ABC Towing and Auto Repair

If I could give 0 stars I would.
Started a call for someone to let me into my house seeing as I had lost my key. First contact was made at 1 am. Told me about 40 mins for the driver to show. Hour and a half later he shows up. Okay whatever I just wanna get inside.
20 mins into trying to pick the lock, he said well we’re screwed brinks locks are not pickable. (Why are you wasting my time?)
Tells me the lock will have to be drilled out. Okay whatever. I have a new one waiting. Doesn’t have a drill on the truck so has to go to the office and get it. Okay…
He calls on his way to the office and asks if I have an outlet by my door. I tell him no. He says okay.
Hour and a half later he shows up. While walking to my door he tells me he’s unsure of how much battery life the drill has so we might be out of luck. (Again, why are you wasting my time?)
It is now 515 in the morning and I’m still not in my apartment where I should be.
Never again will I use this horrible company!!!

My sister had to have her car towed and ABC was the towing company for AAA. The man driving the truck said their shop can fix the problem. They never fixed the problem but did do a smog check and an AC charge. The problem is that they kept the car for over two weeks. My sister kept calling and they kept telling her they can’t find the problem. My sister had to rent a car and the rental cost over $ 800.00 money she does not have. If you have AAA call them and complain to them about this company. They are getting back to me. They should not be on the approved list of AAA. They are a scam outfit and should be put out of business.

They were so helpful the tow truck operator was very kind to me and ask me if I was ok he was such a sweetheart

Like everyone says — these people are CROOKS. Had my mechanic talk to them about $ 750 charge to fix a fuel pump. They lowered their price to $ 550 and it was STILL a complete ripoff. DO NOT GO TO THEM. File complaints with the Nevada department of consumer affairs. The only way to deal with these terrorists is to see to it that they get run out of business! Frankly, I don’t know how the people that work for this company can in good conscience whore themselves the way the do.

Do not use them! If you have AAA request another service! This company is a scam and will make you promises of a cheap repair and then take you to their friend’s shop and both companies will rip you off!

Absolutely NOT worth it. 1) called back and forth saying they could not complete the job then they could complete the job 3 different times 2) gave me a quote prior to proper diagnosis then raised my bill over $ 200…3) got a ride to pick up my vehicle only to have it break down AGAIN not even an hour later 4) told me the job would be completed by the end of the business day and failed 5) called the next morning at 8 then again at a 10 and I was told «the mechanics haven’t had a chance to look at it yet» almost as if I did not pay them in full already… in other words, I am currently waiting for them to check my car, even though it has been sitting there the entire day and my bill has been paid in full… PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE WAISTED TIME ENERGY EFFORT MONEY nd stay far away from ths shop!!!

OH MY GOD I wish I’d read reviews on here before I used this company.
THE WORST.
These are clearly shysters running a business with NO INTEGRITY!!!
I called AAA to have my car towed and this company showed up to tow my car. The driver, Lamont, was a very helpful, rather upfront kinda guy who told me «you’ve got power and you’ve got gas, it doesn’t seem like an alternator or a battery, it’s probably just a relay switch» that needed repair and that was something simple and not costly.
I agreed with that part, I should’ve trusted that and yet STILL INSISTED THEY TAKE IT TO PEP BOYS (whom I have a positive history with).
Sadly, when he told me his company could do handle that easily, and that they’d apply the ($ 100) cost of the required diagnostic from the total, I decided to just go with it.
MISTAKE.
Every call made between us was generated by me. The car went in on Monday, it was Tuesday afternoon before they told me that it was the ALTERNATOR and that the total would be $ 388. and even then they wouldn’t be able to have it done til the next day. I called around and got estimates of other alternators and they were about the same price, so I agreed to let them finish. MISTAKE.
The next day I heard nothing and about 3:00pm I finally called to check on it, and they had to «go find the mechanic» blah, blah, blah…
They then told me the car was done.
When I got there, I should’ve known something was not going to go well when I realized that ABC Towing are the people that impound your car.
Well, lo and behold, when they brought my bill, the total was $ 494. and there was no deducted $ 100.
I spoke with a young man Joel, who was of little help, and fortunately (or unfortunately as it were) another guy named Idam (ee-​dahm) came over to «help».
He listened to my story and dealt with me being frustrated and after «checking out my story» (as if I were lying about it, he found out that everything I’d said was true (the fact that I’d remembered EVERY SINGLE PERSON I’d spoken to allowed for him to get to the root of the matter on their end easily) and he deducted $ 90. from the bill.
At this point I just wanted my car back, so I didn’t kvetch about it, just paid for it and asked for my car back.
They brought my car around and left it running as I got into it and began my trip home, about 2 miles away.
I’d forgotten to bring my garage door opener so I turned the car off, went inside and grabbed my clicker, then went to restart my car.
IT WOULDN“T START. In fact, it did EXACTLY what it was doing when I asked them to tow it in the first place!!!
I called Idam back, and told him what the deal was, and he expressed NO remorse, merely defensiveness and all he could suggest was that he send a tow truck over and they’d check it out, then he put me on hold while he had some driver get my address, etc.
I hung up while waiting, because at that point I felt helpless and pissed. NO WAY was I giving them my car again.
SO here I am, out of $ 400 and my car STILL DOESN’T WORK.
If I can do ANYTHING to sway ANYONE from doing business with them, I WILL CHAMPION THAT CAUSE.
These people suck, and they do shitty business.
Can I please have a negative star rating ability???

THE WORST AUTO BODY SHOP EVER!!! I had to call AAA because my brakes went out. The towing company they sent was ABC. The towing guy said i would save money by towing it to their shop instead of my house and they can fix the breaks. This happened on a friday. So on monday i went to check on my car. My husband and i waited for over an hour for anyone to greet us. After talking to three people about what kinda car i have, they quoted me $ 600 for BRAKES! The owner was very rude and stated he did not want or need our business and that he hated impatient customers. WOW! We called another towing company and left.

If I could give no stars I would but I have to in order to leave a review. Do NOT let your tow truck driver convince you to take you here. I was in Las Vegas visiting from California and the tow truck driver took advantage of the fact that I wasn’t familiar with the area. Tow truck driver assured me this was a safe place and they would not take advantage of me and that they would not charge me for a diagnostic fee unless I asked them to. Sure enough that was a lie! Do not sign any paper because it’s in small print that they charge that fee, even if the tow truck driver says they don’t charge. When I was picked up I told him exactly what was wrong with the car and tow truck driver insisted it was something more than what I said. The place and area is also very sketchy. You have to be buzzed to get in and you have to be let out by someone. You can’t get out yourself. I also sat there for a hour and a half before they even looked at my car. So I was charged $ 100 diagnostic fee even though they never asked if they could do that. Supposedly they said the diagnostic said I needed to replace a part that was going to cost another $ 60 not including labor. All the car needed was brake fluid which that’s what I originally told truck driver. So basically I was charged $ 100 for brake fluid. As soon as I made it back to California the part they told me I need to replace was all false, my mechanic said that part didn’t need to be replaced. If it weren’t for the fact that I told the repair shop in Vegas to go ahead and just put the fluid and I’ll get the part fixed at home because I need to leave back to California they would have charged me more just to replace a part that didn’t need to be fixed in the first place. This place is supposedly a AAA certified place. I called AAA to report them and I also called the Nevada business bureau. They should be put out of business. I was in Vegas visiting my father, who is in retirement home, for his bday I went out there with $ 250 in my pocket. I’m a single mom and it just burns a hole in my stomach that there are such horrible scammers out there like this place. Something good always comes out of something bad so I just hope this review will help someone else.

This place is a scammers paradise.
I called AAA to have my car towed and they were supposed to take me to a car repair shop. When the tow truck arrived (ABC Towing), the guy talked me into going a different car repair shop then the one AAA suggested. I kept asking did he have their information and he kept saying he would give it to me in a second. After he had my car up on the tow truck he gave me the business card and it was for ABC auto repair… the same company as the towing company. The tow truck driver said that they would be affordable and most likely able to repair my radiator. And not have to be replaced.
Of course, when I call to tell them what happened to my car (stupid boulders in the middle of las vegas boulevard), and that my radiator was leaking… I told them I wanted to know if they could repair it). She said they would look at it then let me know.
So she tells me that it would be $ 400+ for them to replace my radiator, I cant afford that. So I decide to hire a mobile mechanic (very good by the way)
So I go to pick up my vehicle, and have it towed away (and of course AAA assigns them again). They hand me this $ 100 diagnostic fee bill. I told the lady i never approved a diagnostic and im not paying a diagnostic fee bill. I told THEM what was wrong with my car — why would I turn around and pay you for telling me the same thing I told you? I had the Nevada Bureau of Automotive Repair ready to be dialed in my phone, but she just «$ 0’d» out the bill, and let me go.
But someone please tell me why it took over an hour for them to tow my car to a spot I probably could have pushed my car to? You have my car, you are the tow company, why am I waiting 1+ hours to have my car towed?
Save your money and avoid this place!

This is a AAA endorsed business. When my car wouldn’t start I called AAA for a tow on Thursday night and this is where the tow man insisted that I tow my car because of the great service. I could not get anyone on the phone, had to leave a nessage, called back & insisted on talking to the repair man. He said my starter was fine! But I needed a brake booster. Why would I tow my car if it started?
Anyway, he said that he would call with an estimate later in the day and I never heard another word until I called this Monday morning. He said he had left a message on my cell phone and my desk phone but there never was a message. This brake booster costs me over $ 400 without prior approval and I’m still afraid to drive anywhere for fear the car will not start! Which was why I had it towed in the first place. I went all weekend without a car or an explanation and I’m down $ 400 for repairs that were probably unnecessary.
You always tell AAA where to tow you to, not the other way around! I have learned my lesson. Oh, and my car smells of grease and oil and all my computer settings have to be reset as they seem to have disconnected the battery at some point!!!
