Elite Event: Buffet Bingo @ Bacchanal

I didn’t win at Bingo. 0 stars. This review comes a bit late considering the event was a couple of weeks ago, but there’s honestly not actually that much to talk about. The food was good, the company was great, and the belts were loosened.
It was, however, simply awesome that we got to be in like the secret back room. I know a lot of people didn’t get to go to this event that wanted to, but really it was just a free buffet. And a cupcake.
Oh, and the staff was great, though the chef that came out was terrible at speaking into the microphone. And well, so was Drew. :P

Thank you to Unilocal,Drew and Molly for another spectacular event. This was my first time at Bacchanal, and I am ready to go back and pay full price. I actually tend to stay away from the buffets because I have yet to find one that impressed me (including the M Buffet that everyone raves about), but I was blown away by the quality and the variety of food at Bacchanal.
I had two full plates of food varying from Asian dishes, to Italian, to Seafood and everything in between. I cannot think of a single complaint about food itself. The service was friendly, but my plate of half eaten crab legs was taken from me. The chef and the PR staff came out to say hello and introduce some of the signature dishes. Everyone was gracious and friendly.
The bingo game was fun, but over too quickly. I think we should have gone more rounds. I enjoyed catching up with some cool Unilocalers and meeting new ones. All in all, I am very grateful to have been included in this awesome gluttony.

I am still so full!
I was one of the lucky Unilocalers that got to attend the first event at Bacchanal, so I knew we were in for a real treat. There may have been a new head chef and some different items on the menu, but the variety and quality of food was still just as good as I remembered.
I mainly focused on dessert, what can I say I have a big sweet tooth. Menu standouts for me included:
Waygu Beef slider — Cooked just the way I like it (medium-​rare) and I didn’t even need to add any condiments.
Mango Juice — So delicious.
MOCHI — Give me ALL the mochi!!! I was so excited to see mochi added to the dessert area.
I am giving this event ⁴⁄₅ stars only because there were a couple hiccups.
1. Service was a tad overzealous at times, a tad lacking at times. We had full plates of food taken from our table when people had not even STARTED eating the food on them. And then we had plates of food that were clearly ready to be bussed left on our table for 10 – 15 minutes.
2. I found the bingo to be rather confusing at first, and I wasn’t the only one. Multiple people at my table thought that we had to find and/​or eat the food items on our card to play… It was kind of a bummer to find out that wasn’t the case AFTER I ate a few items I would not have, had I understood properly. If I was the only person that was confused, I’d blame myself… But I was not.
3. I stayed til ‘the end’ (left at 8:40, the event was scheduled to end at 8:30) and missed the special cupcakes that I only know about now because they are being mentioned in reviews. Kind of a bummer to miss out on something .
Overall, I have to say I was pleased with how this event went down, being the first event I have attended since Drew became our new Vegas CM. I really liked that Drew limited this event to Elite Unilocalers ONLY as well. I had a great time chatting with my ‘date’ Dyanna L. and catching up with other Unilocalers.

I was so bummed when I missed last year’s event that when I saw this event listing I thought I was dreaming LOL As soon as I found out that I got in I put in notice that I would be leaving work early but it was just my luck that I got slammed right before I had to leave and so I actually didn’t get to the event until 7:20 :X OOPS I was so worried that I was going to be way too late and have no where to sit. (that was the fastest I have ever speed-​walked through a casino BTW.) But what do you know. everyone was only 2 – 3 plates in and there was a spot at the table where Jenny. D & Mandi L. were sitting (not like they saved it for me though. just pure coincidence pft!)
Drew didn’t give me any grief about being late, just caught me up on the game-​plan and Molly hooked it up with a bingo card ;]]]
I think the food over-​all is about 4 stars for me. I was really impressed with the size of their shrimp cocktail and enjoyed the lamb chops & sea bass. The crab legs tasted just as they do at all buffets but I liked how they have a hot option as well as chilled. I also really enjoyed the mochi ice cream.
The service, however, deserves 5 stars. Our servers were funny and kept the dranks flowing. I was very impressed with the people at the oyster section. The gentleman noticed I was picking through the oyster selection and brought over a tray of freshly shucked plump oysters and filled my plate! If you stuck around towards the end of the event, after Drew switched the channel of the big screen to football ;p, the servers brought out little cupcakes for everyone to take home, nice touch!
The whole idea of taking away the +1s was a good one because there were limited seats and it did kind of «force» you to interact more. I wish I could have mingled more but I was super late & overwhelmed with all the delicious food! Oh well, next time~!!!

I was out of town for last year’s Bacchanal event, so I was thrilled when I saw the listing for this event. I RSVP’d immediately and patiently awaited the confirmation email. I was one of the lucky few chosen to participate and it was absolutely fabulous.
I arrived at 7 on the dot and was pleased to encounter so many of my favorite Unilocalers and meet a few newbies as well. This was my first visit to Bacchanal and there was just so much to choose from, I was like a kid in a candy store. All the food was really solid. I especially enjoyed the lobster corn chowder, kalbi, crab and gelatos. The mango with chile limon was so refreshing,
The bingo was great fun, we didn’t win, but we still had a great time. Our table was a blast and we laughed the entire time. Can’t wait for the next event. Thank you to Drew, Molly and the entire staff at Bacchanal for such an amazing event.

I’ll keep it short and sweet (which is very unlike me).
This was a great elite privilege, the Bacchanal is a pretty fine buffet. Everything was fresh, of the two times I’ve been here, I didn’t really leave a lot on my plates. There usually is something I really disliked or tastes old at many buffets I’ve gone.
Bingo was a good activity for this. Good idea.
I’ll give the event 5 stars for what it is. Thank you Drew, Molly, Bacchanal’s entire hardworking staff.
It just sucks that it coincided with the worst night of my life. I know I wasn’t very talkative to people and looked morose in a corner and I want to apologize to those who I may have abruptly said hi to, and sauntered off. Sorry table if I was a slight downer, I’ll make it up to you at a future event. That is not who I am. Right before the event my wallet including my passport was stolen/​lost somewhere on the property. I was still shaken up and am still on high stress trying to put the pieces back together.

Happy Anniversary! Great night for Elites to gather and catch up while eating food inspired from all over the world.
Having a tour of the buffet before eating was a good way to get my appetite in full gear.
The Bingo games played in between visits back to the buffet was a fun way to pass time.
Having our own private room made me feel extra special!
I loved the crab legs, crab salad, and crème brûlée the most. The specialty Unilocal drink was tasty and refreshing.
I was able to walk out of the buffet full but not stuffed.

What a fantastic Elite Event! This was my first event as an Elite (thanks Shirley!). I was a little nervous showing up without a +1 but then I saw Shirley’s smiling face! I was there a little early as I found out many people were. It was awesome to meet everyone in person which whom I only know by a small little picture on my Unilocal app. Loren and Michele even recognized me by mine… or maybe it was my name tag. I still love it!
So it was my first time trying their buffet since it opened. I was absolutely trilled when I got my email confirmation. Drew and Molly arranged a fabulous event @ Bacchanal. It was an evening of eating and bingo! Fun Fun! We were escorted past the long line of people for a tour of the delicious splendor we were about to devour. We had a great private section in the back to mingle with old and many new friends. I was sitting with a fantastic group of Unilocalers… Tu Anh, Shirley, Roger, Sheila, Eric, Tony, Tasha, Amy and Emily. I partnered up with Shirley for our Bingo game. I think our bingo cards may have been switched since we didn’t win. LOL But congrats to the winners that walked away with some great prizes!
The employees of Bacchanal who greeted us and talked with us were welcoming for our night. It was great to meet one of the talented chefs who prepare this amazing food! The buffet offered Seafood, Italian, Asian, Mexican and so much more! There might have been a salad section my plate kept leading me in another direction… My review for my food? Loved it! The mushroom risotto was creamy and perfect. I love sushi! It had been a while since I had it since my husband doesn’t eat it so it was a perfect treat for my taste buds. The calamari was a little bit salty but it was still good. Broccoli & cheese… YUM. Pizza… YUM. Kung Pao… Kung WOW! Spicy and wonderful! Needless to say my dinner was YUM-​tastic! Dessert anyone? Of course! Thanks to Roger T for recommending the Mango Chile Lime Gelato. Such a unique flavor that I wouldn’t expect from a cold treat! Ice cream with a little kick! I’d definitely go back for that. Tony also recommended the soufflé. Unfortunately they just ran out a little while ago. Next time for sure! Our waiters were so attentive and cheerful! They made our night feel special! Loved our ‘Yelp’ drinks for sure!
It was a memorable night and I am so lucky to have been part of this wonderful event! I’m looking forward to many more fun nights with my fellow Unilocalers!

Great event! Caesars really rolled out the red carpet for us, and the buffet was amazeballs as usual. I had a hard time finding some of the new signature dishes they mentioned, but it was no biggie as there was plenty of other stuff for me to cram in my face.
I enjoyed meeting a bunch of my fellow Unilocalers, and left feeling pretty good. Somehow I managed to not go COMPLETELY overboard. Although I am headed to the gym right now to atone…

But they won’t taste as good as the food at Bacchanal. We were treated to the most sumptuous buffet in Vegas, from presentation to taste.
About 40 of us gathered for the First Anniversary celebration, complete with wine, beer, a special drink appropriately colored Unilocal Red, and enough food to feed a large Third-​World country for a year. I wish my capacity were bigger, because there were so many delectable things I just couldn’t try, but I managed well enough, having had the foresight to wear jeans with an elastic waist. We were seated in a private room way in back, giving us the opportunity to walk off a tiny bit of the massive calorie consumption.
We sat at tables of 10, and teamed up to play Food Bingo, with buffet passes as prizes. My teammate Eric and I didn’t win, but it was fun.
The chef made a brief appearance and invited questions, and the servers were exceptional.
Thanks to Drew Boo and Molly for putting together such an enjoyable and fulFILLing event!

I hate to be «that guy,» but hear me out.
Clearly, you can see the four stars at the top of this review. This is an event review, and I do think there was room for improvement with the event. It wasn’t very clear that we were supposed to play one sheet _​per round_​for bingo. That issue might’ve been moot if the second sheet had been passed out later. Also, the acoustics on the mic could have been better. It was loud enough, but maybe too heavy on the bass. And the biggest issue, of course, is that we didn’t get to see the football game until the very end. (Just kidding.)
Now that that’s out of the way, thanks so much to Drew, Molly, our photographer who I didn’t catch the name of, and the sensational staff of Bacchanal who made this a fantastic feast. I like how they made the area in the back of the wood section a private room by adding the divider wall, and I appreciated all the staff’s suggestions on what to consume.
Onward to the food/​drinks!
— Peach Green Tea: sweet without being too sweet, and both the peach and green tea flavors are present. Would definitely get again.
— Unilocal-​themed Cocktail: again, sweet but not too sweet. Definitely more on the girly side. It was served in a standard beverage glass, and I think it would have been nicer to serve it in a cocktail glass of some sort with a garnish. Not a dealbreaker for me (and it was free anyway), but the little touches would have elevated it.
— Oyster Shooter: just an oyster in an acidic and tomato-​y liquid. In case scared of the completely raw stuff for some reason. Not saying that I am. *shifty eyes*
— Tomahawk Rib Eye: tender and well-​seasoned as usual. A great alternative to the prime rib, as I’ve discovered from my past visits.
— Lamb Chops: my favorite dish! I only got two pieces so that I could save room for other items, but I could really eat this all night. It’s savory and surprisingly sweet at the same time, in a great way.
— Sweet Potato Tots: my favorite side. I wouldn’t go to a buffet to chow down only on sweet potatoes, but the crunchiness and sweetness of this item is perfect. I recommend getting one basket every time.
— Cocktail Shrimp: the largest shrimp offered at any buffet. Just
— Cold Crab Legs: there was something off about the smell (spoilage?), but at least it was stored in salt water at some point. Better than last time when it was really bland and I actually had to use melted butter. But later in the evening, I heard that they had warm crab legs in an entirely different section of the buffet. I wish that they had put up a sign or something to help us out, you know?
— Roast Duck: pretty good. Very fatty. But if you never have duck in your everyday routine, it’s a nice treat.
— Lamb Tagine with Couscous (special): I enjoyed it. The couscous wasn’t mushy, and the tagine was less salty than I’ve experienced before, as well as a little sweet. Oh, and I like lamb. Have I mentioned that? Check out this dish at the Italian station while it lasts!
— Sea Bass: the first bite was a little dry, but the rest of it was very juicy and balanced.
— Lobster Corn Chowder: probably tied for the crab legs with disappointment of the night. It wasn’t served in a fancy bowl, and it was saltier than I’ve remembered. I did notice more of the I-hope-it’s-lobster meat than in the past, but that didn’t overcome my overall impression.
— Oreo Dessert: after tasting this, I had to get two. There’s a tiny Oreo cookie standing on a half dome of a sort of chocolate mousse. Great already, right? Now cut into it, and at the bottom you’ll find a full-​sized Oreo cookie! A great play on a processed product
— Baba: a small very light and airy cake served in I-can’t-tell-what-that-sweet-sauce-is on a small plastic tray. I probably could’ve eaten several. I think there was some honey flavor? Even if you’re absolutely stuffed, you’ll still have room for this. I had seconds.
— Chocolate Tart: if you like chocolate, this speaks for itself.
— Cheesecake: an even smaller portion than I normally see at these buffets. If you like cheesecake, this speaks for itself.
— Chocolate dipped strawberry: there’s nothing special about it other than the fact that I don’t see this often at a buffet. Oh, and the strawberries are big. But other than that, nothing special. Well, except that it’s a chocolate-​dipped strawberry. Mmm…
— Ice Cream: sorry, still doesn’t have that «gelato» texture for me. But the brown butter caramel and blood orange sorbet flavors were yummy.
— Special Cupcake: so for those who stayed until the end, they brought out these cupcakes in a plastic box. Each cupcake was garnished with a piece of white chocolate with the #1 and the Bacchanal Buffet logo on it. I kinda messed up the icing on this item though, so maybe I should actually eat it.
All in all, had a great night and enjoyed losing bingo with Justin G. and the rest of the table mates. I’m hitting the character limit, unfortunately. Who knew that it existed?

So I was starting to wonder if my Elite status was ever going to come. And sure enough, I got it right on time!!! So I can officially say this was my first Elite event and I feel so lucky to have been in the presence of such fine food and even better people.
I arrived at the buffet early since I was off at 5 and didn’t feel like driving all the way back home. No worries though because Roger and Tony were there to keep me company. We then saw the oh so pretty Molly with all of our name tags and soon after, we were led to our private dining room. So fancy! We were given a tour of the buffet, but I couldn’t really hear anything since I was too busy admiring all the food. Our CM Drew introduced himself and the rest of the Bacchanal management staff and off we all went!
My game plan was to have one plate in each hand every time I went to get food to maximize my buffet experience. I got to sample so many items, but man it was pretty difficult trying to double fist it. I was amazed at how much I ate. The complimentary white wine and the special Unilocal drink was also a plus!!! I must say that the dessert was the highlight of the meal. The green macarons and blood orange sorbet was my favorite.
There were two rounds of food bingo. For the first round, Loren and I came oh so close to winning. We just needed chocolate chip cookie to win. Instead, Drew called chocolate macaroon, which made Michele and Tom win. For the second round, we didn’t even come close. The winners for the second round were Vanessa and Paolo. Congrats to all the winners!
Again, props to Drew, Molly and the rest of the Bacchanal staff for hosting such an amazing event. I had a blast and thank you for making my first Elite event so memorable.

Impressive culinary spread we had for Buffet Bingo! It was my first time here at Bacchanal Buffet.
My favorite dishes had to be their lamb chops and Waygu Beef sliders. The Leek potstickers and Charsui Pork buns were unique buffet items and a must at the Asian station. Lucky I made room for desserts cause that’s where I totally went overboard getting mochi balls in Green Tea, Red Bean and Kona Coffee ice cream… first buffet to see that at! Pretty sweet!
Checking in went smoothly because Miss Molly T was organized and had our Unilocal nametags ready to go. We got to be the first group of nine to get the grand tour given by Julietta, then we were led to a private dining room set just for our Unilocal group. CM Drew had our tables set up with «bingo cards» and the required Unilocal swag, pens & mints.
Our lovely table consisted of new and old faces. Bethany, brand new 2 week old Elite! Congrats! First time to meet Tasha, Eric, and Tu too.

Bingo was hoot. .what was up with our cards at our table though, right guys? Congrats to the lucky winners who got the dinner for 2 at Bacchanal.
Chef Justin popped in and and made the rounds to our tables, the servers did a great job keeping up with clearing our tables and keeping our glasses filled.

Why am I so hungry this morning? About a decade ago, I would have completely killed that buffet. Alas, my metabolism isn’t what it used to be.
The event itself was fantastic. Bacchanal and their staff really catered to us. We had our own private room in the back. Chef Jason came out to answer any of our questions. They created a «Make You Unilocal» cocktail for us. Taylor even took some of us on a little buffet tour. You can tell she is incredibly enthusiastic about the place.
On the Unilocal side, Drew and Molly put on a fun couple of rounds of BINGO. I was lucky enough to be sitting next to someone who won. I let Vanessa P take the two buffet dinner vouchers. It was her card anyway. I walked away with a snazzy Gansevoort cap. Now I just need Giada to sign it.
As for the buffet, it is certifiably massive. You need a Disney-​like multi-​day pass in order to truly appreciate it all. From what I did try, my favorites include the chicken feet (I could probably just keep eating those), tomahawk ribeye, lamb chop, and the pan seared sea bass (excellent). I love their butter dispenser for the crab legs. Finally, I loved the chocolate lava cake topped with some ice cream. I was disappointed that there was no soufflé (Taylor completely sold us on it during the tour). Also, the mochi was essentially already melted.
Would I pay $ 40 – 50 for this buffet? Probably not. Maybe closer to $ 30. I’m cheap. Obviously, there are many people who do pay the price and they are treated to a great buffet. (Note that it was my first time, so I can’t compare to when they first opened).

Molly — check. CM — check. Elite friends — check. Appetite — check. Good food — check. Good times — check.
Some of us prepared for this event. Marie T only ate a pear and a PB sandwich for the whole day. Some of us didn’t eat at all. I went to the gym at 5am. *game face on*
We got there 30 minutes before the event and Molly was already there handing out name tags to the early birds. The event started on time and we skipped the crazy line to get in and we were taken to a secret room where only Elite Unilocalers were let in. We were given a tour by the GM of Bacchanal and even though I’ve already been here a few times, I still liked the tour. 225 desserts, over 500 different kinds of dishes… wow!
The food was good. A lot of changes in food and quality since I’ve been here a few months ago. New items: black chicken, horchata, Thai tea ice cream (highlight of my evening), mochi ice cream… that’s all I can remember right now. We made several trips to the seafood, BBQ, Italian, Asian and dessert stations. We had a special drink called Make Me Unilocal that has cranberry juice and whiskey… I dunno but it was good. AYCD MMY, wine, beer and non-​alcoholic beverages. I wanted to try the pistachio soufflé…no soufflés available for the evening. *sad face*
We played bingo. The winners Tom F, Michele H, Vanessa and Paolo D got free dinner passes to Bacchanal. Sweet! The other winners like Regina, got caps and vodka. Vodka! I didn’t win so I’m dropping this review to 1-​star. Hahaha! Nah! The Thai tea gelato was a good enough prize for me. and my name tag on Marie T’s right boob by the end of the night…
It was a great event. Everyone at our table remembered to tip well. Yay! Good seeing familiar faces and it was nice meeting you Sharonlee, Asian Julie K, Dave N, Regina and Tu. So, thank you Drew and Molly for an awesome event. SYOY! :)

As I am typing this review 24 hours later, I don’t think I have eaten anything since then!
First off, I am not into bingo. Even that one song with that dog never really appealed to me. But, since im an Elite and this is considered a privilege, I RSVP’d. Oh, and the food is not such bad thing either.
So I get the confirmation the Sunday before. Immediately I planned on eating nothing but salad leading up to this event because come on, nobody goes to a buffet just to eat salad let alone a really nice one. Of course the salads they have here are not your ordinary salad but that’s besides the point.
Ok, enough about salads. Let’s talk about dressings. Just kidding. Let’s talk about the arrival. I was so excited for this event that I showed up at 5 knowing that the event started at 6:30. Forget better late than never, I was earlier than heck! Ok, so I was the first one, but not for long because Marie T showed up followed by Tony T (Cue the Friends theme song). So we shoot the breeze and not long after, Molly T shows up with all the name tags with our names already written on them. Talk about being prepared! It seemed as soon as Molly showed up, a bunch of Elites showed up out of nowhere.
So we are taken back to a our very own private room in the back of the venue complete with tables, chairs, a large flat screen LCD, and… Drew, our Community Manager! For those that had the privilege of making it the first time around last year, this private room is actually the same place we held it in but with no wall and flatscreen. This time around, we really felt special because I guarantee there were no other groups with their own room there this evening.
Next, Drew introduced himself and officially started the event. Never mind the food, this event in itself deserves all 5 stars. We all know that Bacchanal Buffet itself is great for they have their own high rating with over a thousand reviews on their business listing. So I respectfully say the great food came in second to this event.
Now for the main event. After eating all the various goodies the buffet has to offer, we start the bingo game. Rules were to partner up with another Elite member and mark all the spaces that had food descriptions on it when it was called. I had the lovely Tu Anh T as my bingo partner and ironically this just happens to be her very first Unilocal event Elite or not. I coudnt of asked for a nicer partner! We played twice but didn’t win anything which wasn’t true because everybody was already a winner when they were luckily selected for this event.
Shout outs go out to my table mates Eric S, who I was trading one liners with all night, Tony T, who I owe 10 bucks to because I thought I had cash in my wallet for the tip (two monsters at SnowFlake should make up for it right? Lol), all the nice ladies that I just met for the first time which were Tu Anh T, Amelinda L, Sheila G, Bethany E, Emily R, and Tasha T, last but not least, Shirley B, who always makes me smile when I see her. I also would like to acknowledge all those that greeted me and vice versa. You know who you are and you all hold a special place in my Unilocal heart.
Props goes out to Drew, Molly, and the rest of the Unilocal crew that made this possible. I know how complex setting these things up can be but man, you guys make it look easy!
Special props goes out to the fine folks at Bacchanal Buffet just for even thinking of bringing us back to celebrate their 1 year anniversary with them! You guys are what other buffets should strive to be. And yes, any and all wait is worth it to eat here and im not a patient one either.
In closing, if I never ever go to another Unilocal event, this last one was a pretty good one to go out on.

Wow! How amazeness was this elite event! I’m so thrilled that Drew and the rest of the Unilocal LV crew provided such an amazing event for the Eliterati!
Let me say that this buffet is GARGANTUAN! I had absolutely no clue where to begin. And truthfully I know I probably only seen 20% of the entire buffet cuz my petite frame couldn’t handle another full plate of food (I had two and a half by the point I wanted dessert). Out of everything I ate I would have to say the steamed fish in the asian section was sooooo yummy. Melted in my mouth. Second would have to be the mini tacos. They taste just like the taco trucks and we all know that we follow those taco trucks. You can get pork, steak, or chicken and I got the steak. I think I could have ate possibly two more if I didn’t fill my plate mile high with the fresh seafood: oysters, mussels, crab legs, oh mi oh my!!!
Dessert – I don’t even know where to begin. There was so much dessert I seriously was only able to take two bites off of everything cuz it’s neverending. I would suggest eating your ice creams or mochis first as I was a silly pants and ate those last w/​o even thinking about it as I wanted to dive straight into the sea of macaroons.
The exclusive You’re Makin Me Unilocal drink was excellent. Not too strong not too watered down either.
Now as for the bingo, I allowed my partner to do the heavy lifting and listen to Drew call off the food — truthfully I was way too busy stuffing my face! lol We had a winners’ table as Vanessa and her team mate won! Lucky dogs!!!
All in all I’m soooooo so happy and fortunate that I got to celebrate in the year anniversary of Bacchanal. Cheers to many more anniversaries!!!

When are Unilocal Elite events NOT fun??! I had a blast with my fellow Elite members — reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones! Especially when we were around the buffet, discussing plate strategies.
I was part of the first group to enter Bacchanal and we were escorted around the buffet for a tour and short explanation of the stations (our guide recommended the tacos and Hot & Sour Soup). Then, we were taken through a hidden door to a private dining room (very cool). The dining room was spacious and elegant, perfect for the event. The gentlemen that were responsible for our beverages and tables were very kind and prompt. I enjoyed the bottled water, Peach Green Tea (recommended by the staff), and special «You’re Making Me Unilocal» cocktail.
The buffet is so overwhelming! The layout is beautiful and I love the décor! The use of glass jars and bottles, pots, cast iron pans, baskets. It was gorgeous. I felt like one of the children that visited the Willa Wonka Chocolate Factory. Sensory overload. I was just so excited, I didn’t have a game plan; I just dived in. I visited all the stations three times, so I tried to sample the items that seemed most appealing (I’m sure I still managed to miss things, I mean, they do have 500 menu items!).
Favorite items of the evening: Lobster Corn Chowder (thanks for the suggestion Sheila!), Seafood Paella, Fingerling Potatoes, Wagyu Slider, Carne Asada Taco (all toppings), Kielbasa Sausage, Prime Rib (medium rare), Green Beans, and Glazed Carrots. The Ceviche, Char Siu Bao, Mushroom Risotto, and Gratin Potatoes were good, but not amazing (some a little salty). I didn’t try a lot of the seafood, but they looked really good! I feel like you definitely need two different meals to cover the spread well.
I have to talk about Dessert separately because it is really that awesome. I almost didn’t make it, but with the support of my table, I’m glad I did lol. Our tour guide also raved about the crepes, so I had to try them. I love the topping choices for your crepes! So personalized! I chose their fresh whipped cream with caramelized bananas and toasted almonds (sprinkled a little powdered sugar to make it extra pretty) and it was SO good! The crêpe itself was really tasty. If I could have, I would’ve gotten another one! I also LOVE their ice cream bar featuring ice creams, sorbets, and mochi ice cream! I mean, wow! There are so many amazing flavors to choose that I may start with dessert the next time I’m there! I went with Mango Chili Lime sorbet and Vanilla Fleur de Sel ice cream. Both flavors were amazing! I also picked up tiramisu (good!), a couple macarons, and another unnamed dessert… but I didn’t get to try the rest of them. Sad face. Haha, no it’s all good.
Overall, really great night and I can’t wait to go back (I’ll have a better plan of attack). The buffet-​themed BINGO was fun (congratulations to the winners!) and it was nice to meet the Chef behind it all. Thank you Unilocal,Drew, and Caesars for having so many of us for this amazing event! :)

Celebrating the one year anniversary of the Bacchanal Buffet, Unilocal Elites came out in «Feast Mode» and some even skipped lunch (I did!) for this Gluttonfest! After checking in with Molly, our group was led through the various stations and finally led to a back room where other Elites were mixing and mingling, sipping on the «Make You Unilocal» drink, a very refreshing concoction!
There was something for everyone here-​from Dim Sum to Sushi, to Phở, Ramen, and Tacos, a Seafood lover’s «candy store of crustaceans» and a carving station that would make a meatatarian jump for joy! The Chef and General Manager of Bacchanal were also on hand to answer any questions regarding the food items and other aspects of the buffet itself.
In between visits to the buffet, we got to play a couple of rounds of Buffet Bingo which was a lot of fun and at times, very competitive. Wifey and I got oh so close, but yet oh so far. Congrats to all the winners!
I paced myself as best I could, getting little bites of sushi, cheeses, tacos, and other savory creations making sure I had room for desserts. Standouts for me were the Chef’s Special Lamb Tagine, Truffled Scalloped Potatoes Au-​Gratin, Wagyu Slider, and the Lamb Chops from the carving station. Amazingly enough, I didn’t attack any oysters or crab legs as I had originally intended to, but I still had room for a bowl full of ice cream, and at the end of the evening, in the traditional Unilocal Elite fashion, a person was «IT!» Marie T. was that lucky Unilocaler who accumulated various nametags!
MASSSIVE MAHALOS to The staff at Baccanal Buffet, Molly T., and our CM Drew for organizing another Unilocaltastic evening! ALOHA!!!

I had to rush to get home so I could review this wonderful event! This was my second opportunity to attend the Bacchanal Buffet with Unilocal.This was also my first Unilocal Elite event with our newest Community Manger, Drew! Such a great guy! As always, Molly was there with a bright smile on her face as his right hand (wo)man.
Unlike the last Bacchanal event, this time, we were brought into our very own private room. Talk about Elite! There were literally 6 huge round tables seating about 9 guests at each. The idea was to choose a seat and randomly meet other elite members. During this time, you would partner up with another elite and play a game of Bacchanal Bingo! Great prizes were given, such as swag (caps, shot glasses, t-​shirts) and the grand prize: each member in the duo team would win a pair of free Bacchanal Buffet tickets! Almost a $ 100 prize! Unfortunately, my partner, Charles Alvin, and I didn’t win, however the game was fun! Various dishes around the buffet line served as bingo slots. Such a creative way to help us digest between plates!
Speaking of dishes, man oh man! I ate a lot of food. I always love coming to the Bacchanal Buffet because of the small portions, different options and delicious dishes!!! Some of the items I got this time around included:
Make You Unilocal Drink: Cranberry Juice, Vodka and Crown Royal. Definitely a strong drink so watch out!
Peach Green Tea: Really refreshing! A little sweet but not to overpowering! The light green color reminds you of the green tea :)
Medium rare cut of Prime Rib: Always a good choice. Wished it was a little more seasoned but maybe just my specific cut
Ahi Nigiri: Very small portions. Really good for one biters. Super fresh!
Leeks Dim Sum: Not only veggies. Keep in mind, there’s pork in it as well, but super flavorful
Beef Broccoli: the sauce was not to overpowering and I really liked the fact that the broccoli was super crunchy!
Korean Short Ribs: Definitely a marbleized choice. If that’s your thing (which it’s mine), then don’t forget that!
Crab Legs: Love how they cut the legs in half so you don’t have to break it. Here’s the secret: The steamed legs are located around the corner by the Italian food and not by the seafood station. The head chef told us it’s because the line get crazy at the seafood station so they had to relocate it.
Shucked oysters: Always a crowd pleaser. I heard it was an aphrodisiac but who knows. I felt fine.
Now here’s my top items of the evening:
Phở: OH-​EM-​GEE! Although the noodles were a bit less translucent than what I’m used to, the broth was on point! Beef broth cooked the rare shaved beef and warmed the bean sprouts, jalapenos, cilantro and lime I added
Crepes: Homemade crepes, c’mon! They make it in front of you. I added Nutella, mixed berries, whipped cream and toasted almonds. Great dessert to end your evening… or begin your evening, depending on your preference :)
Scalloped Truffle Potatoes: AH-​MAZE-​ING! They used to serve it in mini cast iron pots, but the staff said people were taking them so they resorted to small plates. The potatoes are cut like a piece of cake. It literally just melts in your mouth and the shaved truffles brings this dish to a whole new level!
Lollipop Lamb: I LOVE lamb. I’ve tasted a lot of lamb in my days. This lamb is PERFECT! The internal temperature was just right, the seasoning was on point. The meat seemed to just break apart and needed no steak knife. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
**Number one dish of the night for me** Grilled Sea Bass: Man this dish is THE BEST type of fish I’ve had in a long time! Start with a perfectly grilled piece of Sea Bass. Nice flat top marks on it. The buttery sauce really enhanced the overall flavor. The fish was super flaky and although I used this before in my review, it absolutely melted in my mouth. WOW, that was amazing. Simply amazing.
Another highlight was a visit by the head chef and general manager who answered a bunch of questions about the buffet. Since my last review, I’ve learned a couple of different updates. First, I originally was told that there was no back kitchen. In actuality, 90% of the kitchen is in the open, 10% is in the back for for overflow. Chefs actually arrive at work at 5am to start cooking for the mega buffet. Secondly, I thought there were no heat lamps over the food like most buffets. I was part right in that there are no heat lamps however, every hot food has an induction type cooking top under the dishes. What that means is that you can touch the top with your bare hands and not get burned. Each serving dish and pot that’s placed on the top has some sort of special material in it that will activate the induction heaters and will only heat that specific item. HOW COOL IS THAT!
