Not your typical, boring CCW class. Mike is highly knowledgeable and entertaining! His High energy class kept me interested and the information he delivered was pertinent to real life situations. Great practice drills which again were designed to be used in real life situation. You Must chose Mike!

Just took the CCW class with Mike yesterday and I am very impressed! I learned more than I thought I would learn. Mike was able to keep the class entertaining with great jokes to keep us engaged and has an extensive wealth of information. The packet he gives everyone to take home has a ton of info in it and he does not just teach the minimum standards. He will run drills with you until you are ready to call it quits. I highly recommend his classes in the future.

Mike is the guy to see for your firearm training and CCW permits. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and an all around great and personable guy. Not only does Mike cover everything you need and want to know, he gives you an extensive packet of great information that is yours to keep. Lots of handy info in it. I have quite a bit of experience with firearms, and I still walked away from his course with some more great tips and ideas to add to my tool belt. Mike is the man. I’ll be back.

I just went for my renewal class and same as the first time I took his class Mike did a excellent job. Even though this was a renewal class for me he still taught me a lot and has a way to make his class fun. I will always renew my ccw with him. He’s a down to earth and real guy and if you want a enjoyable experience for something that could be down right boring than call Mike. And Mike if your reading this the jokes have gotten better but I still wouldn’t quit doing the ccw classes just yet lol. Thanks again for a good time.

I spent a one-​on-​one with Mike, it doesn’t get any better then that. The training, instructions, and knowledge he shared with me was more then I expected. I found his experience in firearms and first-​aid to be exceptional and very beneficial to learn from. I highly recommend his professional services if you want the right kind of training from someone who knows what they’re doing. He certainly made me feel comfortable and I walked away knowing much more then I came with. It’s not too often you get more then what you pay for.

I was nervous because I am a female going to a gun class by myself. Mike is a great instructor, he is very patient and his jokes are sometimes funny I learned a lot, got to ask questions and his CCW class was really fun. It didn’t feel like an 8 hour class. The time flew by. I met some really nice people during the class. Mike made me feel really comfortable and I plan on taking more of his classes for sure. I highly recommend At The Ready for your CCW!!!

I just wanted to drop a note to thank you again for the excellent CCW instruction this past Sunday. Mike was as informative as can be and the scenarios presented were as close to everyday situations as you can get. We were in the private training in different situations. It’s so fun!
I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to educate themselves on the carrying laws.

Mike is a fantastic instructor. I took my CCW class through him and he makes sure to address everything legal and practical you will need to know for concealed carry, giving many sample scenarios and solutions. There are plenty of opportunities for the students to ask questions throughout the class. Secondarily, he managed to turn what would normally be a full day of dull, tedious (in my opinion), albeit very important material into an entertaining and educational presentation with his personality and sense of humor! His prices are reasonable too.
