History

Established in 1961.

St. Michael’s Eye and Laser Institute was founded in 1961 by Dr. Louis Michaelos, who envisioned a family ophthalmology practice with its main focus on patient care. It has since grown to the next generation with the direction of Dr. John Michaelos with that same focus. St. Michael’s Eye and Laser will continue on that path of ultimate patient care for generations to come.
