This was my first visit at an extended stay hotel. I was staying at another hotel during the week and need a room for one night. Went to a discount site and got a really good deal, so decided to stay here. I checked out of my other hotel at 11am and didn’t want to kill time till 3pm waiting to check in so I decided to stop in and ask them if an earlier time would be possible. The woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and nice to me, and told me that it would be difficult because they were still turning over the rooms. Totally understood, but she then checked her sheet and told me my room had actually been finished and told me I could check in right away. I was so grateful for the accommodation. They gave a sheet explaining the hours, the layout of the facility and some general rules. In addition they provided free wifi and login info. When I went in to the room it was laid out quite well and very clean. The furniture and cabinets show a bit of wear but that’s no different then most hotels I guess. My only issue was the smell of curry in the room. You can cook in these rooms, so someone must have cooked the dish and used the fan which only circulates in the room. When people cook with curry the smell that lingers in the oil that sticks to the fan. If anyone from the facility reads this, tell housekeeping to remove the filter screen and clean the orange oil droplets in the fan. My room was 331, if you get that room, ask for a different room if possible. You get a decent size flat screen with a dvd player and accesses to hdmi, rca and other inputs that make a Roku or laptop easy to connect if you want to stream. Or you can stop at a redbox and rent a dvd and watch it if you like. They allow you to request items you may have forgotten, like a tooth brush or tooth paste. You can also request pans and other kitchen related items which is a huge plus. My understanding is that they don’t clean the room every day and may do it weekly for an extended stay, though you should check the website for more details. I really loved the layout and look of my room which doesn’t translate in the pictures. I was expecting something along the lines of a cheap motel but it feels more upscale than that. They have a pool which is small but nice on the side of the building. They offer free breakfast from 6−930am. You will need a key card to walk in to the front lobby in the evening. The property is located off the strip so you will need to have a car. It’s near banks, super markets, retail, liquor, fast food and restaurants. I haves checked out yet, but my experience has been amazing so far, and will follow up when I do check out. I will definitely stay here in the future.
