Gary & Derrill’s Plaza Barber Shop

I’ve been getting my hair cut here since 1988. They both treat you like you are family.

This place is a great old fashioned barbershop. Both Gary and Derrill give great haircuts and are extremely kind, friendly men. In fact, Gary jonce ust up and gave me a pair of tickets to see the UNLV Rebels football team when I told him I was a fan (he’s a season ticket holder).
They don’t take appointments, so you’ll have to just stop on by, but I’ve never really had a problem waiting too long. They have various magazines laying around and there is usually a good conversation going on to keep you entertained.
The place is decorated with old fashioned items, and has a real barbershop feel to it. There aren’t any fancy hair products or anything like that – Just a good haircut.
They charge $ 12 for a haircut and will also clean you up with a straight edge razor, which is a nice touch. They only take cash, so heads up on that.
