You absolutely can’t beat the customer service here. Dennis will go above and beyond to help you get what you need for your tank. He helped us from the ground up and we always look forward to poking around his shop. Love this place!

It was my first time vising the store and right when I walked in I was amazed at how many beautiful corals I saw. The set up of the store was very organized and clean. I met Pam and she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I can’t wait to tell all my friends in LA about this place!

This was another stop we came in to look and see what kind of local fish stores we have.
Unfortunately I just needed freshwater items this time around and they got rid of carrying freshwater items and now only deal with saltwater.
Their tanks were pleasing and clean though. They had a good variety of fish and it was laid out in a way that was easy to navigate and not feeling cramped up. The girl who came up to us seemed rather nice.
There was one fish that was so funny and interested in us that perched from plant to plant to get our attention. We seriously debated on cycling a saltwater tank so that we can get that particular fish, a Falco Hawkfish. Not ready for something that big of a tank yet, but when I do I think this would be the place I would get saltwater fish from.

i love this store! this has become my official «local fish store» and i am always eager to send people here! the prices are very reasonable, and they seem to always have some sort of fantastic sale going on… check them out on facebook because they are always announcing different sales and new shipments on their page. i purchase mostly corals and sometimes fish, and all have been healthy specimens, and thrive in my tanks. they have a huge and ever-​changing selection, and tons of small frags for nano tanks too.

This store is suppose to open at 12pm and I have showed up twice around 1230 – 1245 to find that the store was closed… very frustrating considering its not exactly close to my house, ill stick to stores that are actually open when they say they will be.

A friend of mines had fancied himself an amateur aquarist. It went from a small 10 gallon tank with goldfish to a 55 gallon tank filled with tropical fresh water fishes. It doesn’t stop there were are now starting a 60 gallon salt water tank. Frankly I think fishes are not pets and they are money down the drain. Now a dog is a pet in my opinion.
That’s how we ended up here. Staff here is friendly and very helpful. They would rather sell you something for its functionality than its price. Apparently they are still under construction because there is a wooden ramp that takes you from the entrance to a second room. Watch your step because this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. What i found odd though is that when boyfriend purchased his new filters for the salt water tank he had to ASK for a receipt. They’re response was oh we don’t normally give out receipts. They were very willing to write one up for us on the computer but how is that good business practice in general?
As for prices I have nothing to compare it to since I’ve never purchased anything like this before. But they seem to have a nice selection of live aquarium plants and fishes.
We will be back because they seem like nice guys who are very knowledgeable on fishes.

The selection is great, they have tons of coral, fish, invertebrates, as well as fish equipment and supplies. The previously mentioned entrance issue has since been resolved with a ramp, so no problems there. I think this is really one of the best saltwater fish/​reef stores in the city.

Watch your step as you walk in the door, turn right and enter the aquarium room. There is nearly a 1′ drop, I nearly tripped toward/​onto the aquariums as we came in from the bright sun and didn’t see any warnings about that doozy of a first step.
The shop is saltwater exclusive, seems to have a pretty wide selection of corals, a decent selection of sea life. It almost seemed like they had more variations of crabs and sea stars than fish. However, for a store that seems to be just starting out in the area, it is not as bare as it could have been.
