As far as customer service and care for our golden doodle «Charlee» we have no complaints whatsoever. Charlee is always happy to go for daycare or boarding and in fact starts getting excited before we even pull into the parking lot. The employees are always friendly and remember her name as we are checking in. I have never had a problem getting a real person on the phone, making or extending reservation, or any questions regarding the safety or treatment of our pet. Charlee loves it here because she knows they care about her. We would never consider boarding anywhere but here! The customer service and care is 5 stars… the come home bath I rate at 3 ¹⁄₃ as it has not been the best in the recent past. I have elected to forego this service and give her a bath myself. It may be that we are just picky — given their service and care for Charlee, this does not keep us from going back. Great place! I highly recommend it!

My dog loves this place. They are very professional and I am comfortable leaving my dog for long periods of time. The extra services are awesome. My dog is now well trained.

WARNING! Beware of the awful place for your puppy children.
So… My dog has been going here for a few months for daycare, and has stayed several times overnight. I used to think she was really happy and loved playing with the other days… But actually she was just happy to come home. Whenever she would come home she would be so dehydrated, and would drink two bowls of water! The nice thing was she would pass out and sleep the rest of the night due to exhaustion. The play area in the back is really small, and there are tons of dogs out there crammed into a small area. Also, it’s outside and we all know how hot Vegas gets.
So, on September 14 we picked up our dog from daycare. When my boyfriend brought her home she was acting so strange… Like depressed. She drank tons of water and went to sleep. When she woke up she walked over to me and I loved on her and gave her tons of kisses like usual. Then… She started licking her belly. I looked down and as you can see from my pictures I posted I was mortified. I freaked out! She had tons of open bloody wounds all over her body! My poor baby.
I called and spoke to the manager Leah and told her what happened. She said that they had no recollection of this happening to her. I am sorry but how can someone not see all of her marks. I took her to the vet immediately and demanded that Doggie District pay my vet bill. Leah complied, apologized, and sent our bill over to corporate to be paid.
The vet put her on antibiotics, bandaged some of her wounds, and made her wear a cone so her wounds wouldn’t get infected. The vet also notice that her neck had red lacerations on it, which she said it looked like someone pulling her by her collar way to hard.
I am sorry but our pets are like our children. It is honestly ridiculous that this happened to my dog. Oh and guess what! Now she is scarred physically for life! You can see the pictures of her scars that I posted.
This review speaks for itself, and if you are looking for a place to take your babies… I would look elsewhere.

About 4 months ago I called this location and could not get through to speak to someone about reservations. It’s a bit frustrating to keep listening to the machine and the options to press, and when I left a voicemail, I received no call the next day. So I Went to the location and was asked if I had a reservation, because I needed to be present for orientation. I had forgotten my proof of vaccinations, and I asked if they could be faxed and they said they needed them at the time of boarding. (not flexible at all) I left and have been boarding my dog at Hot Diggity Dog Daycare, since.
Yesterday, I received a coupon for 2 day boarding $ 29 and day care $ 17, so I called to experience the same delay in answering. I was disconnected while on hold, twice. I left a voicemail, no callback. E-​mail no response. Really?
Finally, I got through and spoke to the «reservation specialist,» and I inquired about their orientation, coupons received, and anything additional I should be aware of. She was very professional, but I really do not like pushy sales people (being that I am a sales consultant). Give the customer what they want! The coupon was just a hook to call, while it is $ 29 for two night boarding, they try to sell you packages that cost between $ 15-​$ 25 in addition. If you say you want the lowest package, they come back to say «we do not recommend that package as it is for dogs that have recently had surgery, and only offers half a day of play time» Then the operator goes back to say «if you only pay an additional $ 5 per day, you get full day package» That’s annoying. I then asked, if it would be considered an additional day if I dropped off Monday afternoon, and pick up Wednesday after 5pm. She said it would still be two days. Then, persistently, AGAIN, recommended the 4 Star package, to Finalize by saying «check out is at 11am for the package you want (3 start package) and 2pm for the other packages. Costing me ANOTHER $ 25, just for an additional 3hours.
I CANCELLED THE RESERVATION.
I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Hot Diggity Dog Daycare. It might not be as fancy, but they are always friendly, caring and welcoming for any dog. They tell you the fees up-​front. AND the first time I walked in, they were very ACCOMMODATING and FLEXIBLE by having my Vet fax the vaccinations for my dog. My dog is always happy at Hot Diggity Daycare, and if you only want Boarding, they even walk your dog during the day for no EXTRA charge.
Doggy District Pet Resort seems overpriced, and I really do not like their customer service. Proven twice.

Our english setter, Levi, loves it there! They are always so polite when I drop him off and Levi always leaves wicked happy :) he gets a lot of exercise there cuz every time he goes he’s tuckered out. And it’s a reasonable price, plus military discount too. They have cute parties every once in a while like water party where they get to play with bubbles and water and sprinklers. They have snack time as well so you can bring in a lunch bag of their food. Totally worth it! We will definitely refer all our friends to use them!

Took my dogs here and they DID NOT want to leave they loved it so much! The staff was excellent be ready to fill
out paperwork if it is your first time but they are worth the time… They evaluate your dogs and do a great job, they were able to let me know my dog wasn’t aggressive and he just has a nervous owner lol soo he gets along with everyone when I’m not around hahahha Anyways keep up the awesome work we will definitely be back!!!

Similar to other people I have grow less excited about Doggie District. My 2 dogs were going 2 days a week for a couple years. One of my girls came down with kennel cough. The extra dollar you pay to cover things like kennel cough are a joke. I asked about the refund numerous times. I never received one. My biggest concern happened when one of my girls had an anal gland rupture. The staff knew nothing about when it happened or that it even happened. The vet said it was painful for dogs so she would have been in pain. My girl is in pain and no one noticed. The worst part was they never called me back. I expected a call to see if she was okay after surgery (I left a message to be called back).
My girls have visited a couple times since that incident, however the constant turnover is troubling. I want people who actually know my dogs. It is very sad since it had such a promising beginning. I miss Tracey, he really knew the dogs and they loved him.

We went here on a recommendation from a friend and are so happy we did. Our boy Bubba absolutely loves it here. After an initial little hiccup with the a couple front desk employees (which was cleared up quickly) we have nothing but great things to say about them. The entire staff has been wonderful and not to single specific people out but Sam, Leah, and Myranda have been the biggest reasons we keep going. They truly make us feel like Bubba is part of their family and that is important. We’ve used the daycare, the grooming, the boarding, and even the transportation and have had no problems with any of it. Bubba gets so excited to go and when he walks in, melts into a ball of wiggles (a definite indication of how much he loves it and them). I would highly recommend them and we will happily continue to take him here. Yes it can get expensive, and we definitely have had some challenges to overcome to make sure we can continue to take him BUT in my opinion it’s worth all of it. Thank you to all of the staff for making our boy so happy.

The Crosswhite’s love this place Diva really enjoys her time here she loves to visit with her friends and tomorrow she will send her birthday there for a couple of hours. Sam is the best along with the other crew he just loves my diva girl… Yes I’m a crazy dog lady lol

My dogs attended daycare and boarding here since this location opened and they love going. I was surprised to see the review below regarding discrimination of certain breeds. One of my dogs is a mix with a often discriminated against breed and we’ve never had any problems. I do think its more a temperament for the individual dog. Some of the staff members are awesome, there is one guy, of course I can’t remember his name right now but I know he also volunteers at local animal shelters, who is always just as excited to see my dogs as they are to see him. One of my dogs is a little hesitant towards men but he LOVES seeing him! That makes me happy knowing that they are known and cared for. There are a few other staff members that were hired recently who seem pretty young and need a little work on customer service but as long as they’re treating my dogs well then I’m happy.
My dogs love daycare and always come home exhausted. They have full day and half day options for pricing. Sometimes its nice to do a halfday then have them groomed in the afternoon before I pick them up. Then they’re tired and smelling good. :)
I’ve never had a problem getting a boarding reservation or getting a hold of someone from the main phone number. I do wish that they had a different structure for their boarding prices. I think the base charge is around $ 25 per night but if you want «upgraded bedding», pictures, extra belly rubs, etc its an additional $ 15 (don’t quote me on these prices). I wish they would make pictures free, post more on their facebook, or get cameras like a few of the competitors in the area.
Overall I’ve recommended this place to several friends and will continue to bring my dogs as often as possible.

RED FLAG: They discriminate certain breeds for daycare. A dog should be accessed before writing off the entire breed. I don’t agree with this policy they follow considering not all dogs (as well as their owners) are the same! Take your pet somewhere else!!! Don’t support this nonsense. They should be ashamed of themselves for operating under poorly selected circumstances.

Our Shiba Inu — Zeeda has been attending daycare since she was a little pup. Several times, we have had to board her during a few of our weekend get-​away trips. It is so hard for me to leave her behind, simply because I miss her, I worry about her, and she relies on me to leave her in good caring hands.
Each time we arrive at the front glass door of Doggie District, Zeeda is scratching at the door to hurry-​up and get-​in, and Zeeda is immediately greeted by her name with a friendly smile warm welcome. (I love it!)
Zeeda attends random days, afternoons, and boards during different times of the year. For the years that we have been going to Doggie District, I appreciate all the staff members. Management is amazing and the teamwork within the staff members is in priority of their «guests.» Yes, they care very much about us parents, but the «kids» are the reason of their undivided attention.
Zeeda arrives different times of the morning, day, afternoon, and evenings of different days of the week. I truly, believe that the staff members work very hard in meeting all the necessary needs of their guests. What amazes me is that no matter which employee it is, they always answer my questions, address any concerns I may have (usually, created by my own worries), and treat their guests with lots of quality attention and care. In addition, should I have the slightest concern regarding anything — anything at all, I am immediately referred to a manager, and management is awesome. (Oh, I already mentioned how great the managers are at Doggie District)
Zeeda was the ‘runt’ of her litter and has always (since birth) had health difficulties with her digestive system, and it is very difficult to get her to eat her food. Her skin is sensitive, her paws are tender to harsh weather conditions, and she has several allergies. Plus, Zeeda’s anxiety and stress level sometimes ‘triggers’ her tummy aches. I care very much about keeping our little family member healthy and happy and that is why I take her to Doggie District. — All her little ‘troubles’ are forgotten when she arrives to daycare to play with her friends, and she is kept ‘cool’ when the heat is high, and kept ‘warm’ when the temperatures are too cold. I love how careful they are with the feedings, and the time involved in clean bedding.
I appreciate all the staff members and their fine customer service. Thank you. Everyone is great!
I do feel that I want to acknowledge Leah and Sam. I know you care for all your guests equally. I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for the compassion in your work, your undivided attention, and the skilled professional care you provide for all the doggies.
I appreciate the warm friendly greetings at ‘drop-​offs’, the motivating energy, the many smiles, all the thoughtfulness during my ‘pick-​ups,’ and helping me learn to «trust» that Zeeda is in good hands.
Oh, and I also wanted to share with you. .. .
At home, Zeeda has a routine for getting-​up and starting her day, and some mornings are tough for her. Sometimes, she is just unmotivated, and I need for her to get started so that I won’t be late for work. On those ‘slow’ mornings, I just love her reaction in jumping right out of bed when I say,
«ZEEDA!. .. Want to go see Sam and Leah?!»

Amazing! We boarded our baby boy for 10 days while we were out of state. He’s a pit bull, and the sweetest thing, but we were worried he’d be treated with prejudice because of his breed. Even on the phone they put those worries to rest, but especially during the orientation! As soon as we walked in we could tell these people LOVE dogs, and so could our Riley. He ran right over, but wiggling, and greeted them. We felt so comfortable and got updates everyday of our trip. He was a happy boy when we picked him up, and even in better shape from 10 days of hard play. I would bring him back in a heartbeat! Great people!

I was interested in bringing my dog here once or twice a week, but I have called multiple times at various hours and no one ever answers the phone. I have left two messages with my contact information and never received a call back. It does not speak well to the reliability and customer service of the business.

Always had great service in location, clean facilities, their phone skills are unusually top notch for a small company… and most importantly my boxer dog is well cared for and tired when she gets home! I have used them for vacations for boarding and I have full trust with them. Only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is they have is they have had significant price increases the past year and are about at the point I may explore other options.

I always like to come back ad give rolling reviews of DD since my two dogs have been there since they were about 16 weeks old. One is over 4 years old now. Romeo has practically grown up at doggie district and least to say I trust very few people with Romeo and my Bella Girl. Leah is the manager at Centennial and is fantastic. I call her and Sam the dynamic duo because they are so great! Having been with DD over 4 years I feel I can give an accurate long term review. There is no other place I trust to leave my dogs than with these guys. Rom had stomach issues when he was a pup and is on a special diet that has to be followed strictly to prevent flareups. They always ensure that he gets his meals exactly the way they are needed. As a result he does not have flareups. When our little Bella had eye surgery and came back, DD Centennial made sure her eyes drops were done at the exact time every single day recording the time on a sheet for me. Even as new staff are added in the back Sam and Leah make sure that the transitions are smooth and that my dogs are happy. For us, the cost is very reasonable with the annual package since they can come and go the whole year round. We also buy boarding packages to use as needed. I really cannot say enough again how much DD Centennial has meant to us for taking care of the furkids. If you pick anywhere to go, go here.

Let me start off by saying that if you’d asked me a year ago to rate this place, I’d have given it 5 stars for sure. I’m writing this review in hopes that maybe the owners/​management will see it and take some of these suggestions to make this place what it once was. My dog has been going to this day care since they opened a few years ago. She LOVES this place and that is why I continue to take her. Over the last year however, the quality and value of service has declined. I’m not sure if the business is in trouble, or if the owners are just getting greedy or what, but the price has recently went up from $ 21 to $ 24.95 (when they first opened, it was only $ 20). I know it doesn’t sound like a lot, but if your dog is going more than once a week, $ 5 here and there adds up fast. Also, a lot of the little «extras» that made this place great have completely disappeared so you are getting less for your money. For example, I used to always get emailed pictures of my dog during her stays– both when she stayed overnight and when she’d go in for daycare– maybe not every day, but quite frequently. I loved getting these little photos and updates on her day. Now, if you want pictures you have to pay extra. For the last few years they’ve done a free overnight stay on Halloween (you only had to pay for daycamp) which included a free Halloween themed photo– this year, nada. Also, every year for my dog’s birthday we’d get an email with a certificate for a free day of daycamp to be used during the birthday month– again, this year, nada. While I realize that these things were all «extras», it’s what set Doggie District apart from other daycamps in the area. These are things that regular customers began to expect and look forward to, and then not only were they taken away, but to add insult to injury they raised the price to boot!
Also, over the last year there have been major staff changes. It seems like every time I go in there it is someone new. There used to be a girl that worked at the front (I think Jordan was her name) and she was awesome. She knew my dog’s name, updated me on her day when I’d pick up, and she could answer pretty much any question you had. The people there now always seem lost and confused. They don’t recognize me when I come in and if you ask them a question, 9 times out of 10 they don’t know the answer. It often takes a while to pay because the people at the desk don’t know how to use the register or credit card machine. They never tell me about my dog’s stay. That’s one thing I like about PetsMart day camp is that you get a written «report card» that tells you what your dog did, who she played with, how well she ate, slept, etc. Also, the new staff rarely updates their Facebook page or responds to questions or comments on there. It used to be updated almost daily with photos of the dogs in camp that day.
Lastly, I gotta say that I wish this place would start requiring that in addition to vaccination records that owners would have to submit proof of a negative fecal exam for their dogs at least once every six months. 3 times now my dog has gotten stomach bugs from this place. I am 99.9% certain they have come directly from here as she is very shy and timid (except at camp) and does not like to go anywhere (including for walks). So other than my house, the only place my dog travels is to Doggie District. She’s picked up giardia once and coccidia twice.
I really want to continue to love this place. My dog is happy to go there and seems well taken care of, but I feel like the price is going up and the value is going down lately. I wish they would get some staff that knows what’s going on and they need to bring back some of those little extras for long time customers who have come to expect it. There is no longer anything that sets this daycamp apart from all the rest.

I recently purchased a groupon to have my dog board here while I went on a three day getaway. Every dog hotel/​day care requires bringing your dog in for evaluation. So, we brought my dog Levi in for a day of play/​evaluation and when dropping him off I asked for a tour of the facilities.
On the surface, everything looks clean and well put together. Unfortunately, I have an issue with the playground set up. First of all, the playground is outside. This doesn’t raise questions for me during most of the year, but this makes no sense in the summer time when it’s 100 degrees outside. Additionally, the playground is covered in artificial turf which needs to be sprayed down frequently, in order to «wash away» the dog piss. This makes sense if the ground is on a slope towards a drain, but it’s not and there are pools of water in certain areas. What do you end up with? A sloshy water/​piss mixture that your dog ends up wearing. Furthermore, I don’t think it’s very healthy for my dogs paws to walking around in bacteria laden water.
Levi had just been groomed when I dropped him off for the evaluation. He came home stinky and damp. Not cool when I just spent $ 40 on grooming. A couple of days later, I realized he was constantly licking his paws. When I looked closer, his paws were red, swollen, and irritated. I’m not a veterinarian, so I can’t say it if it was or wasn’t because of the nasty slosh he had played in at the Doggie District. What I can say is that he’ll never go back to this facility.
Needless to say, he will be staying at a different facility while we’re on vacation. I called groupon and they refunded my money after I explained my issues.

My lab just recently finished the Lodge and Learn program with Jordan and Katie last week. I want to say that it was worth every last penny I spent. At 70lbs and just over a year old, my dog was acting like the typical youngest furchild — sat when he wanted, lay down when he wanted, ate before the food even hit the floor, and nearly pulled my arm out of its socket when we would go for a walk.
After 10 days of training, if I tell him to sit, he sits down and stays until I allow him to get up. I can put his favorite treats on the floor in front of him and he will not touch them until I say it’s okay. When we go on a walk, he stays in the «heel» position unless he has to go to the bathroom. I have a totally different dog!
What makes me happy is that I can trust him now more than I could before. The staff was great about him being away — I got updates on him nearly daily. I no longer have to worry about him jumping up on people, I can have guests without him barking non-​stop, and I can take him around other dogs and he will stop what he is doing and listen to me first instead of just doing what he wants to do. And his personality wasn’t broken — he’s still the same, lovable, tail-​wagging goof he was before training, but now he knows his boundaries.

My husband and I were going out of town for a week and needed a place to drop the «kids» off for care while we were gone. Called around and Doggie District gave the best prices and they did a military discount. They said that a three day daycare orientation was necessary so they could make sure that the girls would do good in a new environment. The first day was the hardest. I have never been away from the dogs for no reason. House was so quiet without them! But they came home happy and exhausted from all the play! Our three days went off without a hitch. Each day I left them a little longer so they could get used to the different activities. Each day they came home more tired than the last!
When it came time to drop the kiddos off before our trip, I was a wreck. The girls kept reassuring me that they will be fine and that with all the playing they would be doing, they wouldn’t even notice that I was gone! I literally called every day, even before we left Vegas! They gave me a little progress report every day and the girls were doing great! Lucy and Stella had even made a few friends (and boyfriends!). They really dealt with our babies little quirks, like when everyone went outside to play after «nap time» and Stella decided that she wanted to just stay in her «room» and veg.
When we got home, the girls were ecstatic to see us (obviously!) and while my neighbor, who picked them up before closing, forgot their big blankie, the ladies emailed me to let me know that it was there and that I could pick it up the next day. Went to pick it up and they had washed and dried it for us! They really go the extra mile and we will definitely be bringing the girls (and their new baby brother) back to doggie district centennial!
