I needed the ignition repaired on an older truck, The guy from All City Lock and Safe assured me that he could do it, so I set up an appointment for my next day off. I re-​scheduled things that I needed to get done to meet the locksmith and he never showed. I called and rescheduled for my next day off and he texted that afternoon stating that he had had a Drs appointment and could no make it, so we rescheduled for my next day off. This time I tried to nail him down to a time and he said between 3p and 6p. I called at 4p and he did not answer, I texted around 5p and he did not respond, and simply never returned any texts or calls. I wasted 3 days off waiting for this guy. So unprofessional and frustrating! The next day I called King Key… they fixed it that day (please see my very positive review for King Key on their site)

I paid $ 540.50 for two keys with remote for my Dodge Nitro 2007. Three months later one of the keys came to pieces so I started using the other key, two weeks later the remote stop working (to open and close the car with the remote) so I decided to go back to this store. Neither key had guarantee and they offered me no good solution. He wanted me to pay $ 270.00 more for replacing the keys. I’m very disappointed and WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE!

Called for a quote on a he said between $ 10 and $ 15, I had the key made he charge me $ 15 plus tax. This seemed expensive so I called Stanley liberty lock they said five dollars for the same key. Beware it seems prices fluctuate.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a locksmith anywhere. Over the phone, I was given an estimate of about $ 100 to make the service call and re key two locks, 40 minutes later I was presented with a bill of $ 528, for cheap non brand hardware of the wrong finish. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and accepted this work! Now I still have to go to the store and replace some of his work. Should have done all of it myself! For the amount that I paid I could have bought Baldwin Locksets! If you want to pay a lot of money for junk, call this company/​if not call somebody else!

So weird reading the Unilocal reviews. This looks like one of the «either you love them or hate them» kind of places. I loved them. Ya, the guy on the phone was a bit terse, but he was knowledgeable. Just sort of had a «back East» attitude (not sure if he is from back East but if you have been in Vegas a while you will understand what I mean). I needed a new key for my truck and it is chipped. Dealer wanted $ 90.00 for the blank and then an hour of service time (even though the process takes 30 seconds) to program it at $ 150.00 an hour. Googled around and found that locksmiths can do the same thing. Called two other «emergency» numbers for other locksmiths — still havent heard back from them. Called these guys and he basically said «bring your truck to me. Faster, easier and I can take care of it». No problem, he is 10 minutes away. Got to the shop. He and his son started working on my key while I chatted with the dad (owner). Ten minutes later I was out the door. Key works great. So maybe if I would have had to have them come to me, or key a home or something major my experience would have been different, but they saved me a bunch of money and were pretty cool in person. But I can see where people might get the wrong impression over the phone. But they did the job I needed them to do, quickly, and cheaper than the dealer. Five stars.

This family who runs this shop are con artists. First they charge you $ 135 to make a duplicate key and then tell you to make a false claim with AAA to get reimbursed $ 60! What kind of business does that. He spent all of 2 minutes cutting my key and programming it. He stated the cost was high due to it having a chip in it. When actually the key cost him $ 5-​$ 7. Don’t trust this business and definitely hope he uses my $ 135 well as I will never refer or give this place my money ever again!

Brought in a couple blanks to have them cut because I was told that my make/​model needed a specific blank that many places didn’t carry. Got lectured about buying blanks on the internet. Charged $ 15 per key to have them cut. He spent maybe 30 seconds cutting the keys and didn’t really even bother to look to see if they matched the original. Brought them back home and they don’t work. After looking, they don’t even really match the original all that closely. I would NOT recommend this place. Terrible service and will not get the job done.

When I first walked in the man was a little rude with his choice of words but he seemed more tired and exhausted than just a terrible person. He did ask his other customer if he could help me real quick since I had a unique key to have duplicated and luckily he found one but said it may not be guaranteed to work and if it doesn’t he’ll refund me. I then explained I forgot to ask if he was cash only and he said not to worry and even waived the CC fee as he was worried the key might not actually work. Looking at the key the shape looks right so hopefully it does! The man may have a bad attitude and weird way of handling customer service but he did do his job and the fact he waived the fee, that he did not have to do but did anyway so I’ll give him 3 stars!

I put one star down because no stars wasn’t an available option. I called them at noon on Friday because our door lock wasn’t working and they said they would send someone. At 5 pm I called and asked where a technician was and was told that «He would have to call him and see where he was and that he would call me back.» It’s wednesday and no Locksmith and no call back. Good thing I found another who actually wanted my money. Thanks for nothing guys. Good thing it wasn’t an actual emergency. Never again, if you want a GOOD locksmith, hit me up and ill recommend the one that actually came.

Dishonest, untrustworthy, bad customer service and overpriced. I doubt I need to say more, but I want innocent homeowners to know to stay away from this guy. He advised us to change our locks and that he’d be putting in better grade locks. Days later we were broken into. The police officer and repairman both stated weak locks and certainly overcharged. When I called to ask for a refund/​explanation, he said no, was very rude and defensive and hung up on me. Ethical/​good work should never need to be defended like that.
I see he has 5-​star reviews here (that’s what got us), but don’t be fooled like us, those reviews seem prewritten.

This company deserves NEGATIVE stars!!! Terrible customer service! Not only is this guy rude, but he over charges and doesn’t back up his services or products to ensure quality and safety. Was told by a police officer (after the lock was broken in to) that the lock was cheap and easy to break. Save yourself time, money, and your right to be safe and protected and go else where!

All City Lock and Key is awesome. Realizing 30 minutes before work, I locked myself out of my Jeep. I called All City Lock and Key. They were at my house in no time at all. I still made it to work on time too. They are the only place I go to make copies of my keys because I obviously need a couple. They are right the first time. No need to go back and no hassle

Holy moly. Rude much? Lost my key to a 1980 vw rabbit and removed all the ignition locks as well as doors and trunks.
He asked me why I did that because it doesn’t make sense and just overall acted like a huge jerk.
Probably keeps keys to break into houses and cars too because only criminals would have that kind of attitude.

Whoever runs this place needs to check themselves. When I call and ask someone for a price I do not want to be called a liar on the phone. I was calling around to get a couple of prices to have a door re-​keyed. I only got a quote from one place which quoted me with a solid $ 49 plus extra depending on the key. I called the same guy twice on accident and he said it sounds like you are just shopping around-​well obviously or I wouldn’t have called. He called me a liar and told me that I recently just called from a blocked number. I am going off of Unilocal and did not realize I called the same company. He was like well if you want to do you if you don’t you don’t with a complete attitude. I am surprised this company gets any business with how they treat prospective customers. I will NOT have you re-​key my lock. If you act like that on the phone I could only image how rude you are in person. He asked me who else I called and I told him I called 24 – 7 but did not get a quote from them yet. He instantly told me that I do not want to use them because they are horrible and shady. Well sir, sounds like you are the horrible shady one.
