History

Established in 2013.

My name is Ashly and I am the owner and photographer of A & D Photography. Photography has been part of my life through my high school and college years, this year, my husband and I decided it was time to take things to a new level and open our own business. We pride ourselves in being very personable, and creating an experience that will be different than any other photo shoot. When working with us, your family will feel as if they are part of our own family. Your loved ones will not only have the utmost respect, but a time that they can fully enjoy and remember forever.

Photography is far more than a career to me, it’s love. It’s our greatest moments, frozen in time. I started just a little over 12 years ago. During that time I got married, had 2 beautiful & very intelligent children. As I watch them grow, and discuss their futures with them, I feel it’s important to teach them to find things they’re passionate about and to run with it! I have spent many years in the corporate world, even for 2 of the country’s top Fortune 500 companies. While these were excellent companies that offered amazing opportunities for most, I never had felt fulfilled. I had always continued to photograph the beauty of the world, and the people in it. I have a niche & passion for photographing candid moments. While posed photos are important, and necessary when doing portraits, my love for candid photos is simple. To me, there is nothing more beautiful than capturing someone in their own element. A truly natural photograph is the most beautiful kind of photo to posses.
