Allen Huang, DMD, MS., co-​founders of the Significance Dental Specialists, moved to Las Vegas in 1992 with a degree in Bio-​Chemical Engineering from University of California at Los Angeles. Our team of dental specialist consisted of Periodontics, Orthodontics, and Endodontics. Together, we are treating the most difficult and challenging cases in the Las Vegas valley.

Business Owner

Allen Huang, DMD, MS., co-​founders of the Significance Dental Specialists, moved to Las Vegas in 1992 with a degree in Bio-​Chemical Engineering from University of California at Los Angeles. Dr. Huang worked one year as a periodontal assistant before applying for dental school and received his DMD degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Following his general dental training, Dr. Huang received a full 3-​year scholarship to trained Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at University of Illinois at Chicago. During his training, Dr. Huang received many academic honors, and was named as the first Chief-​Resident in program history. In addition to his specialty training, Dr. Huang also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in oral biology from the University of Illinois where he conducted clinical and histological research in bone regeneration in furcation defects in baboons. Dr. Huang did gum surgery and implants for my mom. She was really nervous at first but came out fantastic. She had two teeth removed on her top back teeth, had bone grafting done with a sinus lift (I think) to get more space for the implant. After six months, she is ready to go to her dentist for the crown. I decided to have my husband go there as well. He had a tooth pulled on the bottom jaw and an implant put in. So far, so good. Dr. Huang seems to have very good chair side manner whenever I was there with my mom and husband. He s not cheap, but I suppose quality work comes at reasonable price.

Needed an implant procedure with appointments beginning last August. Everything Significance Dental did was excellent! Veronica called from the office initially and due to a cancellation was able to get Me in to see Dr. Huang a day after my initial apt. request. Perfect timing as I was returning that day on a two hour drive to Vegas for a follow up with another medical office. The staff at front desk, Dr. Allen Huang and His two assistants are all great people and I will miss seeing them. Significance Dental Specialists will definitely be the place I return for more dental work if the need arises.

We were referred to Dr. Huang through a family friend for an implant procedure. Dr. Huang and his staff did not disappoint! We traveled from California for this procedure, so our expectations were high.
Throughout the entire procedure, the staff was very caring and helpful. Swelling and pain were minimal which is always a plus when operating on your mouth.

My mom was referred to Dr. Huang for the implant procedure. My mom was very nervous before the procedure, but Dr. Huang was able to sooth her and made her relax for a very smooth procedure. Post-​op the implant area also healed very quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Huang for his caring bedside manner and excellent procedure.

Dr. Huang is awesome! He was recommended by my dentist and is conveniently down the street from work. I had bone graft surgery in my gums and it was the most easy oral surgery ever (my third, I think I am a pro now? also, valium is helpful) Anyway, no pain, barely any swelling, followed up a week letter and all is well. I came in again to check on everything 2 weeks after and all is good. Very friendly.
The BEST part is he called me the evening of my surgery day to see how I was feeling, and gave me his cell phone number for the weekend in case I had any complications — wow! I also have another messed up area of my mouth, and his wife the orthodontist (how cute is that) comes in his office on Wednesdays so I can consult with her when I get my follow-​up x-​ray. Highly recommend this office!
