I’ve been coming here since March and I’m always happy with my nails! They’re painted and filed evenly and the techs are always nice. Eric did my nails last time and gave the perfect coffin shape! Definitely would recommend.

My best friend and I usually go to 4 Ur Nails on Flamingo but we didn’t feel like driving all the way there so we ended up coming to this place. I wanted a full set since my natural nails were long as hell. The lady kept telling me «if you get full set you’ll go owwie» so I’m like okay fine I’ll just get a fill then cuz she seems like she knows what she’s doing. I was told that full is 25 dollars. She asked me if I wanted gel I said yes then all of a sudden the total went to 50! Had I known that I would’ve just went to 4 Ur Nails as it only would’ve been 35 for a full set gel !!! The lady didn’t do the fading on my nails right and I felt like she was rushing. The lady was nice we had a lot of laughs and everything but I was not satisfied with my nails :(I read good reviews but I guess I’m one of the few they failed to satisfy

Eric!!! I love you! Seriously though… Eric is the best nail artist I’ve ever been to, EVER! He’s soooooo talented, creative and can replicate any nail design, or do something new on the spot and it is always gorgeous. My gel nails always last 3 – 4 weeks… no chipping, breaking. My nails are strong and always grow long. They’re amazing! I’ve been going to him for 2 years now, and have made the mistake of NOT going to him and my nails break in less than a week. Real talk. You won’t regret it!

I’ve just recently decided to start reviewing on Unilocal,and the review I’m writing for this place is severely overdue – by about 8 months actually. I visited Excellent Nails last August because the new school semester was starting and my nails looked like a hot mess, and I actually remembered reading on Unilocal that Eric (the manager) at Excellent Nails gives great manicures so I was like well shit I’m going to get my nails done here. Much to my disappointment, I regret ever giving this place my business. I remember the incident that occurred extremely well because the treatment I received from the manager still irks me to this day. When I got to the nail salon, despite not having an appointment, they took me in which was nice. One of the first things I told Eric was that I wanted gel on my toenails and gel acrylics on my fingernails, and he expressed no hesitation at doing it. Initially, Eric was very friendly and easy to converse with because he asked questions about what school I go to, where I work, etc. The pedicure turned out absolutely amazing, and the massage he gave left my calves feeling like jelly. It was during the massage that I was like «wow! I’ve found my new nail spot!» After the pedicure, Eric lead me to the table where I’d be getting the manicure. He did the usual protocol and trimmed/​shaped my nails etc. but then he started painting on my actual nail and I was like wait, why are you painting my fingernails, I want acrylics? And then his demeanor totally changed. He started huffing and puffing all angrily as if I did some incredible disservice to him and intentionally left out the part that I wanted acrylics. I guess he had an appointment right after me and he was running late so then he starts putting on the acrylics carelessly and just trying to get the job done ASAP. Throughout this, he’s berating me and questioning why I didn’t mention that I wanted acrylics and I was like UMMM I literally said in plain English that I wanted gel acrylics on my fingernails, how the hell is that a misleading statement? And he said «you’re supposed to say full set! etc.» and I’m like holy shit dude, they’re the same fucking thing, every nail salon I’ve been to I’ve told them I wanted gel acrylics and they gave me gel acrylics without any confusion. Of course I didn’t actually curse at him or anything like that, if anything I regret not giving the guy a piece of my mind because I was actually apologetic in the moment that I was making his next appointment wait. He finished putting the acrylics on (two of them were crooked) and painted them (uneven application), and throughout the whole process he didn’t try to initiate conversation as he had when I first arrived. It was extremely awkward and when I left all he muttered was a halfhearted «thank you» and that was it, didn’t invite me to come back or anything. I wouldn’t go to this place if he offered me a year of free manicures, I dislike his awful attitude and you’d do well to avoid inconveniencing him (even if it wasn’t your fault and it was merely a miscommunication) because his reaction will shock you.

Great service. Mani pedi was perfect great location. Totally recommend this place to anyone. They take the time and care. Took my daughter to and they were very good with her.

Eric is simply gifted. The salon is nice and clean. The wait time is always reasonable, unlike my previous salon, where they would book several appointments at the same time for a single nail tech. He devotes his time and attention to you. They are polite and prices are very reasonable. My new favorite place for sure!

I have such beautiful toes!!! I do not know the name of the nail tech I saw today, but he was amazing! I had a gel polish change on my toes. I loved that he soaked off the old gel polish. Filed my nails down just right, was very thorough and gentle.
There was huge selection of colors, designs, glitters. They have it all. I called ahead of time and was able to go over right away and be seen. The salon was quiet and calm. It was a very relaxing experience. I was offered water the second I walked in, was seated promptly, and was still finding a color for the next 5 minutes while the tech started removing the existing gel polish.
I will be a returning customer. I am so thankful for Unilocal.I read multiple reviews between Friday night and this morning. I gave another salon a quarter mile closer to my home a chance. But after getting an answering machine, then driving over to be a walk-​in, only to find the salon closed when their hours on Saturday were 9-​?, and I stopped by after ten. So Excellent was my second choice and it was meant to be!!!
I have been looking for a new nail salon/​tech. My work schedule changed two months ago. I work on the west side of town and my old nail girl was close to my office in Henderson.
I took a chance and thanks to all the reviews and it paid off. I could not be happier!

This is my nail salon! I love this salon. It’s very cute, well lit and very easy to get to! I always see Eric, who is by far the best in town. I love his style, how precise he is and how artistic he is! I even got waxed here and am so happy with the outcome! The only salon I recommend in Vegas!

Late review but I came in on a Saturday and service was alright at best. Prices are really cheap, but you definitely pay for what you get. I called to make sure they weren’t busy and they told me to come right in.
I walked in and was told to pick a color. I got white gel on acrylics. They were a bit busy so I waited about 15 minutes until someone could get to me. No big deal. But it had gotten busy as the guy was doing my nails. I felt really rushed and my nails definitely show it. The white wasn’t solid, the powder acrylic is bumpy and the nails aren’t all a uniform shape. He only spent about 20 minutes on my nails and then told me to wash my hands and that I was done.
Service is probably better on slower days but I definitely won’t be back.

I absolutely love this place. Eric is a total sweetheart, who does the most amazing nails ever and I’ve had them done in Australia as well as a few other places here in the USA. This place is the best by far and it’s only a few minutes from where I live. The staff are friendly and courteous. Did I mention I adore Eric !

My friend lives very close by and recommended the place. I checked them out and I was very pleased. Lady who helped me was very nice and took her time. She gave me a great foot and hand massage. The gentleman that greets you was very nice and welcoming. If I need service when in Vegas, I will certainly come back.

The service here was amazing. As soon as I sat down I was offered water and asked if I wanted to read a magazine. They were very kind and very attentive — every single person.
After wearing acrylic nails for 2 years straight with no breaks, I decided to finally have them taken off and do a regular gel mani and a pedicure. Usually when you go to get nails removed they rip them off and your poor hands and nails and left jagged and sad. But Trish was so gentle. She soaked them off and sanded them down. When she was done my nails didn’t look half bad after all.
She then gave me an awesome pedicure and manicure. I will definitely be back!

Just visited Excellent Nails once again and was not disappointed. Amanda was awesome! I have very thick calluses that are difficult to remove and Amanda got my heels smooth and soft again. I will definitely be asking for her on my next visit.

Love this nail salon! I’ve look high and low for a fabulous nail salon, it’s been hard to find a place Since I’ve moved here from Cali. These is the spot Eric does an amazing job. I’ve been here twice and always leave a happy camper hands down!

Loved this little place. Clean and really nice people. They did a great job on my nails and I am picky. They were gentle and the price is right where it should be for the work they do.

My nails are super thin and fragile, I came in to get my acrylics filled but when I sat down with the tech she said they were starting to lift so she said I should do a new set. Well when she took them off, what was left was jagged thin nails so she suggested doing gel instead.
I usually don’t like gel cause it’s put on really thick so it looks unnatural but Lisa took her time to even out my nail bed and the polish so they look great! She also said the gel will make them grow longer and stronger. I’ll definitely be back!

I have been going to this salon since it opened in 2005. It’s changed owners and management a few times but I would continue to go because of the location. I can tell you this owner and this Manager Eric are by far the best I’ve ever seen there. The salon is clean, it has amble section of polishes, higher grade salts and lotions used during pedicures and they even have Netflix so you can request something to watch.
Eric and his team of nail professionals always do a great job. I never have to wait too long for my appointment to start and I also never feel hurried out.
This is my far the best nail salon for your money in this area too.

Loved! Today was my first
Them getting my nails done here and I absolutely love them. The staff was nice. One of the gentleman asked me what I wanted to watch on TV and played it. The timing was also perfect. Now rush and not too slow. I love the color and shape of my nails. I’ve had horrible experiences at other salons where they don’t even know how to make this shape. But they are awesome!
