I went to this office yesterday awesome staff they really make going to the dentist very comfortable the dentist is very personable and explains what to expect throughout the process the front desk staff are very polite the dentist assistant is very kind and personable as well the office is very neat clean and relaxing and the most important part they are affordable and willing to set you up with a treatment plan to benefit you I will be returning

I have just recently moved to Las Vegas and needed dental work. I hate the dentist. I wouldn’t call it a phobia just a extreme dislike for the process. Dr. Art was my dentist on my first visit and I thought I was going to need an extraction but I was pleasantly suprised when he said he could save it with a root canal. The dental hygienist was absolutely phenomenal in her ability to deliver the numbing agent painlessly. Seriously, it was painless. Never have I had that kind of experience at the dentist. Chris was the dental assistant and was also very good at his job. Very informative and a pleasure to talk to.
Finally Dr Art should be awarded dentist of the year imho. His professionalism and expertise is far surpassing any dentist I have ever visited. I will be going to this place for the rest of my life. And since he’s younger than I am, I expect that he will be my dentist when I’m 60. 5 star review does not seem adiquate. I’ll add two thumbs up as well and a soon to be bright white pain free smile.

Dr Arthur and Adriana Rivera made me feel like family here! Everything was great, definitely going back again.

I am not a huge fan of dentists, but… Dr. Abdolin is great! The staff at Floss Dental are super friendly and professional and I have never waited in the lobby for more than 5 minutes before being called! I have been able to get my dental needs met over my lunch hour! Dental Assistant Chris has a great personality and keeps me laughing while he’s working hard to get my teeth cleaned or x-​rayed! I am very pleased with the services and I HIGHLY recommend Floss Dental!

I’ve had a bad experiences with shady dentists before and this was one of them. I had been to my own dentist in California not less than 8 months before seeing Dr. Tounian so I knew my teeth were in good shape. All I wanted was to get the exam/​X-​rays/​cleaning for $ 40 and start a new relationship since I had recently moved to Vegas, but deeply disappointed with his dishonesty. Like others, I did not get the cleaning as advertised because Dr. Tounian said I needed scaling and planing. That’s an extremely aggressive deep cleaning (not to mention expensive) and my own dentist in California confirmed that not only was it unnecessary but would damage the enamal on my teeth, aggravate my gums and way beyond what I needed. Dr. Tounian also told me that I needed a couple fillings and a crown that would’ve put me over $ 2k worth of work. Those claims were also confirmed to be false by my dentist as my teeth are in good shape. On top of everything, when I asked for copies of my X-​rays from Floss Dental I got 1″ square paper photo copies. What is my dentis going to do with those besides have a good laugh? Steer clear of any dentist with low pricing. It’s never a good sign. Needless to say, I’ll be driving to California to stay with my old dentist since he seems to be the last living honest one left.

I have never been so disappointed in the humanity of a company as I am in Floss Dental. I had been going to them for quite some time then I made an appointment for a routine cleaning. I had new insurance, so I gave them all the information. During my appointment, I was asked if I wanted a deep cleaning. I said ONLY if my insurance covers it. The tech walked away, came back and said I was good to go. Months later, I receive a bill in the mail for $ 750. I called to find out why. Apparently, my insurance did not cover Floss since they are a «premium provider.» This information was not told to me when I made my appointment. I also made a point to ask the appointment maker if my insurance covered it. She said YES. So why did I get a bill? Months following the first bill, Floss called me and said they would reprocess it. I never got a call back, but the next phone call I did get regarding Floss was a lovely collection agency. My bill now has «interest & charges» of $ 300 added onto it. It’s ridiculous the lack or morality Floss has as a company. No integrity, whatsoever. Bottom line, I will never recommend this place to anyone. And if you do happen to go, double check yourself and make sure you know what your insurance covers or they will take advantage of you.

I recently moved from Vegas to Texas. I’ve always went to floss when I lived there and had a great experience. I’ll admit it: I’m still the adult scared of the dentist. Luckily I found floss and everyone there is really amazing. When I was in town they managed to squeeze me in their schedule at the last minute. One of the best things about this place is their not out to make money their genuinely there to help. They’ll explain everything and why it is or isn’t necessary. It’s also a great place for kids both my nephews go there. Dr. Tounian is awesome knew I could trust him when I saw his snazzy shoes ;]

Best dentist in Las Vegas for sure. Great atmosphere overall. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Everyone in the office is very positive and I had a great experience.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Tounian and his staff. I’ve lived in Vegas off and on for the last 7 years and this was by far the best customer service experience I have had. Being a new patient I was scheduled promptly and treated warmly from the second I walked in the door. I had a red eye to catch that night and they made my appointment as quick & painless as possible considering I hadn’t been to the dentist in over a year I was nervous about that. My teeth felt amazing and I will be back for my regular cleanings regardless of whatever city I’m residing in.

I have been to a few dentists in Las Vegas throughout the years, but I have to say, Floss Dental on Durango (formerly on Rainbow) has been the best experience to-​date.
There is little-​to-​no wait time in the lobby! If your appointment is at 9, they will shuttle you into the exam room and begin x-​rays almost immediately. This was a nice change given waiting times at other dental offices.
The hygienists and dentists are friendly and very open with any concerns. Fortunately, I haven’t had any need to get serious work done so I am not knowledgeable regarding major dental work.

Deep Cleaning… Did I just get scammed?
I moved to Vegas last year and was recommended here by coworkers and was so happy. I left with a $ 350 bill for a Deep Cleaning which I didn’t ever have before but I was fine because, compared to my other dentists office, then these people were so nice and I felt like I finally found a dentist office I could trust.
But then I started talking to another coworker that went to Floss a few months ago. She too said that she got a filling replaced for some reason ($ 75) and also got a Deep Cleaning based on the Dentists recommendation. And so did the original girl who recommended me. And so did her spouse. None of us knew what a «Deep Cleaning» actually was so we started doing research.
Apparently Deep Cleanings are important for people with gum disease. You don’t have to be old but If the tooth is wearing down or you’ve got pockets (?) then they need to be cleaned. But even if you have a gum issue, they can be done by quadrant if its not a severe case which would drastically save you money. But all of us were given full deep cleanings.
We’re all in our late 20’s, have healthy teeth but None of us ever needed Deep Cleaning before. Yet on our first individual visits to Floss then all of us coincidentally required «Deep Cleaning»? I feel bad for questioning this place because the people here really did make me feel comfortable, but I can’t help to wonder about what happened and now my next appointment will be somewhere else.

As someone who absolutely hates going to the dentist office, I must say this is my best experience I have ever had. I was greeted right away by the really nice girls behind the desk. I only waited for about five minutes before my name was called. Dr. Tounian was so nice and made me feel very comfortable. I had a cavity that needed filling and I am terrified of shots BUT the hygienist was so nice and careful and I didn’t feel a thing! Not a thing! Not only that but she was able to get all the build up off of my permanent retainer that anther office told me I needed a very expensive deep cleaning for. The Dr. was just as gentle when filling the cavity, it didn’t hurt at all. The office was very clean and very friendly. I wont be going anywhere else from now on, especially since they send text message reminders!

What a waste of time! I found floss dental on Unilocal and decided to give them a try, considering how hard it is to find a decent dentist. I scheduled for a regular cleaning and exam, keeping in mind that i might need a deep cleaning on a quadrant or two. I arrived 25 minutes early (taking time off work by the way) I explained to the girls up front that I will be paying out of pocket, I have no dental coverage. I was reassured that it will be $ 40 dollars for x-​rays, exam and a cleaning. here is how it played out…
1. I signed in at 2:35 (my actual appointment was scheduled at 3 pm)
2. They keep me waiting for 45 minutes… at 3:45 I spoke up and complained about the wait… finally i was called in at 4:05
3. They took X-​rays, which took about 10 minutes, then waited another 20 minutes or so for the dentist to review my x-​rays.
4. He walked into the room, didn’t even have the decency to properly introduce himself but was eager to explain that I need a deep cleaning on all 4 quadrants… and he said i don’t have any cavities… I asked him to show me the x-​rays and to point out the problem areas? he said that i have plaque under my gums on my left upper and lower quads (he was surprised to see me know the difference of quads ect… I have had a deep cleanings in the past, therefore I know when its recommended or not!!)…so i simply asked him why are you recommending a full mouth deep cleaning if i only need the left? UP SELL!!! I asked him if i don’t have a cavity, i might have another issue because i have sensitivity on one of my teeth on the left side and he said no… i said but you have not even examined my mouth yet!!! so he asks me to lay, takes 10 seconds to check my mouth and says the girl upfront will be coming over with the estimate and walked away… $ 730.00 was the estimate for a deep cleaning on all four quads, with no option of declining and getting a regular cleaning!!! …I declined and just wanted to walk out of there… I paid the $ 40 and didn’t even get a polish. I asked the girl upfront to e-​mail me the x-​rays so i can find another dentist and not have to expose my self to all the radiation again, she agreed, had me sign a release form and i never got the email. I called back a few times but have been ignored. Horrible experience! Whats the deal? Am i not worthy of a decent exam because I don’t have dental insurance??? I will never recommend anyone to go to floss dental… they will lie and try to up sell you.

I am one of the few people (if any) that look forward to going to the dentist. Yes, you read that correctly. Actually, I love going to the dentist. I’ve had almost every procedure done, from a cavity filled, root canal, impacted wisdom teeth, you name it. And I still like going. My favorite thing is getting my teeth cleaned. Yes! It’s the best thing to walk out of the office with your pearly whites shining like a cartoon. I feel like a little star is shining off my I tooth when I smile. Ting ting.
I was really impressed with this office. Very clean and modern and the back office is really high tech. Flat screen TV playing Netflix while you wait.
Adrienne, my hygienist was very gentle and thorough. Dr. Tounian was friendly and not to mention, he’s hot. I liked his Cliff Huxtable sweater.
I’ll be changing my teeth cleanings to three a year.

Go see Dr. Tounian! He is easily the best dentist I’ve ever seen.
Office staff is great, they will work with you on payments, even if you don’t have insurance. They usually get me in and out, they are incredibly fast, polite, and gentle. I’ve never had to wait more than a day or two for my next appointment at Floss. (You can trust me on gentle, I’ve had 4 cavities and a two root canals here, and I’m terrified of the dentist)

I was so pleased with my visit today! Brittany was so helpful and I can’t thank the staff enough for helping me with my visit. Even though I admit I was very nervous about the visit. Dr Tran was very understanding and he was reassuring. Dr. Tounian came in to see how I was feeling. Everything worked out. I’ll be back later this month.

In a nutshell…
Extremely friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a great dental experience! Dr. Arvin is extremely relatable and does a great job gaining the trust of his patients! THE FIRST dentist I actually enjoyed visiting!
Been meaning to write this review for some time now… however, I came here roughly 4 weeks ago to get a cleaning and also learn about the different options I had for getting my teeth straighter. They had a new patient special, I think it was $ 40 for a cleaning and X-​rays… beats most groupons you see these days, so I thought I’d give them a shot.
It was a hot and sunny Thursday afternoon… haha j/​k. I had a 6pm appointment that day and after arriving 10 minutes late I realized I was probably the last patient of the day. Thankfully they were very understanding and still honored my appointment.
After finally arriving I began completing all of the necessary paperwork, which I later found out is also available online… needless to say I realized my phone was dying so I asked the receptionist if she had an iPhone charger and that if I could leave my phone on charge while seeing the dentist. I got all that and more… they actually put my phone on charge in the exact same room the dentist was going to see me, which was pretty awesome! If that wasn’t enough it was just as awesome to watch Netflix while waiting on the dentist in the examining room.
What truly made this visit exceptional was Dr. Arvin. This guy was extremely friendly and easy to relate with, which made me believe him even more. A lot of the times when you go in to see a dentist, their either trying to sell you something or forcing you to undergo some expensive procedure to get your teeth cleaner or wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Arvin, did the exact opposite, he looked at my teeth and asked me what was troubling me and gave his most honest feedback of how to fix it. I came in wanting to get invisalign because I feared having to bear the public humiliation of braces… but after talking with Dr. Arvin for 10 minutes I felt like he had already convinced me to get braces…
Overall, the best dentist experience I’ve EVER had. I’ve probably recommended 5 – 10 people since I came here. Truly a welcoming office and a friendly staff, Dr. Arvin is awesome and I hope to see him again!

It has been a few years since my last dental visit I must confess, so after doing some research here on Unilocal,I found Floss Dental. They accepted my insurance and had ample appointment times to chose from.
After an hour there, I left with a smile on my freshly cleaned teeth. The reception, Xray tech, hygienist, and dentist were all very pleasant, patient, and caring. They explained each step and tool they used during my visit. I felt in very good hands the entire time and would highly recommend FD to anyone and as I promised, I will not wait so long in between visits. :)
