Each season, the enormously talented horticulturalists and designers who make up the Bellagio Conservatory team transform this 14,000-square-foot floral playground into a showcase of the distinctive sights and colors of spring, summer, fall and winter – along with a special display for Chinese New Year. When the seasons turn and the displays rotate, 90 percent of the trees, flowers and plants in the conservatory are recycled, to further celebrate our commitment to the earth.

History

Established in 2010.

A horticulture staff of 120 maintains the Botanical Gardens and the entire grounds of Bellagio. The staff has the ability to achieve seasonal designs by selecting flowers that complement the trees, gazebos, bridges and ponds, and can add or remove water features to enhance the seasonal effect.

The Conservatory season starts with Chinese New Year and features traditional designs of the celebration. Spring brings cherry blossoms, while the summer offers floraequally as fragrant. Orange and yellow, brown and gold are used to match the fall foliage. Following Thanksgiving weekend, the gardens are transformed for the Christmas season. Bellagio’s holiday display is one of extraordinary beauty. The wonderful fragrances and magnificent colors of the seasons take over the entire arrival experience. This ever-​changing natural display is the single most significant component of Bellagio’s design, fulfilling the promise of creating the most extraordinary hotel in the world.

The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden is one of those ‘Can’t Miss’ attractions in Vegas that I always visit no matter what time of year. It’s almost always a completely different experience whenever I drop by.
This is a great place to try out your photography skills as there are so many things to take pictures off. As you can see, I’ve gathered quite a collection of photos from the many times I’ve visited.
My favorite time to come here is definitely during the winter time when everything is decked out in Christmas décor. I love the snow tunnel and toy trains that run through the garden. My most recent visit blew my mind with their underwater theme for Summer 2016. I loved the walk-​though aquarium!
So if you have time to kill and want to give your camera a workout, the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden is a great spot for that. It’s a great family spot too!

I wanted to take my 10 month old son to see some fun stuff in Vegas, but also didn’t want to pay ridiculous prices for things he wouldn’t enjoy or would just sleep through — so free botanical garden it was!
Well first, like I said — it’s free. It’s beautiful. And my son loved it. Even if he didn’t, it was free so we could have just left and been totally fine.
Only drawbacks were, it’s pretty small and can get crowded and people walk around aimlessly in front of your stroller or pictures (which isn’t the fault of the business but can affect your experience) You can see everything in about 5 minutes so if you are going to that hotel for just this, it’s a lot to do just for a short trip.

This was really neat to walk through. We came in January 2016 and it was all decorated for the Chinese new year! Beautiful flowers, water features and greenery! Would highly recommend taking the time to walk through and enjoy it during your visit in Vegas. It’s free :)

I find this the best attraction along the strip. It is already a big plus that it is free and open 24 hours a day but the craftsmanship and care that go into each of the displays is simply amazing. For a while, I assumed that they re-​created the same seasonal displays each year but I have come to realize that the displays are constantly changing. While some elements (white carnation polar bears around Christmas) appear each year, their surroundings are new. Makes the usually-​taxing trip to the Strip worth it.

Head on over the the Bellagio for a magically beautiful stroll through this garden. It’s FREE so you have nothing to lose.
The décor is so pretty. Everyone, including us, kept stopping along the walkways to take photos and selfies. All the tourists were very nice about that.
It’s a small garden, but has huge, intricate, «must see» floral sculptures. Some of the photos I took are now the background on my desktop, laptop and phone.

We went mid day and it was a nice break from the heat, but the exhibit is small and crowded.
I never made it through the small aquarium area because I didn’t want to wait in the line to go down what could be described as less of a hallway.
I thought the nautical displays were beautiful and creative. It was a great place to take pictures.
It wasn’t a wow moment that I couldn’t miss in a lifetime, but I am glad that I stumbled upon it and it didn’t cost a dime for me to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Breath taking. How does these people put magical eye candy on display. One of the few places on the strip to visit for free. Yes I said free.
The gardens changes out several times of the year. It’s never the same. They go by a theme. Every turn you take is beautiful and you’ll be in owe of the place.
There is a garden themed store. You can shop for floral goods like candles, dishes, and fabric goods.

Wow, every time I’ve visited Vegas I made sure to stop here and check out the beautiful displays and scenery. My mom and I were here in October and there was a fall theme. Everywhere you turn your head there was something different to catch your eye or take a picture. The only downfall was how crowded it became. It was very challenging taking pics without others in the background.
You are literally in awe as you slowly walk from one display to the next just trying to take it all in. There were so many details and little eye catching things that you miss on first glance. We walked around twice just enjoying the views. This place is another must see when you’re in Vegas and the best part is it’s all free.

So spring time is upon us once again! Get out the Claritin, Zyrtec, nasal sprays etc… Just kidding! Not!
Seriously, where else can you go and see some of the most incredible flora and fauna creations on the planet? The Bellagio Gardens offers one a brief escape several times a year to enjoy these artistic gardens.
This spring has an Asian theme with a beautiful tree made entirely out of acrylic flowers. It is a showstopper! Then there is turtle covered in roses, a large birdhouse with life size birds to complement it. Meanwhile, don’t go too fast or you will miss the tiny finches and other birds in the cages surrounding the tree and birdhouse! There is quite a variety and all of them seem to be really chipper! At the far end is a gorgeous pagoda in the corner and a large crane made out of feathers and flowers. The Japanese music that is playing through out the gardens adds a nice touch to your visit. Up above are upside down colorful umbrellas and kite boxes with streamers.
I love coming every season to see the new offerings of this wonderful place and we are so lucky to have such talented artists and florists that put their heart and soul into the work they do. Although I checked in at Bellagio Hotel, this review is for the Botanical Gardens at the Bellagio Hotel.

Every time we visit Las Vegas, we’ve made it our tradition to come by the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden and enjoy the unique, colorful, and energizing display. This time, there were Japanese Cherry trees filled with colorful birds. I found the tranquil theme to be relaxing and invigorating at the same time.
With our new peaceful energy, we ate at the Bellagio and then enjoyed the tables for many, many hours.

Die aktuelle Dekoration im April 2016 hat offensichtlich das Thema Japan, neben dem zum Thema passenden blühenden Bäumen sind auch bunte Vögel aus Blumen modelliert, dazu gibt es noch große Volieren mit asiatischen Vogelarten zu sehen, dazwischen die kleinen Wasserspiele und natürlich der landestypische Fischbesatz mit bunten Karpfen.
Der Besuch des «Conservatory» war auch bei der aktuellen Dekoration wieder ein kostenloser Hochgenuss, meine Empfehlung für diese Pracht, bitte etwas Zeit zum intensiven bestaunen mitbringen und eher in den Abendstunden vorbeikommen, wegen der Beleuchtung.

This is a small, but very pretty exhibit within the Bellagio, just right next to the lobby. It’s free to enter for the public. There are displays of different flowers arranged nicely via numerous little pots, along with some décor that rotates every few months or so. There is some very pretty natural light that comes streaming from the top clear glass roof. It’s a great little stroll, and there’s a good view of the gardens from one story above right outside the entrance to their fitness center.

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?
The moment you see it, you have this sense of going back to when we were cave man and woman. When nature was nature, and you could breathe the clean air, smell the naturalness, and smile (or grunt). The only thing you had to worry about was being eaten by a dinosaur. Ironically, all this is in a behemoth man made luxury strucuture called the Bellagio.
The Japanese Gardens display the attention to detail taken by the japanese and take off some of the stress you’ve accumulated throughout your life. Come here if you want a few years back on your life.
Understandably, there are no places to sit here, otherwise people would just sit here for hours, get hyptonized, and have the best sleep of their lives. I can’t doc stars for that logic as you want traffic to move through.
Come and enjoy as nothing lasts forever.

The Husband and I stopped by the Botanical Garden while we were in Las Vegas for an extended weekend. I love nature related activities so I had to stop by the gardens to see all the flowers and plants. It’s really easy to find inside the Bellagio because it’s right by the lobby right inside the front doors. Hard to miss!
We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and it was PACKED. So many people were taking pictures and selfies with the displays that it was hard to move through the gardens and walk around everyone trying to take pictures. Help!
The gardens were nice, but nothing better than you would see in any State Fair Flower Show. I’m glad we stopped by, but it’s definitely not worth a special trip. We saw all the displays in about 5 minutes and were ready to leave. I’m glad it was free!
I think we came during a Chinese New Year display because it was that kind of theme. My favorite part was the cool monkeys everywhere and the giant tree. Really interesting to look at! The only thing that I wished was that there were more interesting plants and flowers among the display. A lot of the flowers were repeated over and over and were things that you could find at your local hardware store and see everywhere.
I’m glad we went, it was free, so check it out! Just come during the week or early/​late in the day to avoid the crowds.

When I think back to my visit here the words gorgeous and magical immediately come to mind. Their recent display was for Chinese new year and the year of the monkey. They had a display of monkeys on a mountain along with peaches and other fruits dangling on one side while the atrium was filled with monkey sound to enhance the experience.
The other side was decorated with dancing children with colorful attire fully composed of multi colored flowers, a real bridge and pond with koi swimming around, lanterns and other traditional Chinese décor. It was really a sight to behold and the pictures really don’t do it justice. You have to see for yourself! It’s one of the best free attractions Las Vegas has to offer.

I absolutely love the Bellagio Conservatory. I visit 3 or 4 times a year when they change the display. You can check out the website for their schedule. I never go on the first day anymore because one time I showed up and they were still putting it together.
Each display is created with all flowers. For example, at Christmas they had polar bears and they were made with mainly white flowers. (The whole body) It’s amazing! In addition to the flowers, which are the main part of every display, they also have props. Recently, they had a mermaid display around September I think and in addition to flower mermaids, they had huge rocks, water, etc.
Just a heads up, this display gets very busy. There’s usually a flow to the traffic and you kind of have to wait in line to take pictures. I usually go in the evening, so maybe I’m always going at the busiest time.

Need to see something natural in Vegas? What’s wrong with you? Well there’s something wrong with me because on the last day of our trip, I googled must see tourist stops in Vegas and the botanical gardens at the Bellagio jumped out at me.
As others have mentioned, it’s free, free, free! I was taken aback at how it’s just an atrium off of the casino lobby but it’s a nice addition. So strolling at a casual pace and taking time for selfie ops took us about 10 minutes total, for some reason I thought it would take more time.
The arrangements are stunning visually both in terms of layout and color composition. It’s beautiful to look at. We went during a Chinese New Year themed show and I was surprised at just how colorful and alive they made the exhibit. It’s a breath of fresh air! Literally, the high ceilings and natural light are refreshing. The suspended lanterns, foot bridges, and figures made this place have a little fun and whimsy too.
It was nice to see nature in Vegas. These botanical gardens are stunning. Kudos to the designers and botanists who make this thing look so great. Recommended.

There’s something magical about walking through a room full of flowers while holding hands with that special someone. The winter holiday exhibit 2015 was amazing and what’s better is that the Picasso poinsettias smelled like roses! I mean, there really were just as many flowers as you could possibly fit into that room (and it’s not a small room). It was pretty beautiful.
I also got a kick out of looking at all the penguins, watching the Coca Cola train weaving in and out of the flowers, walking through a snowy tunnel, being mesmerized by a giant rocking horse ebbing back and forth, and taking pictures in front of a giant Christmas tree.
For not having a super festive Christmas season up to that point, it really turned it around for me. The Christmas spirit was heavy in there and it was freakin’ awesome. The exhibit was so nice, that I would honestly really like to go back there again during the Christmas season to see it.
I can’t speak too much for the exhibit during other times of year, but if this one was any indication, it is more than worth checking out. They go all out and it’s a really great experience for all!

This is such a beautiful area that is perfectly maintained. It’s hard to believe that you’re accessing this from a hotel lobby. I can get here within five minutes of where I parked my car in the garage, but it feels miles away.
The area completely transforms between seasons and each theme is perfectly executed. Right now the gardens are themed for the Chinese New Year. It’s beautiful from floor to ceiling. The details really show when you tour the area.
If you’re walking through the Bellagio then you won’t want to miss this area. Walk through and enjoy the beautiful backdrop for some photos. I’d also suggest sneaking around the corner to Jean Philippe Patisserie for some sweets afterwards.

Seeing as we don’t have any other kind of botanical gardens out here (that are NOT desert landscape), this is a wonderful little retreat when you want some foliage outside of rocks and cacti.
They change it for the seasons and it is always maintained very well. Best part? Free! It’s even right by the elevators you take from the parking garage.
It gets pretty busy and lots of people take pictures, so maybe visiting in the early afternoon or late evening would be better if you want to avoid the ‘tourist rush.’

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know about Bellagio’s famed Conservatory. There are five displays during the year and they’re all beautiful: Holiday, Lunar New Year, Spring, Summer, and Harvest. There are elements that remain the same for the displays year after year, but there are always new features as well.
Their website shows the dates of each display, so you know when to visit and to avoid the transition periods between displays (usually a week); very helpful.
It does tend to get REALLY crowded and makes it difficult to take photos or even enjoy. I recommend avoiding holidays and weekends. However, if you must visit during these high traffic times, come early in the morning (though you may catch them refreshing the display).
The conservatory is located adjacent to the front desk, so it’s easiest to access from their parking garage. It is also close to the tram.

This has been a staple in Las Vegas since the inception of the Bellagio on the strip. This beautiful setup has a seasonal element to it which makes it an amazingly picturesque. I try to make it a habit to visit the gardens here at the Bellagio on nearly every visit just to smell the freshness and view the beauty that is the botanical garden. In my mind, it’s a must see, if even for a couple of minutes…

The Conservatory & Botanical Garden is a FREE seasonal attraction inside of the Bellagio. As a local, I have seen numerous displays here over the years. We always bring everyone who visits us to the Bellagio to see the botanical garden. Still, to this day it never fails to impress me. I find myself oohing and aahing while pointing out all the beautiful plants and creative surprises I see along the way.

Fall was in the air on our most recent visit. The incredible detail that is put into these exhibits is absolutely amazing to me. The beautiful colors of fall are some of my favorites all year. The flowers, trees, and interesting plants chosen are always bright and cheery. The gorgeous huge tree that reaches upwards, towards the sky, leads your eyes up to the ceiling of the beautiful atrium. It was covered with colorful yellowy orange leaves this time. The atrium was filled with loads of pretty pumpkins and gourds, some of which were enormous. I also love seeing all the different ways they incorporate the human like tree time after time. My favorite is when he’s moving his eyes, and sometimes he even talks! I enjoyed seeing the scarecrow as well this year… the garden makes people happy, smile, and pose for family photos.
So no matter what time of year it is, whether your a tourist visiting our city or a longtime local get out and visit the Botanical Garden.

This is always the first place I recommend to people when they ask what the one thing they absolutely have to do when they come to Vegas!!! They decorate for every season/​holiday. I always make it a point to come at Christmas because it is so over the top. It is a Winter Wonderland for sure! Everything from skating penguins to life size snow globes. Every single flower and plant is real too. While you are there, sneak around the corner to see the world’s largest chocolate waterfall!

Simply stunning garden located inside the Bellagio hotel. The garden display also changes from time to time as I can tell looking through the other photos on Unilocal.It’s well worth a 30 minute visit to Bellagio just for this. There’s so much natural light here and also lots of opportunities for photos! Beautiful floral displays with some cool «animations». For example, there was a clam shell with a pearl inside that occasionally opened and closed!
One star off though because of just how crowded and packed it was both times we visited — once in the morning and once near the evening. It’s a bit of a struggle to go through just because there’s crowds of people everywhere.

We were getting in some walking exercise along the Strip and wanted to see some of the hotels we haven’t yet visited in years past.
I wanted to go inside the Bellagio, mainly for the Conservatory Garden and the art gallery.
We were too early for the gallery, but the garden is in an open area accessible at all hours.
It’s charming!
The current theme was a fall exhibit and was full of beautiful autumn colors.
A visit to the garden will definitely become part of our Vegas routine on future visits.

This is one of the best things to see in Las Vegas! Why?
1. It’s FREE! There’s no admission! Just walk right in and wander for as long as you like!
2. This exhibit changes with the seasons.
3. Thousands of fresh flowers are used to create some of the characters in the displays.
4. Some of the displays move!
5. There is something new to discover each time!
My mom, aunties, friends and other relatives are always amazed by this exhibit in the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. It’s located to the right of the Registration Desk. If you are entering the hotel from the main entrance, just walk straight forward, past the small indoor fountain. You can’t miss it!

Fall is in the air at the Bellagio. I love coming here to check out the decorations and flowers whenever I visit Las Vegas. As soon as you walk into the magnificent lobby of this beautiful hotel, if you walk a few more feet, your eyes will be drawn to the amazing conservatory.
Fall is in the air on this last visit. The incredible detail that goes into the exhibit is amazing. The beautiful flowers, trees, and Fall colors are bright and cheerful. I loved the human like trees… my favorite one has moving eyes and even talks! The gorgeous huge tree that reaches upward several feet is filled with beautiful orange flowers. I love the scarecrow. he makes you smile, and the place is filled with colorful pumpkins and gords.
I have seen several seasonal displays here over the years and it never fails to impress me. The only drawback here is it is often crowed. the best time to go is either early or late. It’s worth it to see, crowd or no crowd. Get your camera ready, because you will always want to take pictures. I look forward to see the winter holiday display!

The only constant is change. The flower garden of the Bellagio is a must-​see attraction every time we visit Vegas. Bellagio is one of my favorite casinos to play in, and there’s a few excellent restaurants here too. The flower garden changed with the seasons, and each display is amazingly done.
Today upon our arrival most lunch places don’t open until 11 am, so for a good 20 minutes or so we enjoyed taking pictures of the autumn theme, with lots of fall colors, giant pumpkins, trees that talk, and the gigantic Ents! (much cuter than those from LOTR movies).

Located right inside the Bellagio hotel is this wonderful FREE spot for tourists to do. I love the beautiful decoration because it makes you feel like you’re somewhere else for a moment. The décor are seasonable of course. I went during the fall but I bet this place is magical around Christmas time. AHHHH it must be nice to come here during winter! The bellagio hotel is already pretty awesome by itself but this is also a plus!

Within our trip to Las Vegas for my brother’s birthday, I am glad that my parents decided to incorporate some interesting and beautiful things for me to enjoy as walking down the strip wasn’t as fun as it could have been (it wasn’t for me, more like a big exercise).
When I first walked into this wonderland of gardens, my mouth immediately fell to the floor with my eyes bucked wide with excitement. I just kept dreaming I wasn’t in Sin City anymore.
With thoughts traveling through my mind wondering how could anyone maintain such a paradise of plants and art that had me thinking about my ordinary raised bed at home in Texas.
This isn’t just any olé botanical garden that you aren’t hit in the face with heat or bugs, thank goodness this is located inside of a hotel. Seriously, how can this garden survive without direct energy from the sun and who was the person that had creative hands to transform just an any old art into something so magical?!
We must go out and find that person – tell that person to come to my house and fancy up my garden.
You got yourself a free garden with nothing, but simple beauty. You can’t go wrong here!

This place is beautiful to say the least and I could go on a rant on why you need to see it, but I think it’s better to experience it yourself.
Don’t even look at pictures and just go. Go! The sets change throughout the year so you might see something different every time you go. Again, I truly say invest your time and check this place out as you will be in awe beyond words.

I love this place! Located inside the Belagio, it’s one of my favorite FREE «tourist attractions» on the strip.
I make a point to walk through each time I find myself in Vegas. The themes are always so fabulously done, and change regularly. It’s really breathtaking — and seriously, the pictures (as beautiful as they are) do not do it justice.
It can get a little crowded, but people seem very respectful of others taking pictures, and keeping the flow moving.

Der Bereich nahe der Lobby des Bellagio ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert! Die Blumendekoration wechselt regelmässig und war bisher immer Wunderbar anzusehen. Ein wirklich kostenloser Hochgenuss hier in Las Vegas, was Ansicht schon eine absolute Ausnahme darstellt. Das Bellagio leistet es sich hier einen Botanischen Garten unter der zentralen Glaskuppel des Hotels. Die Pflanzen sind echt und das Arrangement ist sehr detailreich, oftmals lohnt der Blick in die Tiefe um lustige oder spannende extras zu entdecken. Ebenso wird regelmässig ein Gemälde eines bekannten Künstlers aus Blumen nachgebildet. Die unvermeidlichen Geschenkläden sind natürlich auch vorhanden, die dann aber wieder eher dem Preisniveau des Bellagio entsprechen.

Located in the heart of the Bellagios. We stumbled upon this by accident. We wanted to see what was inside. The moment we saw what was inside, it blew us away.
This has to be one of the most beautiful, most colorful botanical gardens you will see. It is different from other botanical gardens because it is a little more creative and artsy. Definitely a lot smaller. The use of flowers, plants, trees, water, etc. is used so lovely. You just have to be amazed by it. Definitely a picture taking moment.
This is one of those places where you want to get out of the Las Vegas heat and come see this beautiful creation. It is FREE to check out.
And here I thought the Bellagios was just known for their water fountain show… nope I was wrong.

Warning, this is not your average botanical garden. The Conservatory & Botanical Garden is one of favorite places to frequent when in Vegas! I love how the theme constantly changes according to the season/​occasion and everything is so beautiful, detailed oriented, and lush. As busy as Vegas can be, when you step in — you’re transformed into a completely different world.
When I went in April, the theme was a Japanese Garden and everything was breathtaking. It felt very relaxing to walk around and look at all the surrounding details. I ended up going twice (late at night and in the morning) and loved every minute of it.
For anyone going to Vegas, I highly recommend checking out the Conservatory & Botanical Garden. Even if you’re not a huge fan of botanical gardens, you’ll be amazed at the level of detail that goes into making this place so grandiose and memorable for all visitors.

Whenever I visit the 9th island, one of my favorite things to do is to visit the Conservatory & Botanical Garden at the Bellagio Hotel.
Seems like every so many months, the hotel has the displays changed for the various holidays, or events.
I must say the exhibits are truly beautiful! Lots of details on the displays, and the flowers are so colorful!
If you’re ever in Las Vegas… be sure to stop by the Conservatory & Botanical Garden to see what’s up.

This is your must-​see!
* The scene changes four times per year.
* Always free.
* Always amazing.
* Always crowded. At least somewhat. People have always been very respectful though — everyone is trying to take a pic and everyone else knows it so there is mutual courtesy.
* I have found that during the weekday, as you’d expect, there are generally fewer people however photography lighting is harsher with the bright sunlight overhead. The best time for snapping (clicking) a photo is dusk or late evening if you ask me.
* Enter at Bellagio’s main entrance or from on-​site parking for closest access.
If I were a horticulturist… I’d apply here. They employ over 140. And they’re good!
