The sleeve surgery that Dr. Atkinson performed on me August 4, 2014 was in itself a miracle surgery for me. I no longer have diabetes, high cholesterol or high blood pressure. I have learned to eat healthy, exercise and I am extremely happy with my second chance at life.
This I believe was a God send. Dr Atkinson is very professional and highly educated with a sweet and sincere personality. I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity and the honor to meet Dr Atkinson and have his expertise in my surgery quest.

I had two surgeries performed by dr atikinson. The process from start to the OR was simple and straight to the point. I got the Lapband in 2010 and loving my new life as a thinner person. The nurses and staff are friendly and help you guide through your weight loss journey. One month I gained 2lbs and the nurses were helping me to think positive. Dr Atikinson personally helped me through the surgery since it was my first surgery and I was so scared. He was there after I woke up and told me everything was going to be fine. Coming from a surgeon, it helped me a lot. My second surgery was only to remove scar tissue that wrapped around my band and Dr Atikinson helped me with that surgery as well. I recommend James AND Dr Soong. They are sincere doctors and actually care for their patients.
