I lived 23 years in Vegas, then 14 in Huntington Beach and have now been home in Vegas for a year. I’ve been to no less than 25 stylists during that whole time and each time have walked out so disappointed that I cried. THEN I went to JAMIE GALATI at SWANK HAIR SALON inside CANYON FALLS (10 050 S Eastern Ave #120, Henderson, NV 89 052). OMG!!! She «got» me! She came up with coloring for my hair that was perfect; a cut that was absolutely THE best (and easiest!) and knew exactly what I needed… I’m hooked! Every two weeks for a trim; every four weeks for color; and I’m a totally new woman… Short, medium or long — Jamie understands what you need and it doesn’t take an hour of talking for her to ‘get it’… If you want THE best cut; THE best color — call Jamie! She’s got me as a client for life!!! THANK YOU, JAMIE!!!

If I could give it zero stars I would. I used to come here and saw a stylist Katie, she is nice but cannot get your color right, every time I’d come in for roots or highlights the color wouldn’t be the same. And I would be there for 3 to 4hrs she also couldn’t switch my daughters colored red hair (that she did) back to warm blond. She cut all the red out at the end cause she was so frustrated. She says she is giving you a break in her pricing, I think she would do this so she wouldn’t feel bad about not knowing what the hell she’s doing or always arriving so late for her appointments, like 20−50min! Every time I made an appointment I’d have to clear my whole day cause I never knew how late she was. In reality she cannot color. What she can do is style hair that’s about it.
Also got a perm here by some other lady and she burnt my hair! I had to pull teeth to get my money back. This place is a joke! I do not come here anymore for years now and I have to say where I do go to get the right color & highlights every time and fast is Valerie at Ulta, she’s a master colorist & stylist, no messing around she’s gets it right. Oh and she also fixed my daughters hair from Katie’s mess she made!

If you’re in the market for extensions I have used them for years and years and thought I would try Canyon Falls the worst hair ever!!!
Just like the lady said in the other review it tingles like crazy it’s absolutely horrible.
I care for my hair very carefully I only have a hairdresser wash it and blow dry I never do it myself… even my hair dresser grease the worst place ever to get extensions!!!
Save your MONEY
PS I even went and talked to them before I posted this review and show them the hair and they just were in denial.

Thanks Lora Boudreaux you really did an amazing job on my eye brows! So after reading many reviews on esthetics I decided loras were all very positive an everyone was very please with all there services an highly recommend her. I sent her a text she responded very promptly we set a appointment for the next afternoon I arrived 10min early sent her a text as there was no receptionist she came right out. She is very welcoming makes you feel relaxed asks how you would like your eyebrows shaped my eyebrows are very thick an not much of an arch but let me tell you by the time I walked out I had an arch I was very happy an it was pain free she uses hard wax not those strips that rip your skin off! I would definitely recommend her an for sure I’m a repeat customer!

So this review is for Lora Boudreaux, a waxer at Canyon Falls.
I came here because, after a glowing recommendation from my friend, I purchased the Brazilian and Eyebrow wax on Groupon. I think it came out to 28 $. A bargain. My friend also gave me her number and told me she texts.
I’m kind of socially awkward so text is good, I come off better in text. I make sure the number matches the one found in her groupon (it did), and began to text her to schedule an appointment. Super easy, very professional. She even texted morning day of to confirm. Loved it. Bonus, when there was no receptionist (which I think is the «fault» of the spa itself, which seems to be home to more independent contractors for nails, wax, what have you), I was able to text her and have her come get me– I would not have known where to go otherwise.
She was just as my friend described, «mom like.» Round, late thirties/​early forties, blonde, super nice. Made the whole thing very stress free. She was even amazing at making me feel LESS embarrassed when I told her I had been at the doctor earlier and may be spotting. Totally mom like. None of it felt super weird or awkward.
And this came with an eye brow shaping. My eye brows are on point. On fleek if you will. That’s what the kids are saying now, right?
Bought the value pack afterwards, 4+1 waxes for 100 $. 4 waxes, plus a facial/​another wax/​a third option I can’t remember. I tipped 10% on the future (making a base tip and I plan to always have cash) and tipped 15 $ cash for today’s services.
It was less painful than expected. The «hard wax» (as opposed to strips) does a very good job. The difficult part will be not shaving, but if it’s just those few hairs I think I can manage. Plus I can text Lora if I have any questions.
Looking forward to going back.

I was a little nervous to try a facial peel, since the only product I ever use on my face is DOVE soap. However, I was having some itchy, dry patches around my mouth and nose and a friend told me that I should try a peel. I made an appointment with Andra and told her my fears of breaking out, and also of my issues. She recommended a Vitamin C peel, layered with pumpkin with a vitamin c infused gel mask. This would nourish and hydrate my skin without being too harsh. When I arrived, I was impressed with the salon and spa. Andra’s room was very clean and organized. The bed was warm, and soft, and I was immediately relaxed. While the gel mask did its thing, I was treated to an incredible neck massage. When she was finished, my skin felt smooth and hydrated. I felt refreshed, and I would definitely recommend Andra’s services to my friends.

Had a Groupon for Victoria Bell, 1 process Hair color. First of all, Ms. Bell knows color! She had me come in the day before so she could see what was going on with my hair and form a game plan. She advised me next time to call before buying the groupon and she would honor the price instead of having it go to groupon. Ms. Bell is super nice and sweet. Felt taken care of and got stares walking out of the salon.

Just a nice all around salon & spa. The staff is always very friendly, it’s clean, good selection of product and they offer just about every service you could ask for from hair, hair extensions, nails, massage, skincare and aesthetics. I see Bri for eyelash extensions! She is amazing. She listens to exactly what you want and takes her time giving you just that. I have also had her do my brows as well as a chemical peel for my skin. She was so good at picking out the right peel for my skin type and was very educated on the product and told me what to expect after. She is so easy to talk to and I genuinely look forward to my appointments. She has mastered the perfect balance of being professional and thorough in her services as well making sure you feel comfortable and are full entertained whether it be 100% relaxed during your facial or having a blast talking and laughing the entire time. They always have specials running so don’t hesitate to check it out!

Where to start!
I purchased the Groupon for three services: mani/​pedi, massage and facial. I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled time. Up first was my mani. The girl was nice, but I can honestly paint my nails better myself (see photo). She also used her saliva to «repair» polish, which I thought was extremely unsanitary. I guess the mani/​pedi was supposed to last 2 hours. The technician finished in 50 minutes and brought me back to a waiting room. After seeing several people be called, I went up to the front and asked what the issue was. It wasn’t until then that they informed me that the nail technician finished early and the esthetician had not arrived.
Saliva and over an hour of unnecessary waiting. Never again! If you’re looking for a day of relaxation, try the I Lakemead location or Massage Envy.

So I came here recommended by my hair stylist Jackie from tease boutique she told me they sold amazing hair so I always trust her and decided to go to canyon falls. I spent over 400 $ on hair extensions. The Virgin hair Brazilian bundle it felt amazing that first 3 wks and after it started shedding and the tangling was crazy!!! My stylist even admitted the hair was terrible. It got knotted like a spider web I kid you not! The hair lasted me 2 months ! 400 $ in the drain! I won’t speak on the other hair extension but the virgin hair extension they have are beyond shitty so save your money.

I’m very very disappointed at the customer service at this place. I would never go back based on my experience. I purchased a Groupon for two people to take my mom to get a mani/​pedi for Mother’s Day. I called a day before to make the appointment. I was very specific when I said I had purchased two & I provided them with BOTH Groupon codes & my phone number. When we showed up I checked in at the front with Liz, the receptionist. I was with my mom & everything was ok. The lady doing my nails was going to do my mom’s too & she was aware of it. When I was finishing up my manicure, LIZ, walked in and said she had another appointment after mine. Basically they couldn’t do my mom’s mani/​pedi because according to her, my mom never checked in. We went in TOGETHER and had the appointment TOGETHER. She registered my mom as a no call no show & instead of rescheduling the other appointment she insisted on rescheduling MINE which was done the day before, the new appointment had been done earlier that day. What made me lose my Sh*t was the fact that LIZ would not take ownership for her mistake or offer me a solution except for rescheduling me. She said it was MY fault for not checking in separately. She had my phone number on file and could have called to check up and see if we were going to show. It would have avoided the entire situation because we were already there!
I just cannot believe this girl would not apologize & instead chose to blame me for the miscommunication. I will be calling to speak to a manager about her.
DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. The customer service is horrible and the people at the front desk have no common sense.

I went for a mini spa day before my anniversary and got a mani and pedi. This was my first gel manicure. I had Mindy and I absolutely loved her, she was pleasant and I would recommend her to anyone. She is friendly and sweet. She did an amazing job.

Went for a massage on my birthday. I was not able to enjoy the service due to the ladies at the front desk talking and laughing very loud. I was able to hear their entire conversation during my service. I will not be returning.

Went to this location after purchasing a Groupon for a massage. Location itself it average; dark décor and cold tile flooring. Male therapist is a doll. Has a light touch but also had some good technique for tense areas. Not bad, not great — satisfactory.

This is going to be another sad review ;(I really don’t like giving bad reviews, but you gotta be honest right? I bought a Groupon for 2 spa treatments, a massage and a Mani/​Pedi (I know sounds girly). Anyway, the girl made record time in completing my manicure & pedicure, both together took under 15 minutes! Funny enough my girlfriend came and had the same services, her Pedicure took over an hour and they didn’t even get to her manicure. So don’t ask me how that happens. After my world record Mani/​Pedi, they sat me in a room to await my massage. No one said a word to me as I sat and watched the staff walk around, working, going in and out of rooms for close to an hour. When it was finally my turn, I got to listen to a few staff members outside my door the talk about their weekend, life dramas, etc… the entire time. As well here the hustle and bustle of people in and out of closets. The massage itself was awful as well. I’m kind of funny about my massage, I always request a female (something strange about another male massaging a strait man to me). They had one person working and you guessed it, it was a he. So needless to say I kept my undergarments on for this one (didn’t want to take any chances). He had a super light touch, worked my back for almost the entire time, then finally did my arms for 5 minutes each and it was over. But it couldn’t end fast enough for me. Sadly, this wasn’t even worth half what I paid for the Groupon…

Okay this 5 star review isn’t for this salon but for the Danyel who runs the eyelash service. I love Danyel she is the eyelash angel! I drive all the way from the southwest side to see her and she never disappoints. I get full fabulous lashes every time.
Qualities of Danyel that made her amazing during my appointment:
— very gentle with my eyes
— precise
— patient
— honest
— sweet manner to her
— personable
Cons:
— I just wish her lashes were longer and had more of a curl **preferably a d-​curl**
— The location but it is so worth it for her
— The Canyon Spa front desk girls can be a little rude and not welcoming at times, but I’m not there for their salon.

My boyfriend bought me a birthday groupon for 3 services. I was so excited since I love having spa days and have had several before. However, this was a terrible experience! I chose to get a facial, a massage, and a body wrap.
The facial was 10 minutes long, she didn’t use hot towels at all, the steam thing that is usually used to keep your pores open didn’t work properly so it didn’t help at all, she basically wiped my face with a cold rag, applied a wonderful smelling pumpkin mask, and wiped it off with a cold rag. No extractions, no scalp massage, no attention paid to detail at all. Very half-​assed.
Next, I got a massage. It was ok. The masseuse was 10 min late, the bed and room was fine with the exception of the lack of privacy — they used a curtain to separate the two rooms that they used and an old lady with an outdoor voice kept using her outdoor voice to talk about her nasty skin problems that she wanted her masseuse to look at for her. (Ewww!) He certainly tried to do well, but every time he asked how the pressure was and I asked him to apply more pressure I swear it got softer.
Lastly, I got all set up for the thermal body wrap. I had never done this before so I was eager to see how it all worked. Basically it was a bunch of heating pads that the covered in towels and wrapped around your body for a half an hour or so. They didn’t cover one area of the heating pad by my upper neck very well so by the time I the girl came in to check on me and I told her I had several huge blisters on my back that ended up being very painful for the next 3 – 4 days.
I would never ever go here again or recommend this «spa» to anyone. Not even with a groupon.

I discovered this spa because of Deborah Goodrich. So my review of Canyon Falls Spa & Salon will be mostly be influenced by the massage treatments offered by Deborah Goodrich (5 stars!). Deborah offered some Groupon promoting her massage (90 minute massage & sugar body scrub) and after the first treatment I was hooked.
Deborah is one of the best masseuse I have ever met, with amazing skills and strength to work out the knots and other over-​stressed muscles in my neck and shoulder. But if you want the regular foo foo massage that are often offered at other spas, she would no doubt be able to accommodate you as well. Personally, I think the reason she is so good as a masseuse/​massage therapist is the fact that she is a great listener. So when she asks you about your body, what parts are sore, etc., don’t be shy and rob yourself of the best massage therapy session that it could be.
Booking appointments is relatively easy process. Just search her name + Las Vegas on Google, and the top links returned will be her appointment booking page. Find a treatment & date that fits both of your calendar and show up a few minutes early. Relax, enjoy the treatment, drink a lot of water, repeat appointment booking process. Easy as pie :)

After the horrible situation I faced with Skin City and La Riva Massage I decided to look for another spa that offered similar services I found Debbie Goodrich! She was offering a special for a pumpkin enzyme facial/​massage and body scrub. It was the best treatment I have ever received! She was professional, she gave the exact amount of pressure I requested and she walked me through the entire process. I have noticed that not many companies that are selling groupon’s are professional or courtesy. They advertise for new clients and then when they have a chance at gaining one they are not as accommodating or friendly as they might be to someone paying full price for a service, but this was not the case with Debbie.
I will be going back very soon. Thank you Debbie for changing my mind about groupon companies
