Terrible. I called to get support with the start of building my pool, to hire them to initially instead start with the utility install. First the salesman cut me off while I was talking because he thought he knew what I was going to say, going off on some tangent. After letting him talk for a minute, I chimed in and said, your getting ahead of me, if you allow me to finish my sentence, you would understand what I am asking for”. He then said, ok… and allowed me to talk only to shortly tell me he was not interested. I said, so your not interested in being a part of my pool build? And he said, no we’re not. Ok. That is amazing to me!!! This is how you get business? I wasn’t surprised when I read the bad reviews in Unilocal

Great company. Geoff is really great and he stayed on top of things. Our pool was built in the timeframe promised. Go Blue Haven!!! Go Geoff!!!
We love our spa in the winter and will enjoy our beautiful pool in the summer!!!

Don’t waste your time. This is the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had in Las Vegas. We scheduled an appointment to get a quote for a pool and spa. 10 minutes before our appointment, Dennis calls to say that he is having car trouble and can’t make it. When asked when he would be able to reschedule, he said he would call us back in a few minutes but never did. We called their office to ask if someone else could come out. Dennis calls back and says he will throw in a free ozone system but doesn’t reschedule. The next morning he calls back and asks if he can come by. Better late than never… right? Wrong. He shows up and is very jittery and nervous. He talks trash about the competition and seems very confused. I can’t confirm that thee were drugs or alcohol in play here, but he definitely acted impaired in some way. We come back the following week for our design appointment. He looks shocked to see us and literally looks at us like he has never seen us before. He looks up our address. Nothing. He looks up our name. Nothing. Awkward silence as he is furiously clicking his mouse. He obviously did not create the design. We are texting about what we should do next as he starts to create the design as we sit there. But wait… he has to get a map of our property first. We get up to walk out. He says nothing. I tell him we are leaving, and he says he is going to walk us out. He then proceeds to try and show us pool finishes!!! I reiterate that we are leaving as he stands there in silence as we walk to our car. Yeah. I’d love to drop $ 50k with these clowns. How have they stayed in business? The overall experience was disturbing. I wish someone had warned us before wasting our time. I wish I could zero stars.

We did our homework and had 2 other estimates from pool companies, before we called Blue Haven out for an on site meet and greet. Geoff was the only salesman that not only explained each step of the process but did it in great detail. Blue Haven was also the only company that actually designed the pool to give my guests the maximum WOW factor when entering my home. We could tell that he was much more than just a salesman, It wasn’t long before I asked Geoff if he had been an actual pool installer. His suggestions were more then just salesmens advise, we could tell that his experience came from years of installing pools. Geoff also saved us a lot money by agreeing to use our existing Quartzite stone. We chose to built in the winter, and have been using the hot tub for over 2 weeks now. Everyone at Blue Haven was a pleasure to work with. They were here when they told us they would be, so the pool stayed on schedule or should I say ahead of schedule because they actually finished one month early! I can’t believe how many new neighbors that I have meet, because our gated subdivision doesn’t allow signs, the neighbors have been coming over to inquire on the builders name and to watch the progress, and they have even been taking lots of pictures. Needless to say they are all very impressed with Blue Haven! I only wish I could send pictures along with this review. A massive hot tub and 3 waterfalls with inset boulders make the pool absolutely Gorgeous, and me a very Happy Customer!

DO NOT USE THIS POOL COMPANY! they are a disaster, worst service, owner doesnt care about his clients, manager is just as unorgnaized and useless, sales people will tell you how busy they are and their product is just as crappy as their service. It will take you over 100 phone calls to get a pool installed by them and you will end up resolving half your issues on your own because they still wont do what they say they are going to do.

This company is such a JOKE!!! We have had nothing but issues with our pool and they don’t seem to care. THey are a bunch of old people, with no urgency and once they sell you your pool they wipe their hands clean of you. Dave was our sales guy and he is beyond terrible. He promises all these things and then doesn’t follow through with it. I have already reported this company to the BBB. Stay FAR FAR away from Blue Haven, Worst mistake we ever made was to buy a pool from them. OUr spa still doesn’t even work properly, our auto fill is broke and our pool equipment sounds like it is going to explode! We have had Richard out 5+ times to fix it and it STILL isn’t fixed and it has been alomst a year! We still haven’t even been able to use our spa, because it doesn’t heat up! Seriously, whats the point of having a spa then!!! What a JOKE!!!

Don’t use Blue Haven to build your pool! We were left in the dark about so many steps in this process. They told us it would take about 3 months to build our pool and it took about 4.5 months. The guy hired by Blue Haven to build our rock structures & slide took his sweet time. Blue Haven didn’t seem to care. I had to call Blue Haven at almost every step of the process to ask what was scheduled next because we would go a week or two sometimes without seeing any progress. As soon as I called there was something scheduled. We picked out a plaster color from their sample pool outside of their office. We were never told that there was a color name for this plaster nor did we know what the color looked like before there was water on it in a pool. The plaster color apparently looks NOTHING like the end result and it looks absolutely NOTHING like the color in their sample pool! They refuse to fix our plaster color. I feel that we were misled and now my pool looks nothing like what we intended. Also, the landscaper that was recommended by Blue Haven has not returned my calls or replaced our 4 dead plants. He also shorted us on two path lights that we paid for. Their customer service is a joke. Elaine doesn’t understand anything and takes DAYS to get back with us. The owner of Blue Haven needs to take a serious look at his business! There are plenty of other pool builders in Vegas, don’t even bother getting a quote with this one!

Had a pool put in by Blue Haven 3 years ago or was it 4. Throughout the process Blue Haven did what they said they would do. Contractors showed up on time, everything was done in a timely manner, all permits were pulled, subs did their work and cleaned up after themselves, nothing was damaged (that i couldnt fix) and job was completed when they said it would be. I liked their pricing and how they show you how each item (water feature, seats, extra deck, extra pool edge, solar heater) costs. This was the second company that I got a price from. The first seemed to prettty much pull a price out of thin air. Blue Haven, shows you your completed pool with the help a computer program and then gives you a price with everything listed. They also guarantee most of their equipment for 7 years and some items for life (not sure what that means in dog years, but its nice to know) In the end, both companies were pretty much the same price, just felt more comfortable with Blue Haven. The designer I worked with, Dave, was very nice, friendly and helpful. Once its done and your swimming, you have a support number to call in case something does goofy.
In the time since its been done, Ive had some problems but only a few. My deck has cracked (over a hole they dug to bury their construction debris). They came out and fixed it. It cracked again in the same area, I called again but they never showed up. Ive also had 2 leaks on my solar panels (but that was done by a sub of theirs so they cant be held to accountable). One fixed itself (sealed by the salt water of the pool) and the other was fixed by one of Santas elves last christmas). Oh, I also have a small leak inside the water feature (thats right, inside) Haven’t called on that yet but I suspect Ill have to do that one myself. Overall I was happy and recommend them.
