Finally… a groomer that understands how a ‘doodle’ should look! I got a beautiful scissor cut for my Australian Labradoodle, Wrigley, and he looks just perfect… very natural. I have tried other spas and salons who will not do a scissor cut or who cut my puppy’s fur down to 1″: WAY too short for a natural look. Thank you Shannon and Debbie for taking such good care of him!

They said they were going to do a Teddy Bear cut and shape my Goldendoodle’s legs to look full like the Bichon she was in the process of cutting right in front of us. When we picked him up 4 hours later, he was shaved almost down to the skin! When we asked why she didn’t do his legs right her explanation was «he was wiggly and it would have been an $ 80 cut. Now if it were me cutting someone else’s dog, I would have called the owner of the dog and explained that fact. Had I been called I would have gladly paid the difference. My dog looks like a shaved poodle, no a bird dog all the way to the feet, with a bushy tail! She didn’t trim the ears and where they did cut, err sheer him, it is uneven and looks terrible. She did say, «in a few weeks you can bring him back in and I will shape him up with the scissors. «Now, if you couldn’t shape him up today, why would you be able to do it in 2 weeks? Looks like I will have to live with my doodle looking like a sheered sheep until he grows out, hopefully before Christmas! I won’t be back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I even showed her photos, and I know you can’t always get the look exactly, but my dog doesn’t even look like something anyone would like. I thought under new ownership it would be good, but I wouldn’t give it 1 star if I didn’t have to. Very disappointed.

Foxy Hound is the worst pet salon in town. They have no concern for your pets or their well being. My father’s dog was cut badly while they were grooming him, and then tried to blame my father for it. They claimed «his anal glad exploded» but it was clear that their negligence was responsible for the injury to my father’s pet.
After taking the dog to the emergency vet, they cauterized the wound and told my father that it was not the anal gland, but that a wart (that my father had warned the groomers about), had been cut off badly. It cost my father hundreds of dollars to remedy, and these terrible groomers would not pay the bill. DO NOT TRUST FOXY HOUND WITH YOUR PETS!!!

I used to love this place. For the past three years i would have given it 5 stars but the previous owners sold it in June of this year. I tried out the new people and they were completely rude and unprofessional. I left my dog there at 9 am and at noon i called to see how much longer they told me an hour. At 130 i still hadnt heard from them so i showed up and they said it would be another hour because they had only just given her a bath. I asked for her because they we completely rude then they proceded to charge me the full price even though they didnt even cut her hair.

I told them they could do any day and I would come early as necessary as long as I could be first in line. I came when they told me and was 8^th in line. They then took an hour and a half longer than promised and didn’t even cut my dogs hair how I asked.

Haircut sucked. Asked them to keep my small jumpy dog away from large dogs so they put him next to a pit bull that proceeded to attack him. No apology. Won’t come back.

Foxy Hound is like the Vidal Sassoon for dogs! My friends say I’m picky and have high standards and I agree. So of course, I want the best for our dog. After almost 2 years of visits to Foxy Hound I’m more than qualified to tell you how incredible they are. They get an A+ for customer service and everywhere I go our pretty little pooch gets compliments because of the awesome job they do. Of extreme importance to me is that when I’ve called in at the last minute they can usually squeeze us in. They’re awesome and I’m not one to give credit or compliments… unless of course it is earned. It makes sense that their name is Foxy Hound because they totally deliver on their promise.

Not the best. Service is slow and pricier then other places.

So glad I found this place! I have been taking both my fur babies here for about a year now. They always do a great job on my Chihuahua/​Pom mix who is especially hard to work with because of her double coat. I also bring my other Chihuahua here for nail trimmings since hes an evil little gremlin and won’t let me do it. Everyone is always very nice, and yes most of the time they are very busy with dogs on the table but I have always been acknowledged when I came in. Andy is super nice and showed me all the dog foods they carry that might help with my male chihuahuas food allergies, and also helped me find a great harness/​leash for my girl pup. I love that when I pick up my dog she is happy and wagging her tail and they even put pink bows in her hair once in awhile. The first time I got her groomed was at PetCo and when I picked her up she was scared and very timid about me touching her front paws which makes me think they might of cut her when trimming the nails. I will continue to bring my babies to Foxy Hound from now on!

I walked in here one morning to check out their pet supplies and pet snacks and was rather appalled to see a tiny little dog, tied up on a table, shivering its little butt off. It clearly looked terrified and cold, not getting any attention, and i even was talking to the poor lil poochie, telling it «its okay!» no one paid it much attention, rather the groomer was dealing with two small kids playing around behind the counter.
From this first impression, ill be looking elsewhere for my grooming needs.

Back when I lived over on this side of the world, I took my furball to get groomed here.
My feelings about this place are middle of the road. Did they ever totally make me embarassed to walk my dog by how horribly they groomed him? No. But they did make it so that I had to make some touch-​up grooms at home, on more than one occasion.
The people were usually pleasant, if a little distracted (which is what I’m attributing the need for at-​home groom touch-​ups).

Found this place in an online search and decided to take our Shih Tzu there for his first grooming ever, and turned out great! They really take care of the dogs in there and are VERY helpful. They also have high quality and yet relatively inexpensive dog food and toys in there that you can buy as well. Highly recommended.

After 5 years of using the grooming services of a very large (unnamed) store, I thought I’d try somewhere else. Great job on both dogs & these guys treated my dogs very well. Completely pleased.
The dogs looked great. No shear marks or anything.

went to check the place out cuz they sent me a $ 6 off coupon. best bath. brush. trim. my dog has ever had! i picked up her up (only took a few hours) and found her with a little hair tie in her hair and a little pink heart bandana tied around her neck. the cut was great.
