Lots and lots of costumes to choose from. My friend found the accessories she needed. Though a little pricey, but that’s to be expected when you need something last minute. Great customer service!

I needed a last minute costume for my kids school speech festival. My husband stopped in to see if your store had anything that would work. The young lady who helped him was super helpful. She knew where everything was without hesitation, and went above and beyond to help. He never says anything about anyone normally but he came home so impressed he insisted I write a Unilocal review!

I was really happy this place was opened in May. I had a special event and I needed a costume. They have a website also and this helped me narrow down my search. The woman was very nice and patient with me and when I finally made my choice she helped me with the extras I needed. I would recommend this place and I will for sure go back. P. S I got a lot of compliments on my costume

Cashier was super sweet, I love everything Halloween. It’s a great place to shop ! And they have a cute cat just walking around so don’t be alarmed !

We were Looking for a costume, unfortunately they didn’t have the size we were looking for… but we were given excellent service. Brian showed us all different costumes, even suggesting mix and matching various ones to meet the theme we were looking for. We were undecided, so he said he would hold it for us until we decided. That’s taking the «Extra Step»!

The staff here are very nice and helpful. You can try on the costumes and they have actual dressing rooms. Not like some Halloween stores which have just a makeshift booth to try things on if they even let you try on stuff. Here everything is organized and easy to find. The reason for 3 stars is the selection isn’t that great. Other Halloween stores in the area have a much larger selection of women’s costumes. I had high hopes walking in but left a little disappointed.

I like the merchandise and the costumes! The décor and what not is awesome too but the owners are pretty rude. Their staff on the other hand is very nice and helpful! I went 2 different times and the owners kind of rushed me and followed me around the place like I’m going to steal.

The selections up front are amazing! All the masks do their part and own up to the special occasion of Spooky Halloween.
Finally found a Yoda costume for my baby cousin and realized how much their selections on different customers were. Plus, it wasn’t crappy fabric. Something that can last for years!
Will definitely be returning every Halloween. More so because they have a black kitty that roams around the store, Awesome!

Halloween has a special place in my heart since my twins were born in October 31^st. Needless to say, Halloween at my house is taken very seriously, and it is always nice to find a business that does as well.
As fly by night Halloween stores start popping up all over the valley, the contrast to this store is especially stark. If I had to sum up the difference in one word I would say– quality. There’s also selection, great array of masks and accessories, novelty gifts and a fluffy black cat keeping watch over it all.
My daughter immediately started drooling over a furry fox mask, so I had to take note and remind her that birthday is just around the corner.
There is also a selection of décor, wigs, great novelty hat section.
Fitting room doors have a cool coffin design– these guys clearly take their business seriously!
The one thing that stumbled me was a sign on the door that said no one under 16 is allowed without an adult. I had my kids with me and was immediately confused by a combination of this stern warning and pictures of five year olds sporting Disney princess costumes in the window. I sort of poked my head in, didn’t see anything more offensive than very well developed mannequins sporting someone’s school girl fantasy outfits, and charged in. I think the only risqué item I spotted were «boob» and um, yeah, costumes in the corner, but very tame compared with Spencer’s gifts.
I loved their selection of horror movie themes t-​shirts and even spotted a lovely Elvis tee, sadly, not in my size.
Definitely worth checking out and hopefully you feel inspired!

Super cute costume store with everything from outfits, to accessories, and even Disney purses!
I went here to find a wig I needed for comic con, but unfortunately they did not have it in stock. And I was sad that they didn’t have the wig I needed, but being able to pet the black cat that was lazily sleeping in the shopping baskets made up for it. :-)

Solid local costume store– open year round and a definite step up from those run-​down Spirit stores that pop up all over town this time of year. Costumes, décor, accessories, and more found here for anything from a theme party to a class project and whatever charity 5K is happening this weekend.
Costumes and accessories for guys and girls from baby to adult, in a huge variety of styles: cartoon characters, historical figures, opaque body suits, bloody/​gory, and the obligatory skimpy-​with-​animal-​ears stuff for skankin’ it up.
There are quite a few high-​dollar «realistic» display pieces in the four-​digit-​price-​tag range in a separate room with do not touch/​no pictures signs, along with signs to accompany your kids within the store. Fitting rooms are nice, store is clean and organized, and there’s even a store mascot– find the black cat when you stop by!

Really cool place! Very nice and helpful staff and i love the black cat that just chills there. Itjust lets you pet it. :3

Best part of this place is the sheer amount of unique costumes. I mostly buy online because nearly all Halloween costume stores carry the same shtick for a lot of money and it all looks just as plastic as the packaging. But this place has things I haven’t seen before, and I’m a costume junky.
Prices can be high but I’d say Black Cat doesn’t have a lot of competition, not even in our crazy Vegas area. They carry elaborate costumes, wigs, gags, accessories, home décor and everything else. Everything is of really good quality, I love my wig I got for last year’s Halloween costume. It was durable enough to take and hold product, and the hairs weren’t sparse.
Just be sure you’re ready to drop a little dough for a quality costume, but it beats the hell out of costume stores like Spirit. Definitely check it out!

Love this place! The gal that runs it is super friendly and personable. I loved their selection of home décor and masks. Fantastic! I bought two candle skull holders for my windows. Coming back!!!

They do have some unique costumes.
The staff here is very friendly and always willing to help.
Price here is pretty close to most halloween stores, although their costumes might be a few dollars more it seems the accessories are a few dollars cheaper.
When it comes to a deluxe or detailed costume thats meant to be worn more than once you can easily spend 100+

Black Cat Costumes were very helpful in helping me figure out what type of costume to get for a party that my family and I were attending. The selection is good and the service was even better. Also, there was a good selection of kids costumes that my boys found interesting. We will likely be back to get the costumes later this month. I will definitely come back next year for myself (if I decide to dress up for Halloween anyways).

Another failed attempt to locate a last minute Halloween costume. The didn’t have a lot of interesting costumes to choose from so I didn’t end up picking anything up. No one helped us or asked if we needed assistance the entire time we were there.

We came here for some last minute Halloween accessories. We weren’t able to find anything to buy, but they had a good amount of stock for a last minute visit. The prices seemed to be on par with the rest of the Halloween shops we checked out. Staff wasn’t particularly attentive. I don’t think we were asked if we needed help the entire time we were there. The costume stock was pretty average and nothing different from all the other shops we looked at.
