Allstate Insurance: Fred Ledford

Beware of this insurance company!!!
We have been a customer of this insurance agent for a year, paying our premiums on time every month without incident. We recently moved our facilities in September and in doing so we needed to update our new location, loss payee info, and our new credit card information. I contacted their company in mid-​September. I gave all of my updated information including my new credit card information and was assured by the office manager Roxana that the new certificate with the updated endorsements would be sent to me via email within 1 to 2 days. They also took my updated credit card information over the phone. She assured me that if there were any problems they would call. I did not hear from them so I assumed that everything was ok. They have called me in the past if there were any problems when we first started the policy and since there was no calls or emails, which were the primary forms of communication that we were engaged in during the updates as well when I first started the policy, I assumed that everything was in order. We had a water main break at our office building a few units down from ours at the start of December. It did some damage to some of our equipment and office furnishings. I called them to file a claim. They gave me the number to the claims department. Almost a week has gone by and I finally received a call from the claims agent stating that they canceled my policy for non-​payment back in October. I called this agent and they said that after trying to run my business debit card, which had well enough to cover the premium, that they sent out a letter of cancelation instead of picking up the phone and calling or emailing me as they have done with all of our communication in the past! If you take credit card information over the phone and you are not running the charge immediately, any normal person would consider, if the card is not going through, that they may have made a mistake in writing down the information in the first place. Especially if it is a customer that has always paid on time for an entire previous year. Why would you send a cancelation notice when you could simply pick up the phone and verify that the numbers that were written down were correct? Why would your resort to this informal way to reach out to a good customer? I question whether this insurance agent cares about truly helping protect YOUR BUSINESS. When I called to get an explanation, Agent Fred was very cold and rude unlike how he was when trying to sell me the policy. My suggestion would be to go elsewhere for your insurance needs. This guy really doesn’t seem to care about the health, welfare, or protection of any business but his own!

They have always taken care of every problem that comes along. Even when Allstate gave me the run-​around, Fred Ledford and his agents made it much easier to navigate and find a solution. I always feel like I’m their most important customer.

I have been with Fred Ledford and Allstate for 15 years now. I really commend the prompt service provided by Fred. my agent has been with me through good and bad times. We have not always seen eye to eye but he has never failed me. His generosity, under standing and Great service makes me as a customers feel that he care’s about developing a long-​term relationship that means more than just making a sale. I thank Fred Ledford for the ability to provide a resolution quickly. Fred exceeded my expectations of customer service. Thank you Fred

My wife and I, plus our two children have our autos and homeowners insurance with this kind man. Always responsive and is prompt in taking care our issues. Luckily we haven’t had to file a claim yet. But as they say, Your in good hands with Allstate.

Took them a while. But they are nice people
