AAA

Met Jack Jacobs through a client of mine a few weeks ago. Was impressed with his customer service so this week, I signed up for auto insuance for 2 vehicles plus roadside assistance and another policy. I love the convenience of the DMV kiosk! They said hello when I walked in. It was an easy transaction. I do not like going to the DMV so this really helps.

BOOM… I had serious flat tire — always a major bummer. Life happens and flat tires happen. I get it. It’s 105+ degrees outside — It’s scorching — I’m in a my work attire (dress), I have a flat tire and I need help ASAP. I was in a pickle.
Who did I call? AAA
Thank heaven for AAA superheroes. AAA flat tire angels. Seriously, they’re angels. I called the number on the back of my membership card and I had AAA Tow Truck and friendly mechanic (Ian) within 30 mins. I even received text location updates to keep me updated on his arrival time. Ian changed my tire within ¹⁰⁄₁₅ mins and I was on my way. Their service was phenomenal from the moment I called them to the moment I drove off — easy peasy… lemon squeezy.
My membership has paid for itself. Over and over again (2^nd flat tire in the past year). I also receive discounts at hotels, Gap Factory, and Banana Republic Factory stores (Google the Lifehacker article that that highlights all the places you can save at with a AAA membership). They even have options which would reimburse you for hotels if your traveling and have an incident like this. They offer roadside service in anyone’s car – even if you’re a passenger. They even have a DMV Kiosk in their office and you can complete your car registration — hassle free — in and out.
AAA is peace of mind and has helped me out of my flat tire pickles. I implore you to check em’ out if you want the same piece of mind. If you drive and wouldn’t want to be stranded in the heat to change a flat tire in the middle of a Las Vegas summer… call them and get a membership. They’re there when you need them. They’re there with a smile. AAA wins my affection. Period.

More than AAA-​OK.
Just when you think you’re headed home to work comfortably in your underwear. Boom! You walk out to your car and you see that you have a flat tire. It’s one of those instant bummer moments.
Should I change it myself? NO! Of course not, why do I pay $ 45 a year for this service and never get the glory of sharing my AAA moment, until now.
I called around 2pm and requested service for a flat tire. The operator guy was super helpful and said you’re all set and that there should be a truck showing up at 2:23pm to help me, «that pretty precise» I thought. I hang up and instantly get text confirming what the operator guy just said. I decided to grab some coffee and sit down to work on my laptop.
At 2:21pm I get a call from the AAA guy, Ian, «I’m next to your car». Whoa, I walk outside and there’s Ian, patiently waiting. I get out my spare and watch this dude change the tire in what felt like 2 minutes. He even checked the air pressure of the spare to make sure it was set for the road, luckily it was. From phone call to fixed in under thirty minutes. All I can say is wow and Ian you’re the man!
BTW– I’m typing this in my underwear.

Christine is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She is extremely helpful, considerate, and caring. If you go to this office, ask for her!

Came here to use the DMV self serve kiosk and as I walked in, I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed any assistance but since I was there just for the kiosk, I declined. She still offered help if I needed it which I thought was really nice of her.

I went in to the Summerlin office to find out if I could have them transfer my pink slip from Idaho to Nevada and someone from the insurance side came over and assured me that they didn’t do that. I asked if he was sure, and he was. There were three people being helped at the front desk, none of the people behind the desk even looked up at me or the other person waiting to greet us. After a few minutes I left thinking I should probably use another office where I might get some information and/​or service. I thought I could do some of my DMV stuff at the AAA. Apparently I am wrong.

Besides having great service for planning trips and dealing with other auto issues, I love this AAA office as it has a DMV kiosk for renewing car registration. It saves hours from having to go the DMV. Plus it prints out the sticker right from the machine so no waiting for it to come in the mail.
