We specialize in the collection and celebration of unique pieces from around the world… forgotten relics, antiques, repurposed and refurbished furniture, vintage finds, architectural salvage, and that elusive one of a kind piece. We take great pride in our hand made wares crafted from local artisans… soap products, jewelry, paper creations, hand painted furniture, curious goods… and more.

Bloom’s collaboration of creative ideas and unique finds are perfectly enhanced by our never-ending collection of treasures, Tyler Candles, Cavallini & Co. Papers, chandeliers, topiaries and vintage pottery.

We are very excited and proud to be a stockist for Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan. We carry Miss Annie’s full line of paint, wax, brushes, and books.

History

Established in 2011.

Bloom opened in 2011 as a vintage, salvage and design boutique

in the heart of historic downtown Boulder City, Nevada.

With much anticipation, Bloom on Charleston made its debut in Las Vegas, Nevada in the fall of 2013.

I am extremely blessed to have grown up in rural Wisconsin — in a big family — where restoring and salvaging was the norm. Our weekends were auctions and fairgrounds, endless drives down country roads on the continual pursuit of the «find.»

Mom and Dad nourished in us five kids a love for junk, an appreciation for antiques and a passion to create. They showed us personal taste was not dictated by style, and that the touch of something old spoke volumes and was to be cherished. They taught us to design by our own thoughts, that hard work is a virtue, and most importantly, YOU can do anything…

I’m still a Midwestern girl at heart. I was homesick for the comfort and enchantment that time-worn treasures provide.

Bloom was born in 2011 out of a need for something different …

It is a collaboration of all things.

Bloom is a great addition to our community and my household. I have been there several times over the last two years, and have found the staff and Bridget always helpful. At times have brought in my few disasters and as always, help is away a given. Having redone my cabinets with their tips– I have saved thousands. Always will speak well highly of Bloom :)
It’s hard to believe a few have had no the same experience.

If I could give zero stars I would for absolutely terrible customer service.
Almost two weeks ago I ran out of my General Finishes Java stain which can only be found at Bloom. I was trying to finish staining my kitchen cabinets before going on vacation. I called the store to see if they had any stain in stock. They said they did and I said, «Great, I will stop by TONIGHT». I went to the store and got there at 5:14pm, still bright and sunny outside. I walked to the door and the sign said closed and that they close at 5:00pm. Are you serious?! WHY when I said I would stop by TONIGHT did she not say, we’ll don’t come too late since we close at 5pm? Needless to say I didn’t get to finish staining the cabinets before my 10 day trip.
Then when I flew back in town yesterday (3÷26÷16) I called at around 4:30 and asked her what the hours were that day (Saturday) and she said 5pm. I knew I couldn’t make it to the store in time. I then asked, «Are you open TOMORROW and she said YES. I then asked, «What are your hours TOMORROW» and she said, «11−4pm». I said great and hung up.
So today I go to the store and they are closed for Easter Sunday. I don’t celebrate Easter so I didn’t even think of that, but I had specifically asked her if they were open that day and what the hours were and she answered they were.
Please hire someone for the phone that has a clue so people aren’t traveling 20+ minutes to go to a closed store twice.
Luckily the store in Henderson had a lovely lady there. That is the only Bloom I will use in town.

I am so disappointed and disheartened by the customer service, return policy, and most of all the prices.
Going into specialty boutiques like this I know I will be paying more but I believe in small business and helping out our community, at bloom however I feel like they help themselves. I went to Home Depot and was SHOCKED to find that what I bought at Bloom was three times cheaper at Home Depot. The paint brush I bought was $ 7 – 8 at Bloom, but only $ 2 at Home Depot. Similar price discrepancies were found with the rags and stain I bought. This is just not okay, especially because there was nothing special or different about the items at Bloom.
Customer service– I went in to the store excited about my very first project and I asked questions and I got help and pointers EXCEPT when it came to the price or their return policy. She cared more about making a sale then helping me out, which I would understand at a bigger more corporate store but at a specialty shop like this you gain more clients and loyalty by the way you show you value your customer not their wallets. NOT once did the representative say, «you are going to want to make sure it’s what you want though because we don’t exchange or refund.» I WISH she would have, especially as she saw and heard me being so uncertain about things, like color or type, etc.
Return/exchange– When my husband went to see what he could do, the lack of customer service was even more apparent, the caring about money more than the customer was blatantly obvious. After a struggle the representative gave store credit.
We had gone to a different store, that is also more of a specialty boutique. Their service was nice, they tried to help me with my project. When I got too much of something they were beyond understanding and kind about it. They returned it and truly helped us. They gained a loyal customer, bloom has lost one and looking at other reviews more than one. After we finish the store credit I will NEVER go back to Bloom to buy anything. Like we understand and support local business they should understand and support customers, we are all struggling.

Well I was excited to stumble upon this little shop… I was really disappointed when nobody said hello, or even acknowledged me while I was walking around. I can find quality products with better customer service at Unique Finds at Home Bazaar.

I love this store. The décor is unique and fun and not too overpriced. The customer service was helpful and answered all of my questions. They have candles that smell out of this world. They also sell the chalk paints my dad is crazy about and used on all of my old bedroom furniture (it looks better than new) btw. They also have samples of their painted furniture. Yes, I said painted! It’s soft and won’t crack and looks pretty fantastic! I have an old couch I’m going to try it on just as a focal piece. They have also do classes for chalk painting and sell all the materials and brushes. It is a pretty amazing hidden gem and I hope they stick around for a while. Vegas needs more stores like this.

What a cute little store! I said… Until her nasty customer service came in the picture… So If you want Overprice home décor, and crappy customer service, this is the place. I begged and explained (nothing that I bought was either seasonal or on sale) please let me buy paint, brushes, or let’s use the credit $ for the workshop or something, the answer was NO. I said, maybe you should be a little bit more considerate with your policy on «home décor exchanges) just IN STORE CREDIT, the woman there said «We have a lot of customers, we don’t need more» seriously? You don’t need more customers uh? Well, then I’ll make sure naïve people like me, find this review and save them the hassle.

Solid gift shabby-chic décor store and gift shop, most popular for carrying Annie Sloan chalk paints and candles.
Lots of reclaimed and refinished furniture, such as tables, headboards, dressers, and tables, but also some reupholstered chairs. Everything is in the shabby-chic style, which I don’t use in my home, but whoever is behind the work clearly has a lot of talent.
For gifts, they have a few smaller knick-knack décor type items, along with fancy painted packs of matches, notebooks, and mirrors/frames. Their candle selection is limited to the amazing-smelling Annie Sloan brand– unfortunately, $ 40 is a bit too hefty for me to spend on something I’m going to burn. But feel free to grab one as a gift for ME!
The store also holds classes to paint– a chalkboard sign at the door has their upcoming classes, but I didn’t see any pricing info. Would have asked, but staff was on the phone with a friend for the majority of my visit.
