Camp Bow Wow Las Vegas

A truly dog friendly place with staff who seem to care about animals. My only regret is that I do not live in Vegas because if I did, I would most certainly take my dog here to interact and socialize with other pooches. Great alternative for people who do not like to leave their pets at home alone during the day.
As a bonus they even have a smartphone app whereby you can select any one of their multiple cameras and monitor your dog from afar.

Camp Bow Wow helped me feel at ease for dropping my dog off for a free interview day. Everyone was so friendly! I love the Web cams to check in on them in the play area. Vala was so happy and she did so well!

I had to leave town for a week for work and was very worried about leaving my poor 2 year old pooch alone. What sealed the deal for me with Camp Bow Wow was their webcam which I can watch through an app on my iPhone. It’s live streamed and I could watch him from New Mexico from my phone all day (my coworkers were very impressed!)! There are multiple cameras in multiple rooms (you can watch from their website even if you don’t have a dog boarded) but the dogs usually stay inside where it’s cooler. There is usually a human in there with them too, and the dogs tend to just play with themselves. It really put my mind at ease that I can check in anytime and watch my dog have fun with his friends.

I used to love this place, but they messed up my pups meals a couple of times and now I don’t go much anymore. Still, the customer service was pretty good and the grooming was phenomenal. Had they not messed the meals up, I would still attend. However, I do not wish to go to a place that can’t follow basic instructions. My boy came home very hungry on multiple occasions. I love being able to watch my dogs play on the cameras.

Like Play area divided into small dog and large dog area. Also like having both indoor and outdoor area. Staff seems to be very caring. However, it would be nice if some areas of the indoor play area were carpeted in cold weather so dogs could sit or lie down instead of having to stand for so long because sitting on cold concrete is uncomfortable.

Received clarification from my first review when I called back and I was very pleased with their customer service. We tried Camp Bow Wow a second time this past weekend and had an awesome experience. My dog is shy but the staff at Camp Bow Wow did an excellent job watching her and gauging her stress levels to ensure she was relocated when things became too overwhelming. As with most pet parents I’m very concerned about who I leave my dog with and I have confidence in Camp Bow Wow’s staff they always have Mango’s best interests in mind.
Bumping their rating up to 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Was in Vegas for a 24 hr visit. Camp Bow Wow took our reservation the day before, and the whole process was fantastic. Our 2 10-​lb terrier mixes were a bit scared going to the camp without us, but we checked in on them on a regular basis (via webcam that you can download through the camp app), and they seemed very happy when we picked them up.
Nice staff, easy process, peace of mind (due to webcam), and reasonable prices.
Will come back again!

This place is AWESOME! They really go out of their way to take care of your dog! It’s not just a place where you know you’re dog will be taken care of and fed, I actually feel like they care for your dog and will take care of them while you’re away.

Took my puppy Prince here. Found this place after going on our walks. I can’t express how happy I was when I found them. The price is great! They also have an app you can download to watch your pup at any time. The customer service is outstanding. Prince loves this place and so do we :) recommend to any dog owners. Such a great affordable way to socialize your puppy

I take my 9 lb Maltese, Cali, here anytime I go out of town. They take really good care of her and she’s always happy and exhausted when I pick her up to go home. I love the fact they have streaming cameras that I can watch on my phone at any time. Highly recommend if you’re concerned about your pet being treated with TLC while you’re on vacation!

This is more a 3.5 and a preliminary review for the evaluation day only. The staff is incredibly warm and affirming from the moment you walk in the door. You get the feeling they really love dogs and that’s a huge PLUS.
My dog passed the evaluation test but I wasn’t able to see her on the webcam the entire day because she was relocated from the play room to the teacup room for quiet time. I would have liked to be informed that she was isolated from the other dogs because we left her there for 8 hours and would have pulled her from Camp Bow Wow earlier had we known she was alone the entire time.
An updated review to follow once we have more experiences to go on.

We were visiting Vegas for a wedding and boarded our shih tzu for the weekend. We loved being able to watch him on the doggy cam during play time, but wish there were more cameras for their sleeping quarters. We opted to add a full groom and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. I am considering traveling to Vegas every time he needs a groom so that he will continue to receive such stellar cuts! Bravo! The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is because there are just so many dogs in the kennels over night without any attendant. My fur baby is spoiled and needs lots of love and affection. It nearly tore my heart out knowing that he was alone all night but he was absolutely fine and happy when I picked him up. Will definitely return.

My Shiba loves going to daycare. She is very social and loves playing all day while we work. They are very aware of Shiba traits and do their best when she gets in a mood. The location is 2 blocks from my work, so I can drop her off before I go in and pick her up when I get off.
Complaints are picking her up takes time and there is always a line since there is one person who has to check the dog out, then go get the dog. It would be nice if there was one person to check out and one to get the dogs. Also, when they do call us, they call my husband who cannot have his phone at work, when I always tell them to call me since I can get her. I wish they had real grass and not AstroTurf but that’s just my preference.
Overall a nice place to drop your dog off for the day.

Can’t say enough how much I love this place! I love that you can see your dog on camera. I had my mini schnauzer groomed here and she looks amazing! You can take a tour and get a free day of dog camp! The hours are great 0700 to 1900! So great!

Can not say enough really good things about this place — the staff is so nice and helpful — they really want you to feel comfortable about your pet being in good hands — I love the feature that enables me to watch my little fella on TV — very conveniently located — definitely will patron this place every time I come to Vegas

Gave them very simple but specific instructions on how to feed my dog for an overnight stay. They understood and repeated the instructions to me. Came to pickup the dog in the morning and they didn’t give her half of her food and were surprised when she didn’t eat much. All I wanted was for them to mix kibble and wet food, but they didn’t want to open the can of wet food I provided.

We have a time-​share in LV and decided that we would visit it and thought we’d try taking our dog with us to see how she did on a long road trip plus by using a local facility, she would be over-​nighting one day less. I found Camp Bow Wow through Unilocal and was very happy with my choice. From check in to check out, they were caring (took a photo of her upon arrival for documentation) You could view your dog during the day with their doggie cams. It is a one price deal. Overnight with doggie day care during the day. many places you have to pay a price for overnight and a price for any exercise, otherwise they get stuck in a cage all day. Not here. A very brilliant business plan. All dogs play, all dogs are happy and probably sleep well at night time, plus by all of them out of their cages, gives them time to clean up and sanitize… quite brilliant and caring. I had a full update upon check out. It was simply great! Can’t say enough about them!

The weekend before last we took our three furbabies for their orientation and took a tour of the «camp». It was very clean, did not smell like dog which really surprised me and the staff was nice. I love being able to watch on the cameras. That make a huge difference to me.
This last weekend we left them for a short trip so they spent all day Saturday and Sunday there. They came home very, very tired and from watching on the cameras I can see why. They constantly played and engaged with the dogs and you can see the staff always cleaning up after the dogs immediately. I also noticed the girl with short hair that was in the smalls that she would often bend down and pet heads and scratch ears which I liked. They did tell me they had ate all of their food but came home with almost all of the food I had sent. Being away from home I didn’t expect them to eat their food though.
Two of my three dogs had received a bath when I showed up. I was early so I took them without the 3^rd getting her bath and she did not smell as bad as I thought she would compared to other places I had tried in the past.
My only concern which will possibly make me look around is no one is there from 7:30 pm until 6:30 pm. That is a long time for the dogs to be left alone. They said the reason is if someone is there the dogs know it and don’t sleep as well. My concern is if the place caught on fire or someone broke in the dogs would not have a chance no matter how many alarms are set up for Metro or the fire department. That is truly my only concern with the Camp Bow Wow.
If you are ok with that then this is a really good place with a lot of cameras and interaction with the furbabies.

I feel comfortable with leaving my dog with Camp Bow Wow because I can tell he loves it. The fact that there are cameras there so I can check in if I’m missing my little guy is awesome. In the past, I’ve checked in a few times and have seen Fitz curled up on an employee’s lap getting pets. I can tell that he’s happy and enjoying himself. When we drop him off, he always goes straight to the door for the play area and doesn’t even look back! I can tell your employees love dogs and that is important to me. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow to every dog owner I meet.

Great prices, great places for your pooch to hang while you’re in Las Vegas. Our dogs who have anxiety, did awesome during their two day stay. We opted to do the bath (only $ 10) after their stay. The returned happy, healthy & clean — what more could a pooch mama ask for?

Went to a tournament and couldn’t take the dog. She was there for 2 days. I felt very comfortable leaving her. They were very friendly and sweet because my LuLu was scared. Its clean and it was very professional. I would recommend highly

This place is Great! I did not want to leave my dog in our room all day alone and this was the perfect place. Great price for day care and also great price for a doggy wash.
Someone here on Unilocal recommended the exit bath and we did that and it was well worth it! The other super great thing is through out the day I could see how my dog was doing on their doggy cams! I’d check often and was happy to see my dog’s tail wagging pretty much the whole time!

Convenient location close to the strip — good prices considering that the hotels in the area that do allow dogs want to charge you an arm and a leg for them to stay with you.
Instead of going through all of that, we dropped our guy off here where he could be safe and enjoy days of playing with dogs and nighttime in a clean kennel.
They have an app where you can check the webcams and see how your pup is doing. I didn’t think I was that kind of person, but it’s kind of nice to be able to touch base and see that, yes, he’s doing fine.
We opted for the exit bath — which I highly rec if they’re staying overnight. You get your pup smelling fresh and clean instead of smelling like other dogs.
Definitely would come back the next time we come to Vegas with our dog.

Dog parents don’t come any more neurotic than me. That’s a fact. So, needless to say, I pondered bringing my little nugget here for quite a while before I worked up the nerve. What the heck was I waiting for?! Camp Bow Wow is a doggie wonderland! There are tons of other dogs to play with and «counselors» watching them non-​stop. Prices are reasonable and it is money well spent.
Your first day care session is free. Camp Bow Wow has a little interview process (lasts about 20 minutes) to determine if your dog is camper material, meaning not going to crap its Huggies around a gaggle of other canines. My maniac passed with flying colors and we were on our way very quickly. We then got to watch him on the camper cam on Camp Bow Wow’s website (or the app if you download it to your smartphone). This really provided a lot of assurances and reduced my paranoia. haha. I let him stay for 7 hours and he did not want to leave when I picked him up. The staff is very friendly and genuinely enjoy dogs. Atticus French will be a regular at doggie day camp because he gets really lonely and I can’t afford another Frenchie. We are boarding him for the first time this weekend and I am slightly less freaked out knowing he will be in capable hands! Highly recommended!

My dog loves to play with other dogs at Camp Bow Wow. We like the place because we can watch our dog via the cameras and there’s always staffs walking around in the playroom during daycare. My dog sleeps like she’s dead every time coming home from Camp Bow Wow
We don’t know much about the nighttime/​bedtime due to the cameras will be off, but we know that our dog will be safe as we have boarded our dog a couple of time when we went on vacations. You can also ask the staff to show you the inside where the dogs sleep and play. Overnight boarding was a bit expensive but we think it’s worth it as we don’t have to worry about our dog while we were on vacation.

This place is great! I’ve been bringing Bruce (my French Bulldog) here on occasion ever since he turned 4 months.
They know my dog by name. I always see that there is a person around in the dog play areas, cleaning and playing with the dogs. Also I like how the dogs are separated by size. It can get pretty full but there is definitely enough space for them to run around or just lay down and lounge.
The baths are great too and very inexpensive compared to other goomers.

My husband and I had to go on a business trip to Vegas and our dog sitter was unavailable so we decided to take our furkid with us. I was a bit stressed out because I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. I Unilocaled doggie daycare and I found this place. From the moment I walked in the staff was so friendly and the facility was clean. I absolutely LOVE this place! At the end of the day my furkid was exhausted and happy. I would recommend it to anyone that needs doggie daycare. Thank you Camp Bow Wow!

Very clean facility! I brought my dog here a few days ago and he loved it. My favorite part was watching him on my iPhone with the Camp Bow Wow camera app. Too cool! They also gave me a camper bag that was filled with coupons and dog food to take home. I will definitely be dropping my pup off here more often!

I bring my dog here when I come to Vegas since pups aren’t allowed on the strip. It’s cage free and he gets to run around and play with other dogs. They have various rooms the dogs play in, and there are cameras so you can spy on your pups while you’re away (I think you have to pay for an app to see, though). They do a nice job bathing the dogs too, if you select that, so they go home looking and smelling nice and clean. It’s a little pricey but it’s a cute place.

After doing a bit of research, I decided to try out Camp Bow Wow. I was very concerned about my dog and where he would be staying while I went on vacation for a week. The staff spent some time talking with me on my initial visit without my dog. I asked tons of questions and was shown the areas where the pups are kept.
What I really liked was being able to watch or as I like to say «spy» on my dog pretty much all day while he went for his initial daycare visit which is required prior to boarding to observe your dogs temperament and behavior with other dogs. At the end of the day, when we picked my dog up he had a report card with information of what he did and a short evaluation of his behavior.
So I decided to board him when I went on vacation. It was great being able to check in on him from time to time, especially the first few days. My dog also got some training while he was boarded. Those training sessions all had reports on them which had information of what was reviewed. The first night I had my pup back we tried out some of his obedience training and he did awesome we could already see the difference. I was very happy with how much calmer he has become after his short stay at Camp Bow Wow. Though it was a bit pricey to board and train it was definitely worth it!!!
