Four Points by Sheraton Las Vegas East Flamingo

We decided to leave for Vegas 6 hours before planned around 1am, so we booked a night here with SPG points. We only ended up staying here for only 9 hours before switching over to The Venetian, but Four Points was sufficient enough for our needs.
The lobby is closed from 1am until 6−7am, so we were locked out when we arrived as we didn’t have a room access key yet. There was a wall telephone that we used to call the front desk to let them know we needed to check-​in. Everything seemed really secure, including the parking garage, which is also locked during after hours. Parking is free! Garage elevators also go directly to the hotel rooms with a room access key, which is really convenient.
Décor in the lobby is super hipster. I expected the rooms to be in a similar, fashion but it was rather basic. Since we weren’t there for that long, I barely remember what the room looks like. No complimentary SPG Gold upgrades but everything was good enough, so no complaints.
Location is a bit far from the strip so I’m not sure I’d stay here again unless it’s for a last minute room or to use SPG points.

Requested an early check in upon reserving our room, but since it wasn’t guaranteed my bf and I arrived early anyways and thought we would give it a try. It was around 9a and the lady from the front desk informed us that there weren’t any rooms available and that we should try again around 12−1p.
After getting breakfast and walking around Target which was just 2 blocks from the hotel, we were able to check in at 11:30a. I thought it was very convenient that their elevators in the parking garage directly lead you to your hotel floor without needing to step foot in the lobby. The parking garage became gated around 5p so you would need your key card to open the gate. My boyfriend and I arrived around (4am) one morning and noticed a man standing outside the corner of the hotel holding a bat. Freaked me out a bit, so we decided to drive around before opening the gate in case he invited himself in. The hotel location is off the strip so if you don’t want to walk, having a car would be most helpful.
Our room was spacious, and I was more than content with our bathroom, however it took FOREVER for hot water to run in the sink. The shower was inconvenient for us because water drained super slow and it would flood to the bathroom floor. I had to use several towels to stop water from flowing everywhere. The shower stall was wheelchair accessible, so it only made sense that it was like that. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, but our sheets had yellow stains. The closet included a pin pad safe which was extremely helpful to have. Our floor (3) was always out of ice so my boyfriend had to go one floor up or one floor down to get ice.
The check out process was smooth and they definitely do not charge you with hidden (resort) fees. I wouldn’t mind coming back here.

I am pretty sure they did not change the sheets from the last guest. There are little hairs everywhere. The only redeeming quality is the great guy who works at the front desk. This place is certainly cheap… in every sense of the word.

This hotel was very strict on key distribution. And this is not being said in a good way. I left my key in my room, followed by two younger college kids who walked in right after me. The blonde lady at the front desk used every excuse to NOT give me or those other guys their key. I think this is horrible customer service!!! Especially when its Vegas, better things are on our minds that if we accidently leave the key in the room, its not on purpose! Duh! This place should asl for ID then hand you YOUR key!!! This was such as inconvenience at 2 in the morning!!!

Lovely hotel, great staff, and $ 3.50 piña colada and strawberry daiquiris? Awesome :)
2 miles off the strip and I have to admit I think I kind of prefer this location. Maybe I’m starting to get older lol but I love how it isn’t super crazy and smelling like smoke everywhere.
Short review but would def recommend this place :)

Just passing thru and needed a clean, nice, safe hotel for the night, not on the strip. Hotel room was very modern, big bathroom, very comfortable bed. AC worked great. Free coffee and bottled water in room. Also, has underground parking which is free, protected from the sun, and is secured so you need your room key to open gate after 5pm. Plus, no Resort Fee so definitely a good value. Free wifi, too.

One of the worst hotels I have stayed at so far. There were food crumbs under my bed spread from the last room guest! The hot/​cold water is horrible. Took 10 min for the hot water to flow. The tv stopped working and stayed on he spg advert on the 2^nd day. There was one tiny soap provided wit wash hands and bathe! The chair next to the desk has a hole in the leather!

I am a very frequent traveler and overpaying for a bad hotel experience is one of my pet peeves but I have to say I was very happy with this choice. The staff is definitely friendly and helpful — 5 stars for them. The room is a little dated but overall the entire property offered everything I would expect in a mid-​market hotel. Nice bed, computer desk, decent number of power outlets, bathroom was clean. Nothing to complain about. A co-​worker stayed at the Westin and felt I got the better deal. An easy 5 minute walk to restaurants, 10 minutes to the nearest Starbucks. I have to dock one star for the area. It is a little rough with a few homeless people sleeping on the street. I bought one guy a coffee but I would think some people might feel nervous around them. That’s not the hotel’s fault though.

The bed was hard as a rock, springs stuck into our backs. Room wasn’t clean and the plane noise kept us up all night. The check in process was quick and easy. We put the breakfast card on our door and they got the order wrong. They caught it after they delivered the order (we hadn’t noticed the missing item) and offered to correct it for free. We expect more from a Starwood property.

We spent last weekend at this place, I gave it 1 stars only because it was so close to the strip without being on it. The location is not in the best looking area. The rooms were extremely small. I didn’t care for the way they offer their guest complementary toiletries. (In dispensers mounted in the bathroom shower.) no bar soap or tooth brush either. Had to ask them to come and sweep my bathroom floor, it wasn’t swept well. I can go on and on. I’ll just say, it was ok enough to stay there because we couldn’t get a refund but I will not recommend or stay there again. I will say the only thing I did like was the nice young man that helped us at the desk when we checked in.

I think this hotel was a great value for the money and just what I wanted for a one-​night, no-​frills, stay in Las Vegas.
The parking garage is gated and exceptionally close to the elevators and to the rooms. You can get from your car to your room in 3 minutes. Try doing that at one of the massive hotels on the strip.
The bedroom and bathroom is designed nicely and 100% functional. I saw none of the carpet stains or other defects that other reviewers have pointed out. The room had a coffee maker, complimentary coffee, a very plush comfortable bed, large shower, and spacious bathroom. I also liked the DIRECTV service and remote control. No more guessing where the channels were or using a paper channel guide.
I will definitely return here when I’m looking for a room for sleep and showers only.

I am so upset that I am almost in complete tears writing this review! My review is a few mths late seeing when I actually visited this hotel but I still felt that I should write a review to let ppl know how shady these ppl are that run this hotel. I frequent Vegas often & since I am a valued SPG member I decided to give this hotel a try since it was fairly brand new. I came in on August 20^th & stayed through August 24^th, not only did I come but I reserved rooms for 4 of my close friends that came into town from Texas. During the stay we went to the bar a few times & never once received good service, our server an older male that just seemed so irritated with our presence every single moment. We got over that quickly as we were just in Vegas to have a good time & wouldn’t let some unhappy douche ruin our trip. Two days before our trip came to an end I actually realized that we were in a very bad neighborhood & wanted to cut the trip short but did not. Okay so to the part that really pushed me to the edge, Monday morning I checked out & headed to the airport. Once I got home I unpacked my luggage like normal and noticed I was missing my diamond tennis bracelet (left to me by my Grandmother who passed away from MS) & a MK watch I had just got as a gift for my last birthday. I immediately called the hotel to ask if it was turned in, I was even able to tell them exactly where I left it. They told me that they would check, I said ok very hopeful they would find it. But unfortunately they never ever called me back. I called everyday & always got a promise that someone would call me back & never received one call back. Finally after staying on hold for nearly an hour to speak to the housekeeping manager, I was told that there was nothing recovered from my room & maybe I had left it somewhere else. Soo extremely angry, I asked her who else can I speak to above her because it is not a question of where I left my jewelry as she is making it seem! She told me that the hotel manager would be in contact with me & of course I never heard from him. I let it go at that point for my own personal reasons & though I still want my things back I just don’t know what more I can do. I just want everyone to know to be very cautious leaving behind belongings because the ppl working here are not honest at all.

I had a great stay here.
The GATED indoor garage is safe, attached to the building with direct walking access to the lobby. The lobby is with trendy design and lots of «pods» for small group conversations. The Restaurant design is very inviting, open and vibrant. Every staff encounters I have are great, especially Jubs, Faith, the first lady that checked me in (sorry I forgot her name) and the maintenance crew that always gave me a smile when passing by each other. FREE wi-​fi service.

I’m an SPG Platinum and stayed using points.
This is actually a 2.5 out of 5 overall but I’d rather over rate than under rate.
Hotel location — 2.5 — off strip which can help reduce the price but the area is quite dark and run down looking.
Check in process — 4.5 — very friendly staff
Parking — 4.0 — easy to get in and out as soon as I was pointed to where the swipe location was to gain entry to the garage
Common area appearance 3.5 — some of the slowest elevators I have experienced in quite some time.
Room Appearance 3.5 — would be nice to be to UNPLUG that alarm clock that could be used to light up taxiways over at McCarren. Too bright and I had to bury it under pillows on the other bed and it was STILL visible.
Room cleanliness — 2.5
Room maintenance 2 — issues with the shower diverter and the AC unit, when I first entered the room it was very warm, AC kicked on about 20 seconds after I entered it, I unpacked and was in for about 20 minutes and did not drop the temperature much if at all (display said 75 no matter what but I like to sleep in 67 – 68 but I know it never reached there), went down and asked the front desk about it and was told that the AC woulnd’t come on until the room was occupied so this was normal, except that I told her that I was in the room for 20 minutes and the temp did not drop to what the control panel was set to.
Entertainment — (-)1.0 — Yes, that’s a negative rating, yes I know it’s Vegas and there is a ton of entertainment to be had outside the hotel but I don’t know WHO thought that providing Direct TV service with no filtering of channels and with one of the worst channel ‘guides’ ever and a remote that has limited functionality. This combined with no documentation on which networks are on what channel forced me to have to wade thru several hundreds of channels, most of which weren’t even live.

Here is a hotel on the verge of mediocrity. It’s got the clean modern look. It has a very good location and just the right prices for a budget stay in Vegas. But then it’s got crap service, huge ugly stains in the rug, funny smells, elevators that don’t work and those massive large loud air conditioners you have come to expect at Motel 6. It’s comfortable enough if you’re a flight attendant and really only need road warrior service, but try not to want anything above and beyond basic. Meaning not even three kinds of potato chips for sale, or anything resembling prompt service for breakfast.
This is a fine place to crash for a couple days. But cabbies don’t know where it is, almost nobody delivers. It’s the nicest looking crap motel I’ve been to. It can only get better, but don’t count on it.

We had a pet tech conference in the Flamingo conference room and was happy with the accommodations. The hotel room was clean, carpet looked new, modern furnishings. Liked the gated parking, I felt secure loading/​unloading bags. The free breakfast was great but the lone woman in charge of taking orders, refilling drinks, bringing food out was way overwhelmed and left us (and other customers) waiting way too long. That’s the only bad thing I can say about Four Points.

We stayed at the Four Points Sheraton for a business trip. Here are the pros and cons:
PROS:
–Clean modern rooms
–Very comfortable plush beds
–Plenty of FREE securely gated underground parking
–Hotel room floors are only accessible by swiping your room key card so not just anybody can walk in
— They offer breakfast (sometimes free) in their downstairs restaurant or it can be delivered to your room.
— Swimming pool
— Refrigerators available in your room upon request
–Gold members get free water and wifi in their room
— Just a few blocks away from the Hughes Business Center, so if you are visiting for work it’s a close location to stay at.
–there is a target just down the street so that is convenient if you need snacks or clothing.
CONS:
— It is located off of Flamingo Ave which is currently under construction (and appears it will be for quite some time) so it was VERY hard getting in and out of the hotel without having to drive in circles to come in the back way or get stuck in non moving traffic because a 3 – 4 lane road is now 2 lanes.
— It is located DIRECTLY across the street from a an ambulance dispatch center so if your room is facing Flamingo Ave you will hear one get dispatched every 5 minutes day and night. (No this is not an exaggeration) we managed to tune a good amount of it out by running the air conditioner and putting the tv on, or by wearing headphones.
— It’s just far enough from the strip that you can’t walk to it because it would take you about 45 minutes but thank goodness pretty much every hotel on the strip has free self parking garages. (We used the ones at the Flamingo and the MGM)
— They have two types of menus in the room. One that is from an outside vendor that delivers to the hotel, as well as the menu from the restaurant at the hotel. The hotel menu says they off breakfast and dinner. The menu says dinner begins at 530 pm and if you want in room service then you just call the front desk. I waited until 545 pm to call and a gentleman picked up with a rather unpleasant tone (not mean but not very greeting either). I said I would like to order room service and he asked me «well which menu are you looking at?» I replied, «the hotel one». The man at the front desk says the hotel doesn’t offer room service. I said, «I’m sorry but the menu for the hotel says you offer in room dining starting at 530.» He replies in that same almost grouchy tone, «Well the hotel doesn’t have room service the restaurant doesn’t offer nighttime service so you are just going to have to order from the outside vendor». It wasn’t a big deal, I managed to get dinner somewhere else but I kept thinking why would they have a dinner menu if they don’t offer dinner? Like was it a service they used to have but no longer do and they just left the menus in the rooms?
–Since it is farther from the strip, it is located next to some pretty sketchy housing and I saw a lot of people hanging out outside that were up to no good. I know the hotel can’t control that but I did not feel safe walking anywhere in that area so I drove to everything, even food places that were a block away.
All in all the room was comfy and clean but we probably would choose a hotel room on the strip next time. The strip hotels offer more amenities and were about the same price or less.

One feature I really like about this hotel is that there is gated, underground parking. Once you unload, you can just take the elevator straight up to the floor where your room is located. Aside from checking in, you don’t have to ever step into the lobby again if you don’t want.
I don’t recommend staying here if you do not have a car. It’s too far of a walk and to be honest the surrounding neighborhood doesn’t seem so safe.
As for the room, it’s pretty standard. Nothing spectacular. One thing that really stood out was the fact that they provided mouth wash as one of the amenities in the restroom.
Speaking of restroom, ours had a sewer smell to it. (Our room was located on the 5^th floor, right when you exit the elevators.) That was rather unpleasant.
Would I stay here again? Probably not. It’s too far from the Strip and there is nothing around the hotel.

Had a really great stay here. I kept reading terrible things but I had free points so I decided to use them for this hotel. Hotel room was clean, not as spacious as I had hoped but no problems. Customer service was excellent. Asked for utensils and plates and they came in 2 minutes. Yeah there’s not much to do at the hotel but the strip is not too far away. I heard über is coming back to Vegas soon so it won’t be a hassle once über comes. We had a rental car so traveling really wasn’t an issue. Parking is easy to find once you find the secret underground lot (we had circled a few times). Overall great stay

I attended a trade show at the convention center and this hotel is super close. It’s about a 3 minute drive to the strip and a 2 minute drive to regular shopping (Target, Walmart). The hotel is extremely clean and property is taken care of well. Liz assisted me with my reservation and she was so friendly and hospitable. All the staff members I came in contact with were very friendly and kind. There is also underground secured parking. I will definitely stay here again.

This is a rock solid 3.5 star hotel not too far from the strip, when combining the 3 star elements and 5 star value and service. Cab ride here from airport was $ 20. Very quiet area coming in at 9:30pm and a bit dark, other than the lit Four Points sign. Inside, not so much activity either. There is a driveway up front and a key card garage underground. Upon entrance, there are Sheraton elements like the modern décor and smell of newness, mixed with few elements of an older hotel (like a crumpled up paper on the lobby floor, elevator scratches, and door paint chips).
Receptionist was very nice and helpful. I had a back to back reservation, and I was guaranteed the same room all throughout, with late 4pm checkout as well. Got points as my platinum check in amenity. Room was very clean, but again with the few signs of oldness here (like the wall mounted A/​C, cabinet and door scratches). There are new elements all over though, like the furniture, TV, carpet, and paint. Nice décor on the wall TV has DirecTV with over 100 channels. Pool is on the second floor. It’s a small strip (4’11 deep in the center, with a small jacuzzi in the corner next to it.
If you are staying on points, 3,000 points a night is a pretty good deal. Put up the Green Choice tag to get 250 pts a night back. As for $ 99 a night… yeah that works too. From there, you will still have money left over to do a plethora of activities on the strip. Keep in mind the cost of taxi rides though, if you don’t have a car. Strip is 1.5 miles away and Über isn’t here.
Overall – If you don’t need many things in the hotel itself and are after value, this is your hotel.
Walk-​around:

Quality — 2 stars
This is definitely one of the more rundown Sheratons I’ve stayed at. There’s stains on the hallway carpets, there’s a few lines of black mold in the shower grout, and a few minor things were broken (e.g., door hook). But the hotel itself was clean so these were just minor things.
Price — 4 stars
But it’s also very cheap for a Sheraton. We stayed here for only 4000 SPG points a night, and we saw a lot of flight attendants, so the dollar price must be pretty low too. And the price includes a pool and fitness center, which not all hotels have.
Service — 5 stars
The employees I interacted with were fantastic and went above and beyond (especially the overnight front desk employee Jeff). We felt respected and appreciated as platinum guests and Jeff was always very professional and positive even though my 3 interactions with him were at 12am, 4am, and 6am (late check-​in and early check outs).
Location — 3 stars
This is not on the strip. It’s about 1 – 1.5 miles from the strip but I walked to the strip without any problems crossing large roads.
Overall ~ I am willing to overlook that this is an aging hotel because of the positive experiences I had here. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is so so. We stayed here because we have Starwood points and it was off strip. Staff is really nice, parking is free and secured and room was clean,
those are about the only 3 positives.
Air conditioner is loud, ear plug necessary loud. Lots of holes filled with putty on the walls. Huge crack in the glass in the picture frame on the wall. Remote to the tv doesn’t work. Called to get it fixed, maintenance came and said the remote doesn’t belong to the TV in this room and they don’t have a replacement… So why is it in here? Hotel is full so can’t switch to another room. Wifi is über slow. Walls are extremely thin, I can at this very moment understand every word blaring out of our neighbor’s TV at 12:30 am.
I think an average paying person would give this room 1 – 2 stars but I’m nice, I got this room for free with points and I’m a backpacker normally so I’m generally lenient. I think for this price you could definitely get a better room somewhere else.

As a Starwood platinum member that stays around 100 nights a year with the chain, I would not recommend staying here. The rooms are very average and the service is far far below the Starwood standard. Walked out of the restaurant after not even having our order taken for 30 minutes. I guess we will get breakfast elsewhere… That is one way of getting out of giving your platinum guests their free breakfast amenity. There were no more than 10 customers in the restaurant at the time. Very poorly run.

As an SPG platinum guest, I’m giving this hotel 4 stars as a SPG category 2 hotel. That doesn’t mean it’s a 4 star hotel — it means that it exceeded expectations as a category 2 hotel. This review is also based on a business trip — aka, get me in, get me out, 1) be clean 2) be clean 3) give me a decent night sleep. This place is brand spanking new — and hit all of the points above. Location close to everything and relatively secure. Pillows are a little hard though.

Not a new hotel. Under new management persea use to be the Belmont. Everything from front entry to rooms has been refurbished. New carpet, furnishing designes! All of it. Off the strip but walking distance to the Hard Rock Casino, PF Changs, Morton Steak House etc. And a short $ 8 taxi ride to the strip. Advice u have them drop u off at Bally’s right up the street. Its only 1.2 miles. But this is the desert so. Sunscreen in January is not unheard of! Enjoy

When we arrived at the hotel it looked abandoned. The entrance was covered with construction barriers and warning signs and there were no directions to park. I have never felt so belittled and disrespected by staff at a hotel before. The customer service at this hotel is absolutely terrible. When we arrived, our reservation had never been processed– even though we had a signed contract for our group to receive multiple rooms. We waited in the lobby for almost three hours while they «worked out the miscommunication.» After arriving in our room we found that the air conditioning unit didn’t work. The workers gave us a new room but were very disrespectful and arrogant when they offered it to us. The «heated pool and hot tub» are freezing and those who use it run the risk of getting sick– if they can even withstand the cold temperatures. All floors, except the lobby, smell like a dirty bathroom– this smell follows us into the rooms. We haven’t even finished our stay and are already looking for other accommodations. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is wanting to stay in Vegas.

This place is still under construction which was ok. From our window, there was a view of swimming pool with lounge chairs in the pool with dirt from the wind that passed through. The pool was cleaned up after our fourth day. There were many homeless ppl having around right in front of our window, and that was sad to see.
The Kleenex in the restroom was most rough one I’ve ever used. The closet door had a large chipped paint and was obviously in need of a repair.
Not a safe area to walk around at night. Located a little less than 2 miles from the strip. Very nice and seemingly happy employees with pleasant smiles.
Will go somewhere else next time.
