History

Established in 2002.

Established in 2002, the founders of Bel Air Internet simply set out to bring Internet access to a small neighborhood in Bel Air when the cable and phone companies were unable to provide service. Using a 60-​foot pine tree as its first broadcast station, Bel Air Internet was able to successfully provide high speed Internet to the neighborhood through a wireless connection.

Since that time, our small neighborhood Internet service has grown and we have expanded our footprint with a private 40-​gigabit wireless/​fiber backbone that crisscrosses the greater Los Angeles area. While implementing new technologies, we now provide a full array of the most technically advanced communication services, including ultra High-​Speed Internet, DIRECTV and telephone to over 30,000 consumers and businesses throughout the greater Los Angeles, Orange County and Las Vegas areas.
