2 White Guys

Can’t get anyone to respond to my calls or texts. Tried these guys about 2 – 3 years ago and nothing. We moved and needed service at the new place so I thought I’ll give them another try and nothing again. 2 texts later and nothing.

This company won’t even respond to a message left on their phone, a good way to do business eh.

Dane was great. Showed up and gave me a quote. He was honest about the work that needed to be done and the options that I had. Very much recommend him. He was so nice!

Dane and his crew are amazing. They showed up on time with a crew of 6 and three trucks. The made a masterpiece out of a huge neglected mess. We have a few very large pines, olives, palms and even a pomegranate tree. The best part was them not only quoting me 900 less than another company. They came in under budget. I would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely one of the best! Very fast, very thorough, very fair & very honest. We have used them several times for large landscaping plans and will continue to use them in the future!

awful! don’t waste your time! i’ve waited three days for just an estimate! they act like they’re doing you a favor. doesn’t return calls/​texts, very unprofessional! i’ve waited for 3 days and still nothing, wasted my time, i could’ve been looking elsewhere. UPDATE: The owner contacted me after I text him that he was unprofessional and he said (text), «I was going to give you a free estimate, but if you want to pay, I can come now.» I have the text as proof! Who charges for an estimate? Wow. Mind blown. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

Used them for some rental property. They failed to test the drip system, and plants went unwatered for weeks. They failed to answer phone calls or return voice messages. They failed to show up to an appointment to fix the drip system, then got into words with the tenants — not realizing of course they worked for me, not them.
It’s extremely hard for find good landscapers in Vegas, but I’ll keep on searching.

Dane and Justin run an outstanding team of professionals. They show up on time and manage/​my yard properly.
It’s a small company that does a good job for their customers. I’ve been recommending them to friends and coworkers.
HOAs, particularly here in the Paseos/​Summerlin can be a PIA. Two Guys helps us navigate through all that stuff…

Never showed up for our appointment and I even had to get off work early to meet them! No notification they wouldn’t be coming either. Disappointed.

These guys are great. They were at the job site as promised and were efficient, polite and finished the job in record time. Their clean up of the site was exceptional. We will definitely use them and recommend them.

I recently hired these guys to do my yard. What a great job they did. I will use them every week. I even convinced our HOA to hire them. What a difference our neighborhood made due to theml. Thanks 2 white guys

I recently contacted Dane, I called and had to leave a voicemail and asked that he please return my call, I was requesting an estimate on how much it would cost to trim 1 mesquite tree in my yard. I waited the entire day and never received a return phone call. So I called that late afternoon, when Dane answered, he sounded very rushed and almost as if I was putting him out by calling and inquiring about an estimate, almost as if he could not be bothered? When I explain to him what I was looking for, he asked what part of town do I live in. When I told him it was 215 and Decatur area near Aliante Station, his quick reply was, oh we don’t go down that far. When I looked on the map as to where his office is located, their office is off of North Jones between smoke ranch and Cheyenne. I would have to assume if he does not travel 10 to 15 minutes away from his office to do any work? His advertisement must only be for the people that is on his block or within a3 minute radius? I personally will not waste any of my unlimited airtime calling this company or Dane ever again, they will not return your phone calls so you spend wasted time waiting on them, only to be told they don’t go down that far when you’re literally less than 10 miles away from their office. Nor could I be convinced to spend my hard earned money on this company too bad what a waste. Good luck to 2white guys landscaping you’re probably going to need it being so very choosy as to what type of business you do or don’t do. They are definitely not go getters or hungry by any means. To me if there is no ambition to do the work? What kind of work is performed if they do show up? Lucky for me I’ll never have to find out.

We really appreciated the help that 2 White Guys and a Dog gave to assist our son during his Eagle Scout project. Dane went above and beyond to help cut down and remove trees on our kindergarten playground and to use his tractor to dig holes for the new trees. He did this all on his own time and at his expense. We would definitely use his company for landscaping and tree removal anytime. He is professional, prompt and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this company! Thank you, Dane!

Wow, so many 1 Star Reviews. I’ll just start by saying I won’t call anyone else for tree and plant removal. As for planting and maintenance, I won’t be able to review that.
I called for an estimate and Dane showed up at my house 30 minutes later. BAM!!! HE quoted me a price and it sounded great (I had 2 other removers quote me previously). The price also included trimming the neighbors trees from hanging over my pool at no extra cost. Now, I told him I’d call him back the next day for a possible removal date of the 19^th (that was on the 8^th. I forgot to call until the 18^th and he was out the morning of the 19^th as I’d hoped. My bedroom window faces the tree that needed removal. These guys were so fast, Dane was grinding the stump before I could get my shorts and shirt on to go meet him. Amazing!!! He made sure the neighbors yards had no debris and even removed 2 dead plants from my front yard. He then advised me on decorating my yard with better rock and creating an area in the back yard for my wife’s ankle biters to go poo. Just like camping, he left my front and back yard in better shape than he found it.
I am going to have him remove two Laaaaaaaaaarge Palms in the back yard and a Pine in the front. Dane is giving me a blank canvas to create my own perfect lawn on.
As far as tree removal goes, I am calling, AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDING 2 White Guys and a Dog (never saw the dog). Don’t let the name fool you, though. I did see one of my Latino Brothers out there working. Fast, Efficient and Prompt.
Note to Jurkofsky E. (that is a prank name by the way — Jerk Off-​ski — put no credence in that review) I was in the military for 20 years. Real lawn maintenance professionals use a weed whacker. Overseas you would see about 10 Filipinos with weed whackers going at it on the grass through all the areas on the side of the roads. PROFESSIONALS!!!

I’m amending my review. Called and left a voicemail on Dane’s phone 10 days ago to say that they must not have checked the drips when they planted a bunch of 1-​gallons in my back yard. My plants are all dying.
No return phone call! Guess I’m on to finding a new landscaper.

Out of the 3 landscapers I contacted. Dane was the one who came thru for us. Left message with him and he returned my call right away. He couldn’t come out to take my estimate though till two days later since he was already busy on another project.
He showed up right on time though when he came to take a look at our yard that needed clean up, weeding and new ground cover. Even suggested a certain type of ground cover since we had a dog. It would be easier to maintain and keep clean and messes would be easier to clean up.
The estimate I was given was fair. Actually in the middle from the 3 estimates I got. Reason I chose 2 White Guys over another landscaper with the lower
estimate had to do with Dane’s experience and his enthusiasm. The guy is hyper! In a good way.
Anyway the weekend came and Dane showed up right on time, not with 2 guys but EIGHT of them! Dane delegated different tasks to his crew. By noon my yard was clean, the new ground cover looked great! I’d say they are totally reliable and will call on Dane if I need anymore yard work done.

Spoke with him on Friday, he was supposed to come by to help me Saturday. He said he would call me to let me know when, I never heard from him. I even called to check and see if he had an idea of when he might be by. No answer or call back after I left a vm.

These guys came to my house recently and removed an old dead tree. Reasonable price! They not only cleaned the whole area around the dead tree, but they chopped it up very nice so that we could use it for fire wood, I’m sure not many would have done this for me. Before we even hired him he was giving us very helpful tips about how to create our garden and how to instal the drips. Because we were so impressed by his knowledge he decided to hire him for our tree job, and for future garden planning Thank yoU!

Dane and the 2 White Guys have been fantastic. We have over ¹⁄₃ acre of complex landscaping and we have gone through multiple landscapers over the years. Dane and company have been the first to really get it. Outcome has been fantastic both from a planning and maintenance perspective. Great work guys! Your Spanish Palms clients.
