This is a scam. They call you up and they seem official. It’s very confusing. I got my marriage certificate directly from the county for $ 15 and it came in days.

Just got the same thing. This is a scam because when you go to the Marriage License Bureau in Las Vegas they tell you to just order it online and that it would be on file after 2 weeks of your marriage. SCAM ALERT!

Document Retrieval Services initiated a phone call implying that they were from a state agency vs. and independent service company and for $ 69 would send a certified copy of a marriage license. I realized I didn’t ask specific questions about the service offered and since I was married a week before at a Las Vegas chapel I thought it was follow up from the marriage license bureau. My mistake but the representative that called omitted information that would have allowed me to say NO I don’t need the service. I found out after the fact that I could order directly from the state a copy for $ 25.
