Established in 1977.

First Certified in 1967, Larrie Thomas started Certified Welding in 1977. We have completed many projects for the water district and underground contractors. Additionally structural steel, metal fabrication, and heavy equipment enhance our résumé. In 2010 the company was transferred from father to son, DeCall Thomas.

Business Owner

DeCall Thomas is CEO of Certified Welding Services Corp (CWSC). in Las Vegas, NV since 2011. He has served various positions in the family business since 1977.

After graduating from Rancho H.S. in 1982, he went on to attend CSN, studying computers and business. DeCall received his Eagle Scout award in 1982 and along with his 10 brothers, achieving a world record for the most Eagle Scouts (11) from one family (2001). In 1983 DeCall served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Hawaii. Service and leadership to the community, church, and Boy Scouts is something commonplace in the Thomas family. He is the proud father of 11 children. He likes to joke that he was done at 4 or 5… but by some miracle had twins. Then in 2003, heartbreaking and unexpected, his wife Sherry died after a short battle with breast cancer. He remarried in 2006 with Ana and her lovely 4 children, thus the proud parents of 11.
