honest mechanics… awesome mechanics… reasonable

I have taken my Mercedes Benz to Kris Kron for minor maintenance work such as oil changes in the past so I decided to take my fathers Mercedes Benz in to fix a driveshaft problem. Kris gave us an estimate for a front driveshaft and labor to install the part. The estimate was $ 1000 which labor was quoted only for $ 170 but the driveshaft was quoted for $ 830. I asked him if the part that he was installing would be a genuine OEM Mercedes Benz part and assured me that it was an OEM part and not an aftermarket part and that he would order the driveshaft from the Mercedes dealership. I left and then came back about 1 week later to drop of my fathers Mercedes and have the repair done. When I went back this time I specifically asked him again that if the part that he was ordering would be an OEM part he told me yes and that I was taking to much of his time and that I can go to the dealer if I did not like it. Now he was acting like a bully and being rude and showed me the actual picture of the driveshaft that he was going to order for me after I paid him already $ 830 in cash. I asked him politely that he keep the receipt and that I wanted to see that receipt when he finishes the job so I know that it was an OEM part that was ordered. Beware. He said no I could not see the receipt again in a mean tone. I left his shop and went home to do my research on driveshafts available from different manufactures especially Mercedes Benz and what I found out was the picture that he showed me at his shop was actually an aftermarket part made by Dorman and not by Mercedes Benz. I immediately text him after hours and demanded that he not order the aftermarket part and not install the part until I see the part with my own eyes and the receipt that he purchased the driveshaft from the Mercedes dealership. Kris responds and says to come pick up the Mercedes because he does not want to do the job and that he will refund part of my money back. In short, it is my opinion that I caught him in a lie or scam and to remove himself from liability and the scam because I would eventually find out that he installed an aftermarket part when I paid for an OEM part and that I would take him to court and sue him. Again, in my opinion he is a first class con man and should be avoided. He is very polite at first to get you in the door but then as soon as you pay and then say you have a problem, then he becomes very rude and tells you to go to the dealer and get your repairs done by them. In addition, I am posting this review is because the OEM driveshaft that I paid $ 830 for was actually a $ 430 aftermarket driveshaft. He made me pay full price for an OEM driveshaft and then order an inferior aftermarket driveshaft and make a $ 400 profit. In the end, I got my fathers Mercedes Benz back and part of my money back. He charged me a 10% restocking fee for a part that he says he ordered but could not show me the receipt or the part. Beware I am sure that this was not the first time that he has done this to customers because I almost believed him that’s how good of a liar and con man that he is. If I were you I would think twice about taking a your car to him and having him scam you because that’s how he makes his money by overcharging for inferior aftermarket parts that he claims are original manufacturer parts. Kris, now do you understand that you can’t do business like this to me or to any other person that comes to your run down repair shop where people go to tweak after hours.

Came in for a brake repair and it was an awesome experience. They Honored the 25% off coupon which saved me $ 95-​… I will definitely use them again or suggest them if me or a friends vehicle ever have a problem in Vegas

These guys are awesome they’re very honest and willing to help anybody out with any car trouble. They did a great job fixing my car and got it done pretty fast so I can get back to California

My son had his car tested, they said it was the starter, but they don’t fix those. SO, He had it towed here! Best decision of the day!
They called a half hour later and said «It’s just your battery!». Yay! Saved him $ 400, and earned a fan.
They put his battery in for free, and off we went. Smallish waiting room, but a loaded snack machine, and sodas. Not the best area of town, but safe inside the waiting room. Decent parking lot.

Absolute auto is the place to go! I recently bought two used vehicles which ended up having problems within the first few months. Kris got me back on the road the very same day!!! If you want an honest mechanic with an honest price this is the place to go!!!

When the owner of this business left his previous location to work for himself (was working at one of the big chains previously), I happily started getting my oil changed here… And more!
I own old vehicles. Kris is an honest guy and he actually told me to stop spending money on one of my vehicles! He knew that the new replacement truck I got would mean I’d only need him for oil changes instead of coming through every few months to fix the next thing that died on my old truck. Now that’s an honest auto guy.
I have always found them friendly and helpful, but their knowledge, expertise, honesty, and great work ethic is what really keeps me coming back and referring my friends.
I can’t believe that I had never left them a review and that no one else had (other than 1 person who apparently found them on their lunch break?)
From oil changes to transmission repair, you will not regret checking these guys out! Really!
Can you tell I’m impressed?!

I bought a groupon for an oil change from this company. Worse mistake ever! Guy in the front desk didn’t want to take my car in after i schedule an appointment a week in advance. He claimed it was too busy but their wasn’t a single customer. He later agreed to take my car in and do the oil change and the 27 point inspection. After 35 minutes he handed me my keys and said he had supposedly replace my filter free of charge. Once i got my keys i checked my oil to see if he had changed my oil. It was obvious he had not done anything to my car. Right away i brought this to his attention he denied it. I asked if he could show me the oil that was used to change it as well the supposedly air filter that was replace. He denied showing me anything. He claimed that my oil looked the same because I should have replaced my oil before the 3,000 miles. He later laughed and told me to go away. I will never buy another Groupon ever! This company doesn’t look legit at all I think it might be used for money laundering. DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGE FROM THIS COMPANY!

Bought a Groupon for an oil change. Went to the place, OPEN sign was blinking but the door was locked. We were there during business hours so we were pretty confused. We called and called, no one picked up. We left a voicemail. Lights were on inside & cars were parked outside. We had other errands to do so we just left. No one has called back since we left a few hours ago.
Lesson for us– Always Unilocal places before buying a Groupon. Sigh.

Drove by there to get a new Alternator installed in my truck. turns out it was just my Battery. these guys are honest and very good at what they do. I sure will be coming back to this shop if I even need any repair on my Vehicles.
