New to Las Vegas and needed some fixtures replaced in kitchen and bath, 3 total. Plumber didn’t have on hand what I wanted but he did order it and returned at the end of the week to install. I am thrilled with the lifetime warranty on the fixtures if anything would go wrong in the future. Plumber gave me a full home inspection while he was here and showed me some rust on my water heater and some old fittings behind the toilet, but there was no pressure to get the work done. I would use them again.

Just now had a new garbage disposal installed. Butter plumbing did the old one, their sticker was on it.
The installer stated that it wasn’t installed correctly. It rusted out and he was shocked that I didn’t get a lot of leaks under my sink. Very rarely used it. Have a house full of contractors now as we are remodeling. Each one that comes in & sees the disposal on the floor, says WOW who installed that. haha HIGH PRICED AND INCOMPETENT.

Years ago when I lived behind 2 gates, these clowns charged me $ 189.00 for service call. Moved to a single gate community and my price went down.
Shawn denied he did this, Keep all related bills to every house I have ever owned till 3 years after sale. He would never tell me to fax or send him copies. Shawn knew dang well he did, go to your book keeper. Guess he lives in the what he doesn’t see, didn’t happen. Went to AmEx to see if I could get a refund cause of his denial. Too much time had past.
One time in the house behind two gates, I had 3 toilets that had water running issues. There were so many bathrooms in this house and these three were in areas we didn’t use, I just shut off the toilets, till we had several issues we could handle at once. Remember the $ 189.00 service call, I wasn’t going to pay that often!
The technician who came out had the audacity to say to me, you are suppose to call for service every time you have a problem. Not wait till you have several. WTF! I said well, I could choose to call someone else, Where do you think he learned this behavior and thought this was an appropriate way to treat a customer?
I did a review in these clowns on Angies list. Please go look at it, its classic. Shawn had called me, offering a discount on a future call. No way were these people getting anymore business from me.

Received contact from Shawn. Rambling about he hasn’t done a recent install for me, No joke. Have not had you back in 10 years. Even when you offered me a discount through Angie’s List a few years ago. He’d have to refund me the 2 gates penalty he charged me for 5 years. Yeah I told my friends & neighbors living behind 2 gates about this.
No denial about anything I posted. Told him I have the disposal with his Butter plumbing sticker on it. Offered it to him, so he could see it. No response.
So much for a warranty I guess. Since you aren’t honoring you word about life time warranty, I’ll be reporting you to BBB. And might see you in small claims. NO INTEGRITY!

The technician sent to assist me with my issue at my office, Chris, seem more like a car salesperson (or like the person working in the finance department at a car dealership trying to sell an extended warranty or nitrogen in the tires). I was first quoted the $ 99.99 service fee and another $ 55.00 if he could simply fix the PVC pipe that was leaking. He cut the pipe and removed the value (breaking off the pipe flush with the value). So, very quickly I was told I needed a new value and more of the PVC pipe replaced, with a new quote of $ 520.00 with a 10% discount because «I am a nice quy» (and we are only talking about 6 inches to be replaced with the original quote and two feet of PVC pipe replaced and the value with the new quote). Since my yard was flooding I reluctantly agreed to have the work done. It took him less that one hour from the time he arrived to the time the job was done ($ 468.00). The next afternoon the pipe was leaking again. I called the company and was first told that a $ 99.00 service fee would be charged, and when I explained again that their repair was leaking they «seemed» to agree that no fee would be charged. When Chris arrived at my office, before he even saw the leak he said, «My boss told me to never listen to the customer, and I should not have listened to you about the main water shut off for the building. There was a bit of water still running when I fixed the leak last night and that is what probably caused the problem.» When I inquired if he was blaming me for the problem he started to back track. Then, when he inspected the leak he told me that it was from a different place in the pipe that was «preexisting,» and that the «new» leak was not his responsibility (although he replaced all but about 3 inches of the original PVC pipe, even though he told me when he did the original work that the entire pipe would last for years.) Then he said, «but if you need I could fix it.» I told him to leave my property. In my opinion I would not ever use this company.

We just moved in and needed some small things done. We asked for quotes on water softeners and good a quick response. Due to the age of the house (about 20) some things were not done to code. Long story short, Chris our repair person, had to do extra manual labor to get the system installed. Mr. Shawn Butter, the owner, upgraded our unit at no additional charge and no extra service fees. The customer service was excellent from office staff, repair person and the owner! Never have I had such a great experience! Thank you!

Charged me $ 65 for a service call estimate only to find an estimate of $ 504 to install a water softener. Wrong! Had it done by another plumber for $ 250 later the same day. Make sure you get an estimate by phone B4 the plumber comes out. Butter would not provide a phone estimate. There are more reasonable plumbing services in the valley.

Butter installed a RO Water system. The two men were polite, extremely knowledgeable while clearly explaining the function and operation of the system. They were very conscious of keeping my home neat and the entire area was covered with plastic while working on the RO project. Once the RO system was installed they checked all the basins, toilets and water heater to be sure all were in working order.
They are required to wear booties a requirement all companies should follow when working in your home.
I am impressed with the overall professionalism of their work and arriving on-​time as agreed. Outstanding job and I will not hesitate to have them back should I require plumbing in the future.

Butter Plumbing fixed our shower problem today and the difference is amazing! Everything was explained to us beforehand and they did exactly what they said they would do. They called 20 minutes before arriving (so we could put the dogs out), and even used booties over their shoes!
We used them once before for a problem with a pool pump and jacuzzi that was not functioning in a house we just purchased. Two other companies couldn’t figure out what was wrong — Butter Plumbing fixed everything and put it in perfect working order. We will call them again with any plumbing need!

Overpriced, the Neiman Marcus of plumbing companies. Call someone else. Don’t waste your time with Butter.

I would not use these guys. First thing they did when came out was very aggressively go over the prices. They charge a driver charge of $ 65 dollars then try to get a diagnostic charge of $ 165. I had 2 lantern lights not working and they wanted to charge 2 diagnostic charges. They also showed up 45 minutes late. They then missed calling tech support because they got to my home late. They came back on Monday and tried collecting additional fees. I could not believe the nerve of these guys. The owner of the company said tech support closed at 1 pm ESt. Well I caLLED TECH SUPPORT AND THEY CLOSED 430 PM PST. I CALLED and left that message with Sean the owner. He called me back and said I was wrong and hung up. What a child. I’d urge everyone to go elsewhere for better customer service and adult like ownership and not kids.
