George’s Alignment & Brake Service

Took our Accord in for a front end alignment. Mechanic determined that we didn’t need one as the pull we were experiencing was due to a tire mismatch (we had to replace a damaged tire on a road trip). Suggested a tire shop to go to and that was it — no charge.

Took my old VW to these guys today because I was constantly hearing a strong noise from the rear brakes.
These guys are the best. They just finished working on my rear brake drums. Came in no appointment, got a very good quote and was out less than 2 hours. These guys will show you the bad parts and explain everything and answer all questions, no problem, no worries. A while ago I had my front brakes and rotors replaced as well as a brake flush for a little under $ 500. The service could not be better. I have called them with car questions and they are very honest and super helpful.
Reliability — I watched the mechanic and he worked on the car quickly and with precision.
Affordability — Slightly below average prices.
Timeframe — I was there for less time than predicted.
Pricing: Fair in pricing on service, they don’t push unnecessary repairs or services. If problem continues, they ask you to bring the car back for fixing.
The service: clean and with all kind of equipment.

Jeff and Jodi are great! I’ve had my truck there several times. Each time, I left very pleased with my alignment. My truck is lifted and when I first finished it, I took it to three different places with computerized equipment. Each one either had my camber off or toe wrong. Truck still pulled left or right. Went to George’s. Jeff had it in and out in a few minutes and said, «straight as an arrow.» He was spot on. Been taking my truck there since. Highly recommend them for lifted trucks.

AWESOME customer service! Jeff & Jodi are friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. They put the customer before making a buck! Took our van in for an alignment & was out in 30 minutes. On the drive home, noticed a noise I hadn’t heard before — Jodi told me to bring it right back; & Jeff checked it out even though it had nothing to do with the work he did. DEFINITELY folks that know how to serve! We will refer everyone we know to George’s!

While many Asians are trying to fight the Stereotype of guys who drive «Riced-​Out» vehicles, I fully embrace it. I even love all the FF movies. I currently own 2 older vehicles, both lowered. I just lowered my truck via 2′ dropped spindles in the front & 3′ dropped leafs in the back. The alignment was so off, that I thought it best to tow it to the shop. My mechanic, told me, don’t mess around with other Alignment shops, go to George’s. I was in the area, driving my car which is lowered 1.5″ via Eibach springs & Tokico Struts, so i thought I would drop by to make a appointment for my truck. While I was making the appointment for the truck, I mentioned to the office manager that my car was pulling to the left, she told me, it was most likely a radial tire issue & just to rotate the tires, but if the tire were wearing funny, bring it in & they could fix that… wow! a honest person in the automotive repair industry. I got home & rotated the tires myself & true to her words, the car stopped pulling to the left, but both front tires were worn badly on the inside.
I took the car in to George’s first. The mechanic told me that my non-​adjustable front end, was running a 2 degree negative camber on the left & 1 degree on the right. He then told me, he could notch it out to correct the issue, but it would take a little longer. A hour later, he finished the job. I drove away & I immediately notice that the ride so so much smoother & that it felt like I was driving a well sorted out race car. The next day I towed the truck in. Even though, the truck’s alignment was so off, I was in & out in less than 1 hour. Both days, I waited in the office for the work to be done. Both days I was so impressed that the mechanic was so professional & got on & stayed working on just my car, until the work was done… he did NOT work on other cars, take smoke breaks, talk or text on his cellphone, eat any food, talk to girls walking or driving by, or drive away & come back later. At George’s, they just get it. At no point did they ask me why I lowered both vehicles or make any negative comment about modified vehicles. While sitting in the office & watching them conduct their business. I realized that they treated everyone with respect & professionalism that is so rare to find anymore, anywhere.
Bottom line: George’s Alignment & Brake Service, is the only place that I will be going to in Vegas for a Alignment.

Went to Georges for a alignment on my truck. Turns out my tire was about to blow which discount tire some how missed. I was advised not to take my truck on the freeway let alone drive very far at all because of how bad my tire is/​was.
Thanks to Georges Alignment and Brakes I was able to avoid what could of been a horrible accident. If I have questions regarding my tires now I will go to Georges Alignment and Brakes before I go to the Discount Tire shop on Blue Diamond rd since the assistant manager there some how missed how bad my tire was and just wanted to sell me new tires or rims and tires instead of letting me know I only have 1 bad tire that is ready to blow and could get me killed on the freeway if I continue to drive on it.
Georges also had my truck for a hour and I know it took up space for them and they did have to look at it but they did not charge me anything either. They were much more concerned that I got it taken care of asap and even directed me to a tire shop close by as well as some advice on how to possibly save some money on the replacement.

This is the absolute best place to get your alignment or brake work done. I just had my lifted 92 Jeep done and it is driving like new now. I have brought all of my vehicles I’ve owned over the last 10 years into George’s and have never been disappointed. Don’t be discouraged by the «appointments only» thing as they have plenty of openings for alignment and brake work in this down economy. I verified that today with the office manager.
«Bobby Y» mentions that they don’t have the fancy computers to check the alignments. I’ve never seen any computers there while I was waiting for work to be done, but then again, I have NEVER had an issue to be concerned about it. I have had lots of issues left over by shops that have all of the digital equipment. That’s the whole reason I had to bring my 92 Jeep to George’s Alignment & Brake Service in the first place. The Jeep had been previously totaled with extensive frame damage. They fixed the frame but botched the alignment. After about 40 minutes on my Jeep and a quick test drive, it was given their seal of approval. That’s good enough for me knowing their work and sure enough it is driving like new again. Thanks again George’s Alignment and Brake Service. You get an A+ in my book!

I have owned many collectable vehicles and George’s is the only place to take your car and have the work done right. They are also the only place in town who can do a good 4 wheel alignment on an older Corvette. Not only did they fix my last car right but they also came in well under the estimated repair cost to fix it. Also their communication along the way was top notch. Thanks Guys!!!

Took my ’67 Camaro here for an alignment, after seeing some positive comments on a Corvette forum about George’s. There is no computerized alignment rack here, just alignment plates you drive onto and the eyeballs of whoever is performing the alignment. In no more than 3 minutes, the tech made 2 – 3 adjustments and told me to ‘go drive it’ and I did. To my surprise, the overall driveability was improved, and the car seemed to track straight. To my disappointment, there was still a high speed vibration over 60mph (which I had described to the tech) and I knew it wasn’t a wheel balance issue because I just had that done.
While I was impressed in the short-​term with what George’s accomplished in 3 minutes with a ratchet and a wrench, I would recommend going somewhere with a more modern and computerized approach. My front wheels were never lifted in the air during the 3 minute process, which is a red-​flag that the alignment at George’s is probably not as thorough as your car deserves. George’s also failed to find a loose (by 7 whole turns) lower ball joint which was missing it’s cotter pin. And because of the loose ball joint, the alignment had to be redone (I chose another shop to redo it). George’s might have found the loose ball joint if the tires actually left the ground…
‘Old-​school alignment’ = too cheap to invest in a computerized alignment rack. Today’s highway speeds require more accurate alignments, which George’s simply can’t provide. Cost for the 3-​minute alignment at George’s? $ 80 — cash only. Ouch! So much for trusting the Corvette guys…
