Check out our boutique and our new section just for cats, outdoor dogs and a herbal garden for pets. We offer VIP cards for grooming, bakery, self-​wash & «pay with cash». Drop off donations for our Karma Konnection. We have a different rescue group/​shelter each month to receive donations (blankets, towels, toys, food & cash). History

Established in 2007.

Bringing a whole-​body approach to caring for your pet means that Kathy and Craig Patterson don’t just offer their customers what’s popular. They offer what’s best for your pet. Having this clear purpose and passion is what makes Barking Dogs different from other pet stores.

For every food, supplement, or treatment available at Barking Dogs — they have done the research and spoken at length with manufacturers to ensure that what they sell will holistically enhance your pet’s overall health and well-​being.

In some ways, the term «holistic» tends to be a bit overused these days. But authentic holistic care truly is at the heart of everything that we do at Barking Dogs. It’s our firmly held belief that proper pet care encompasses the healthiest, most natural approach to whole body health for your pet. That means we encourage achieving optimum levels of Wellness, Behavior, Exercise, Cleanliness, Grooming, and Feeding regimens for your pet.

Business Owner

Several years ago, Kathy Patterson began a journey to search for ways to restore the health and well-​being of her beloved Labrador, KC. And it was while focusing on finding holistic alternatives for KC’s health issues that Kathy found her passion.

Seeing first-​hand the positive effects these methods had on KC’s health, Kathy continued to pursue knowledge and training in this area of pet care and nutrition. This led to her ongoing studies with Clayton College of Natural Healing – where she continues to focus on «Holistic Care for Companion Animals» today.

During this personal journey, Kathy and her husband Craig came to realize a dream: Founding a place to share with other pet owners the holistic health and wellness information and products they discovered. That place is Barking Dogs
