The Charleston Heights Arts Center presents a wide diversity of programs and classes. Programs of interest include: Guest Artist Series, Children Summer Concert Series, Big Band Dances, Summer Dance Camp and the Rainbow Company Youth Theatre performances. Classes of interest include: group and private dance, visual arts, drama and private music and voice.

The center supports other division units and city departments including, but not limited to, the Rainbow Company Youth Theatre, visual arts, Detention and Enforcement, Business Services and the City Council. This support comes in the form of providing program information, ticket sales, facility usage, class registration and customer service.
