Blow N Go

Was just back in again after moving out of town and this place has just gotten better over time! Loved both stylists I saw (was there two separate times). There are many blow dry bars but going somewhere clean and professional is SO important for me. The atmosphere is relaxing and I appreciate the customer service. And can’t beat the value! Also brought my little cousin who is in high school and she and her friends were thrilled with the results and the price! Highly recommend.

Kira did an excellent job on my blow out. It held up to days of walking the strip in the heat like a champ. I would go to have her services again.

I want to start off by saying that my stylist, Keira, is awesome. She is sweet, talented and quick. If I was her, I would run as far away from this place as I could ASAP.
Thursday was the first time I“d been to Blow N Go. I had a great experience with Keira so I decided to come back today (Saturday) for another braid. My hair is washed and dry when I come in. I don’t get a wash and blow-​dry, just a braid, which is $ 15. Today, I wanted a crown braid with a messy bun. It took about 15 mins to do. As we were finishing up, Susanne (Susan?) the manager walked over and started critiquing Keira’s work/​my braid. Without even asking me, she told Keira that she needed to fix this and fix that, use more hairspray and so on. This wasn’t the look I was going for. I wanted it messy just like the picture, not like I was going to prom. I was very happy with it and told her this. If I was unhappy, I would have used my big girl words and said something. I also found it incredibly rude that she would chastise a stylist in front of their client/​on the floor (this wasn’t the only time she did it while I was there).
I left but came back a little later because one spot felt a little loose and I wanted to ask Keira if she could add a couple bobby pins to secure it. We went to her station and she told me that after I left she got in trouble because she didn’t charge me enough. She said her manager told her that next time to charge me $ 30. She apologized profusely for this. Honestly, I wasn’t happy about it but still planned on coming back because I loved my hair (both times) and how easy, convenient and fast it was. On my way out, Susanne (Susan?) the manager asked if she could talk to me. This is the part where Blow N Go, and unfortunately Keira, lost a client.
Susanne began to tell me that she heard me and Keira talking. I said she was telling me the new prices. She said Keira is new, is still learning and charged me wrong. Since I was there for 30 mins (nope) I should have been charged $ 30 and for an updo not a braid. $ 15 is for a simple long braid and mine was up (not entirely accurate). I said that’s not what the website states or what I was charged the last time I was in and it didn’t take her 30 mins to do my hair. She said from the time I walked in to the time I left it was 30 mins, they hadn’t changed things online yet and that she saw me on Thursday when I was there (if that’s true, why not tell me before Keira started my hair today that prices had changed?). She said maybe she could do $ 20 instead of $ 30 for me but Blow N Go is under new management and the owner told her if they don’t start charging more money for services they’re going to go out of business. She said she needs her job and doesn’t want to lose it. She actually asked me if I wanted everyone there to lose their jobs and how would I feel if that happened!!! She said Groupon is killing them and they can’t afford to charge so little. She said maybe when they get busier they can lower their prices (ha!). She then went on some tangent about losing $ 1000 on a vacation she was supposed to go on but had to cancel at the last minute because she had to manage the shop. At this point, I stopped her and told her that none of that was my business or problem and it was very unprofessional of her to tell me everything she just did. She apologized but told me she wanted me to know these things because she didn’t want me to leave mad. I told her I wasn’t and am not mad but think our conversation and the way she handled this situation was wrong and based on that, would not be back. She said ok have a nice day. Yeah.
News flash: airing your place of work’s dirty laundry, attempting to emotionally manipulate a customer, doubling the price of a regular customer’s service and openly critiquing employees is bad for business. Its a shame because this place has so much potential.

I came here through the groupon. Not a bad deal. Love the name. I got the blowout and asked for big volume. The hair wash very relaxing and my hair smelled great. They were short staffed for our group, but they made it work. My blowout was really quick and they used the brush to give my volume in curls. My hair came out very shiny and soft.
I kinda wish they used more hairspray since my locks fell flat by the end of the night.
But its always a fine line between strong hold and oversprayed crunchy hair.

I got bob hair and went in for a simple curl for an event, and comes out looking like I aged 10 years with a hair bomb… I don’t know if they don’t know how to curl or they just don’t care.

I had an appt for me and my daughter for a wedding that she was in. When I made the appt they told me who would be my stylists however when we got there they changed one of them. I still was ok with it. No big deal. But my daughters stylist, Mason, didn’t do anything close to what I had wanted her hair to look like. I showed him a pic just to give him an idea and I knew that it wouldn’t look exactly like the pic, (I’m realistic) I was very disappointed because it was no effort at all. He had to do it 3 times and because my stylist knew that we were disappointed, she went ahead and asked him to re-​do it. He did it and still bad. He didn’t even make her hair curly like the play n go pics. Her curls look like there were 1 day old. I probably could have done a better job by just washing it and air drying it! My stylist was Jacqueline (not the manager Jacqueline) she was very accommodating, not rushed, but I really wish she had more expertise in wing tip eye makeup. I liked how she curled my hair (curl n go). But my eye makeup looked too shaky and not professional. I guess It all depends on who is good with kids styles and who is really good with eye makeup and hoping that you will get that stylist.

This is the place to go for an amazing blowout. I had long, thick hair and a lot of it and all of the stylists here knew how to handle it and to make my hair look flawless. I would come in with a coconut oil mask on my hair and they always made sure to do a triple wash (if it was needed and per my request) to make sure it was washed out well. I will say some stylists provided a better scalp massage while washing, but the final product was always beautiful! I would get compliments everyday on how great my hair looked and I was lucky that I could preserve my blowout for over a week!
I haven’t tried out any other services like cut, color or makeup but for a fab blowout, this is the place to go! They also do great package deals that are worth it and never expire!

One of my favorite indulgences is a good blowout and BlowNGo is the best in Las Vegas! My blow out lasted an entire week with dry shampoo… Shop has fun atmosphere and all the stylists have great personalities! Totally love it!

Been here twice & each time I’ve had subpar customer service, the blow out was pretty good but it just felt like my stylists weren’t happy to be there. I would’ve liked an added scent but was never offered an option for one. Even if it’s a $ 35 blowout, I feel like you should make the customer feel like they’re getting a luxury experience.

Beautiful salon. Very friendly staff. My hair looked beautiful when I left but less than 30 minutes later what curl had been there was gone. I wanted the Big & Sexy style they offer but did not get that. I felt like I should and could have done the exact same thing to my hair myself. I felt very disappointed as it was done for my Christmas party. Maybe my expectations were too high. I believe in 2^nd chances and will most likely try again but I will be sure to let them know about my first experience.

Went in on Saturday to get a blow-​out with my mom. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to get is in on such short notice. The salon is very nice and modern, tucked away inside Village Square next to Viva Mercados. They took both my mom and I right away to wash our hair. I was happy that they had an aroma shot (which I love to use in my blow-​outs), but was very bummed out that they had ran out of my top; three favorite scents. It is a major pet peeve when an establishment is out of something, but keeps it on the menu. Especially a chalkboard menu, as was the case with this place, where they easily could remove the scents that they were out of. Not to mention that your ordering process should be such as you dont ever run out of a product.
My blow-​out was very quick. I asked for volume and received it. I just was not very impressed with the final product. My hair felt way shorter and I did not think the style suited my face. I did tell the stylist to use his discretion on what he felt looked best on me; however, I was not wowed by his choice. Two-​thumbs up for my mom’s blow-​out which looked amazing though!

Been there twice and Should have learned the first time I went the girls look like They don’t want to be there and I was not satisfied with my hair, second time I went it was an emergency and had my service dog with me and they refused me saying no dogs allowed. Disgraceful!!! DONT GO!

The girl who did my blow out (I can’t remember her name) was very friendly and nice and I had no issue with her personally whatsoever. But I came in with fairly new extensions (less than two weeks old), informed her that I had tape-​in extensions, and even mentioned to her again while I was getting shampooed that I have extensions and to be careful with them. She assured me that she was certified in extensions and she knew what she was doing with them. She was quite rough with my hair during the appointment but I figured it was because the time was going so long (almost 2 hours) and that she was being careful enough with my hair since she said she was certified in them.
Upon leaving the salon and sitting down at dinner and touching my hair, I found 3 very obvious tapes completely separated in my hair and had to remove them myself. It was very clear to everyone there as well. It was quite easy, they had been pulled on so much that they were falling out entirely without much nudging. Upon further inspection, many many more of my extensions were slipping and the adhesive was either no longer holding or completely separated.
I had to have them all removed, which was very upsetting since I couldn’t get the money or time that I’d spent on them back. I hadn’t had any issues with them until that point and I’d washed, dried, and styled the hair multiple times. I believe there must have been a product applied that degraded the adhesive along with the strong pulling done on her part and that these two components caused them to all fall out.
My hair stylist was shocked and appalled that this happened at all.
I informed Blow N. Go that this occurred as I do not believe its fair to write negative reviews about businesses without allowing them the opportunity to rectify the situation, to which their response was an offering of 2 free services at Blow N. Go (approx. $ 70 according to my own math.)
While I do appreciate the small gesture, it doesn’t get me back the money (over $ 700) that I spent on the hair and having it placed, nor the time spent having them done and the difficulty in having to have them removed over the weekend just to be able to leave the house. I know that the stylist didn’t intentionally do it, but she didn’t know what she was doing with my hair, and should have been upfront with me regarding her inexperience with hair extensions. I could have then informed her of every detail of care for them or decided at that point not to have a blowout there at all, but she did not give me that opportunity since she claimed to know what she was doing.

I went here today to have a braid for my sons bday! they took me right in even though I’m 45 mins early. janee did my hair in less than 10
mins and I love it! the fee was only 5 $ and they have some computer issue and they end up doing my hair for free! so cool. the staff was awesome and they are very accomodating.

Janee is the most FANTASTIC hair coloriest !! I moved from California almost 10 Years ago and have never found a hair /​color stylist compare to the ones in California, until now! I just got my hair colored and highlighted and the color is so vibrate and natural looking. If you’re a Calfornia girl and has had the worst time finding the the perfect hair stylist, I definitely recommend Janee! Janee is a mix between a Vidal Sassoon and a Paul Mitchell stylist which stays up to date with all of the current styles and colors! Definitely going back to see Janee!

Blow and Go is truly an awesome spot! I just saw Melissa and she did the best «Curl and Go»! I was very hesitant walking in as my hair can be difficult (for me at least). I showed the lovely Melissa 4 pictures of what I was hoping for and what she did was better than I had imagined! Great tight curls that will last for my trip to NYC!
You can’t beat the price. $ 35 for a complete wash and blow out and style. Thursday afternoons they offer a 15% discount. If you come with your hair already washed and blown it’s only $ 25. I say go for the wash as you get a great head and neck massage! It was the best part of my day. So relaxing!
What’s also nice about this place is the location. It’s on the NW corner of Sahara and Ft Apache. Very easy access and parking was a breeze! It’s a very comfortable store. Love the ambiance, cool white colors! Can’t wait to come back

I came in looking so tired and walk out looking gorgeous. feel pretty! Oh so pretty!!! I just walked out with the BEST blowout EVER.
Sarita, Malisa and Alahandra are my girls, and round brush curls and the best makeup are their game. I had the best time during my services chatting with the girls. They are all so smiley and full of life.
There’s nothing like leaving a beautiful salon feeling beautiful.

I love them!!! I called and made an appointment the same day. Melissa washed, blew dried my hair, clipped my extensions with the help of another nice young lady (I am sorry I forgot your name doll), but they were so awesome and sweet! I have found a reasonable, nice and clean place where I will come and get a quick fix of my hair!

New in town, so I’m looking for new places for hair, nails, dry cleaners, etc. I found Blow N Go on Unilocal,called and they were able to see me within 20 minutes. Granted, it was a Tuesday morning, and I called 30 minutes after they opened for the day. Showed Sarita a picture of me from my last blowout, and she came pretty close to it.
The salon was clean, and welcoming. The staff was friendly and thorough. I came away from the experience quite satisfied, and will go back again.
