Specialties
The Las Vegas Arts District is a home to creatives, crafters and makers from around the world. Long known as a neighborhood oozing with authenticity and history, the 18b is now flourishing with a host of newly remodeled apartments and micro-living studios. In addition to the vintage boutiques, and antique stores lining Main st, there are a number of small bars, cafes and restaurants tucked into the storefronts.
The bulk of the art galleries, studios and exhibits are clustered in Arts Factory and Arts Square near Charleston/Main.
Our street art alleyways offer an ever changing backdrop of color and design that attracts and inspires a diverse cross section of visitors and photography projects.
Plenty of free parking on the street and in private lots. You won’t have to walk far, but our walkable neighborhood can provide an entire day of entertainment for the urban hiker.
History
Established in 1993.
The Las Vegas Arts District is an 18 block portion of the Las Vegas Downtown Gateway Neighborhood that has been stewarded and championed by local artists, small business owners and community activists since before the turn of the millennium.
The active galleries, eateries, boutiques, studios and attractions have overgrown this original 18 block footprint, but we continue on the path laid out by the original 18b founders.
