************ the worst auto shop in vegas *************************
took my vehicle in for a rack and piñón to be replaced. i was getting ready to leave and the mechanic runs out and says «you need to look at this axle you need to replace it» he had squirted oil all around it, the oldest mechanic trick in the book. for some reason they couldn’t get it done that day and had to keep it over nite till 3:00 the next afternoon. then you have the brains of the shop claudia what a joke ! charged me $ 150.00 for 2 bolts that actually cost $ 50.00 for the dealership, oh but we won’t charge you for the labor… well i’m more then sure the labor and then some was already added in. oh and they don’t take debit or credit cards all cash (kinda a funny for a business) to do cash only and with a hand written receipt… is there some money thats not getting accounted for within the business ??? then they leave my ignition switch on all night and run my battery completely empty so had to buy a new battery on the way home. so before you take your vechile in to this shop beware !!! you can tell i’m not a family member that writes all the good stuff about the business, i’m the one that writes the truth about the shop… just beware

I needed a rack & pinion replacement for my 2000 Honda Accord and they had one rebuilt in stock. Their price was half of any other place I checked ($ 150) and most places were out of state and would involve 3 – 5 days shipping.
They have a clean professional looking shop and not only do the installation, but also computerized 4 wheel alignment, again at half the price of other local shops ($ 40).
The Manager is Dominick who seems very knowledgeable and friendly. When they started the alignment Dominick said i might need a camber kit and I thought «Here comes the hard sell!» but after getting the car up on the rack he said I didn’t need it !!! Dominick is very honest and I’m glad I found them. I will definately use them in the future.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. VERY HONEST AND GREAT PRICES !!!

Claudia… you are totally amazing. I took my car to Amigo’s based on the review (no ‘s’) that I read on Unilocal.This woman went on and on about how honest they were and how they go above and beyond… AND SHE WASN’T KIDDING!
She greeted me very nicely and I swear, this is the only time in my 35 years that the mechanic came out of the back of any shop and explained and told me exactly what I needed. I told Claudia and the mechanic that I was thinking of getting new rotors and do you know what they said, «You don’t need them right now, just the pads and a small shaving will do it.» She even called three shops to get the best price on my brake pads! (They don’t sell them, just install them)
Wow! They did an excellent job, the squeaking and rubbing is gone and the car rides smooth without any other problems that seem to «pop up» after a repair. Take your car to Amigo’s Auto Rebuilt Exchange… I’ve never felt so good about spending money with a repair shop.

WOW! An honest mechanic shop? No wait… an HONEST mechanic shop with good rates? No wait, wait… an HONEST mechanic shop with GOOD rates and FANTASTIC customer service?
It’s hard to believe that they exist but they do. People, I am telling you – this is where you need to go for auto repairs. They are kind, they are honest and they do great work!
Background story – I send the bf to get my brakes fixed since I’ve warped them to almost the impossibility of repair. So, after much Unilocal researching Brake Masters was the shop of choice. I tell him to plug the shop on Craig road in the navi and off he goes! Then, he gets lost (umph) and even more lost (double umph). So lost that he ends up in a part of Vegas we both have never been to – Sunrise area.
Running out of time and racing to beat closing time he scurries to find another shop that will service my vehicle. He goes to Firestone – they rudely turn him away because they said they were closing. He goes to Just Brakes – same story.
Then! He stumbles upon Amigo’s Auto Rebuilt Exchange. And I am so thankful that he did. They were about to close but they took the car in anyway (now that’s what I call great customer service). They inspected the car, quoted a great price, and stuck to that price. They were honest upfront about what needed to be done and made sure that everything was in tip top shape (safety first!). They suggested other things that needed work on the car but by no means were they pressuring us.
I can say hands down that I recommend this shop to anyone who needs car repairs.
