Just used these guys again for a new security gate on the front door and once again, they don’t disappoint.
My old security gate didn’t shut properly, was flimsy, and didn’t seal all the way around. My new one from AI is solid, custom made to my home, and the color matches the rest of the home.
Not only do I have more peace of mind security wise, but I can actually leave the front door open in the summer for a decent cross breeze and not worry about critters flying in.

I have never recommended a company more often than these guys. I priced out 5 – 6 places, Artistic Iron was in the middle so I ran with them because they have been around for a long time and they have one hell of an operation. Not only was each piece a work of art, the security it delivers is top notch. Installers were excellent too. 6 stars

Becareful when they say the work will be done. Robert the salesman told me 2 – 3 weeks, but my bad I didn’t see him write down 3 – 4 weeks. He wanted the sale and got it. I shoild get my otder in 3 – 4 weeks.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Robert Reel came out and was super professional and helped to walk us through the design for your (2) French Doors and (1) single walk through. He was so helpful with the customer design and helped us achieve what we were looking for and kept us in budget.
The people in the office we spoke to at the office were always helpful in keeping us posted with our appointment and getting us scheduled.
The two installers that came to our house were great! Showed up on time and got the job done quickly while making sure it was done properly.
We could not be happier, the doors are AMAZING!!! The cost is a little (we thought it would be so much more) above what you would pay for at the big brick and mortar stores, but SOOOOOO worth it to have doors that do no look like everyone else’s and that flat precut look.
Thank you artistic! You have all been amazing and we will def. be using us for the future jobs we have in mind at the house!

We are currently having some custom iron done to our current house but we have used them on two previous occasions and could not be happier!
The guys come out and design your project and have examples if needed.
We always have custom designs and know what we want and the color also. They can powder coat to any custom color.
The biggest project we have had them do were multiple dog gate and fence areas and also a large courtyard gate and fence.
Quick, efficient, not the cheapest… but always the best!

We have used Artistic Iron Works for over 20 yrs. Unfortunately their work is not consistent. They have done work for us in the past that we were extremely pleased with. Unfortunately we also have a monstrosity in our backyard that was installed 10 years ago. Although they discounted this job, I have to look at it every day.
The security bars/​doors that were installed a couple of years ago were great! Although, I’m not fully convinced it is 100% secure (they recently fixed one of the security doors).
Unfortunately (again) the last job we gave them was to enclose our front porch to create a courtyard. Not only did they not meet the original agreed upon deadline, we were left with broken concrete. Their reply to our concern was «its structurally sound.» When we called the office to complain, we were told we would be contacted by a supervisor who would come out and look. I guess since they got paid they don’t care as we never heard from them again.
While to some it may be minor, we will not use them for future work, nor will we recommend them ever again.

Apparently your office knows exactly which job this is as we received a phone call less than 24 hours after posting this review. They sent someone to our home and somewhat repaired the broken concrete (it looks better than it did). We are still not satisfied with our overall experience and your comments do not help. The invoice # is 12 827.

I contacted this company in regards to a iron entry way. Their price was more then double then the other 2 bids I got. The other 2 bids were same design, same size, same material, same Powdercoat. When I started calling the salesman out he got very short and rude. As if I was insulting him because I had questions and wanted to see the value in a price that was double that of everyone else’s. He wouldn’t leave me a bid either. I don’t get these contractors in this town! Yes we are going to shop and yes we all want a fair deal and quality work. Won’t be calling them again. Phone operator there very rude as well.

I was told the job would take two weeks. Five weeks later I was still waiting. I have never dealt with a ruder group of people when I called the office. The fence was not constructed as agreed and only done correctly when they had extorted additional money from me. I will never recommend them and will actively advise anyone I know from using them.

I am so disappointed with my experience. Those of you who gave five stars be so very thankful that you did not experience what the rest of us did. I think it is safe to say that it is hit or miss with this company.
I invested thousands of dollars (over 20k) in what I thought would be a fantastic upgrade to my home (new door and stair railings), but what I got was broken promises, subpar work, no communication, missed appointments, iron frames that do not fit, several chunks out of my wood floor from dropped iron, and tons of black caulking. Oh and I was also treated to insults about my home. Everything is fine with this company until you have a problem, then it’s all downhill from there. Even though I spent my whole summer accommodating the workers and treating them with respect, I was still treated like trash!
I was told that I would receive a discount for my trouble but the initial offering was $ 200 (no, I didn’t miss a zero) which is less than 1% of the original contract. I told them that it was a slap in the face for over 12 weeks of pure hell (my contract that I signed in May was for 3 – 4 weeks) but trust me when I say that they could care less! I countered their offer and said that I would agree to $ 2000 or less than 10% and was countered back with a letter offering $ 500, an extended warranty, and insults pertaining to the «overall lack in construction» of my home, and that I have walls that are «seriously out of plumb». Who does that?! Who haggles what a customer’s experience is worth and then throws blame away from themselves by insulting the home itself? The only reason I accepted that offer was because I was so tired of dealing with this company. They wear you down until you can’t take it anymore. And by the way, the letter was signed by the owner who has never been to my home and never came out to see what all of the issues were about, but he had no problem forming a blind opinion about my home!
Now, with all that being said, they were given the opportunity to make everything right and they failed big time! They failed to acknowledge that I never heard back from the sales guy who sold me the doors (that I picked from a picture, just changed the color), he also convinced me to get a new $ 1,600 archway window from his buddy, that the archway, doorframe and one of the window frames was measured incorrectly and subsequently did not fit, that there was damage done to my wood floor, that the knuckles for the stair railings were too small… I could go on but I think you get the idea. They didn’t even start fabrication until I called to check the status almost five weeks AFTER I signed the initial contract.
Do not believe anything you read that counters the claims of horrible customer service. They do not put the customer first but I will say that even though it took over 12 weeks to get to this point, they had no problems cashing my checks right away. I have since shared my experience with neighbors who were wanting to get new doors and after seeing the finished product for themselves they have since changed their minds. Good luck to anyone that disregards this review!

I Am very satisfied with the wonderful job they did. It took us a couple of revision of our plan but the final product is just what we dreamt of. Highly recommended. Reasonable priced. Quality work.

I am very pleased with the 14′ double gate that I ordered from artistic iron. Every time I see the gate I am glad that I trusted artistic iron with my needs. It adds beauty to the home and the quality of materials and craftsmanship is apparent.
We ran into an issue along the way, but they took care of it. I appreciate them making customer service and satisfaction a priority.
I am happy with the product I received and the price I paid. I will be contacting artistic iron again for any future work that I may need. Thanks again!

We purchased a simple gate for our side entry to the back yard; overall we are pleased with the gate but the process wasn’t flawless.
Getting an appointment for the quote was quick and easy; the salesman was on time, professional and understood our wants/​needs. One option that wasn’t discussed was the finish on the hardware; the standard hardware is brass and it was never mentioned that we could upgrade to another color and I didn’t think to ask at the time, but it all worked out in the end. Out of 3 or 4 other similar companies AIW was the cheapest by at least $ 200!
We decided to add «knuckles» to our simple design to give it a little something extra, the salesman explained the knuckles cost an additional $ 85 to install because of the extra welding that needs to be done. I know enough that there really isn’t $ 85 worth of welding or material to add the knuckles but I understand the need for a charge; I just felt $ 85 was a little steep.
The estimated date for install was ~2 weeks from down payment and they did keep to that schedule. However, I had to call them late the evening before to confirm they’d be there the following day; they assured me they would and asked if I had a preferred time of day. I explained that mornings work better for me and they said they would have someone there in the morning however no one showed up until almost 4pm. I understand that delays happen but I had to reach out to them to find out what was going on rather than them being proactive and calling me to tell me the installer had been delayed.
I was at work when the initial install took place and was getting updates from my wife as it was happening. The installer told her the gate was fabricated too narrow so he had to cut a piece off and re-​weld it so the gate would latch when it closed. A big selling point for me was that the gate was powder coated; anyone that knows anything about powder coating knows that as soon as you grind it and re-​weld it it MUST be re-​powder coated. Instead the installer spray painted it (and the side of my house) to cover up the mistake. There was also some sort of chemical spray left behind that my 16 month old found while my wife was inspecting the work after they left.
I called the next day and expressed my disappointment and the office staff was very helpful; I sent photos of the problem areas and within a few hours they had scheduled a service call for the following day.
The service technicians arrived on time and were also very professional and understood my concerns and didn’t try to make excuses for the poor install job. One of my complaints was the quality of the welds on the knuckles; they were sloppy and had practically no penetration and I felt weren’t worth anywhere near $ 85. I also mentioned that had I known brass was the standard finish for the hardware that we would have gladly paid extra for something else. They put together a plan to fix the problems, and said they’d swap the hardware free of charge for the trouble, he would also see about a discount on the knuckles.
1 week later the new parts were fabricated, powder coated and installed and the hardware was swapped. I had some exterior touchup paint from another project and they touched up the overspray from the initial install. The installers arrived on time and for the most part seemed organized, one of them mentioned that it was a new truck so not all of their equipment was in the normal place; had they not mentioned it I wouldn’t have noticed.
Overall we are very pleased with the gate and even though the installation had its hiccups they made sure to make it right. The office and service staff were very helpful and professional and understood my concerns and made sure to address each one. The day following the installation of the replacement parts they called for final payment; the final payment didn’t reflect a discount for the knuckles so after a quick check with her supervisor the price she reduced the final payment by $ 50.
I would recommend AIW to anyone and offer this advice:
If you have any problems or concerns give them a chance to fix it; they are on top of customer service and in my experience will do what it takes to make it right!

I am extremely thrilled with our iron gate that was just installed today. The whole process from start to finish went flawless. I called on a Friday afternoon about 4 weeks ago and I wanted someone to come out on a Saturday morning. Jimmy came over and worked with us on our budget and design for a Tuscany themed iron gate for an entry way.
After I got my HOA to approve our design, within two weeks it was fabricated and installed this morning. They called me the night before to confirm and showed up on time this morning. Excellent job and a company who stands behind there words.

We were looking for a new security door for our home. We looked at a top of the line Titan brand at Lowe’s. It was all thin computer cut designs and just looked cheap. The price was $ 1650 plus $ 250 for installation. We went to Artistic and met Larry rite before closing. He was super nice and showed us around the showroom and even the back where the magic happens :) He answered all of our questions and w/​I 15 mins we had chosen our new door, color and were on our way home.
Larry worked w/​my wife who also wanted our initial on the door and they got all of that «hammered» out too. It took about 1 month from start to finish and cost us the same as a lesser quality one at the big box store would have cost! Best of all it was all hand built and designed by a local person in a local business!
We were very pleased w/​the finished product and the installers were very professional and made sure everything was perfect before leaving! Would definitely call Larry if u are in the market for anything iron!

My wife was looking for a unique security door for our home. We visited the Artistic Iron Works showroom and were shown many different styles by a knowledgeable and professional staff. After looking for over an hour we made a selection, changed the overall structure of the door to fit the Tuscan theme of our neighborhood, picked out a powder coat color and the finishing hardware. The purchasing process was simple and easy, which made us happy.
We bought our door on a Saturday and the following Monday a member of their team arrived at our residence to take the measurements for our door. Approximately four weeks later the installation team arrived. The installation was not easy, but if you have lived in Las Vegas for any length of time, no installation is ever easy due to the homes not being built square. The two installers were very professional and had a superb attention to detail. They spent approximately two hours on the installation making sure everything fit properly and that it was square. They tested the fit time and time again and made sure all the hardware was functioning properly before they left.
The only issue we had throughout the entire process was the installation date. The installers showed up a day earlier than scheduled which caused a bit of a conflict with my schedule that day, but we made it work.
We have had our door for two weeks now and we are very happy with the quality, design and installation. My wife says it makes the exterior of our home look even more beautiful.
Stop in to the Artistic Iron Works showroom, look around and maybe you will find what you are looking for, like we did!

I love love love my new iron gate that they customized for us! Their service is great and did an awesome job installing our gate! It’s truly a work of art! I will highly recommend them!

I had two gates installed at my residence since I didn’t like the previous owner’s handiwork. Because I have a pool I had to get a gate with a punch code autolock. I was told I didn’t have an option.
Within the 10 days of having the gate installed my lock failed to keep the gate secured. What’s the point in spending so much money for a gate if it won’t lock and gives people access to my yard? I called a locksmith twice to see why my gate door could pretty much be pulled open without using a gate code and found out the installer gave way too much spacing between the door and the locking mechanism so it wouldn’t «catch» the lock. By him doing this my backyard was not secure since the install and the lock wasn’t tested on the finished door to ensure that it couldn’t just be pulled open. To me after spending over $ 1500 that should have been tested before leaving, period. Thank goodness for the locksmith that put in spacers in order to close the ¼″ gap between the lock and the box. It doesn’t look pretty since it’s brass against black powder coating but at least my gate locks and is secure and that’s all that matters. This should have never been an issue if the gate was installed properly.
Due to my experience I would not recommend this company and will refer my neighbors elsewhere.

I left a message when I realized that the gate would not lock, and no one called me back. Also the gate was not thoroughly tested since from the initial install there was a ¼″ gap which would not allow the lock to actually function. :/

We ordered about $ 6,000 in work from them. Our salesmen was great and so were the installers. Two different people came to measure twice. We had to call to check on an install day as if they may have forgot. However when they came to install, 3 of my 4 gates were measured wrong. The installers did everything they could to fix it in the field which eventually they fit. This doesn’t leave us any room for play if the gates settle. The 4^th gate was taken back because it was so off. They called their field supervisor and he didn’t even respond to take a look. All he said was «fix it». Well, it’s hard to fix when the gaps are so big.
It should have been a two hour job that turned into a whole day. My installers were completely apologetic. It has been almost a week and still a supervisor hasn’t reached out to give us an update. Bottom line, the customer service is lacking. The gates are beautiful but not so much as they are driving away on their truck.
