Very pleased with the way my hair and makeup looked for my wedding. We were getting married outside — the high that day was 118! The stylist recommended airbrush makeup. I was a little concerned that it would look caked on and very heavy, but it was absolutely beautiful! And it lasted through the ceremony, all of the pictures and well into the night. I was also impressed that someone called me — twice — to let me know that the stylists were running a little behind. We booked early and had plenty of time, but I appreciated the updates on their arrival. Would definitely recommend this company to others.

I am so clueless when it comes to hair and make up so when it came time for my wedding I was beyond scared and nervous. From the phone calls to plan this to my hair and makeup to actually having it done the glam squad made everything so wonderful,.easy, and most importantly I feel more beautiful than I ever have.
The airbrush is totally worth it too I have this horrible sunburn, of course for my wedding and they made it not even noticeable. I could go on and on about how great they are. Mitch is so kind over the phone and helped me every step of the way. Nicia is amazing at what she does and made me feel so wonderful and beautiful! I don’t know what I would have done without them! The kindness and friendliness is also top notch. Best customer service too!

The venue that I chose gave me Glamsquad as a recommendation. They did such an amazing job on my hair and makeup that I felt like a princess/​movie star. My fiancé, now husband, almost didn’t recognize me. I wish they expanded more through other states, I would totally would of used them again :)

So they did my make up and hair for my wedding and it was amazing. Everything was exactly how I told them. Very happy with the results and would definitely call them again.

Forgot who my makeup artist was! I think his name was Mac? Anyways, he did a great job! My makeup lasted till late at night! I had the airbrush. He also did great on my hair which also lasted long! He even stuck behind to help me pick my earrings! Thank you Glamsquad 702!

Wowza! My glam squad experience was amazing! Nicia Carreira was the perfect person for my wedding day jitters. She was not only on-​time and very efficient, but also friendly and a true artist master. I showed her a few quick pics for ideas and she totally took them and ran with it. The results were better than I dreamed of! She is simply amazing!

I booked Glamsquad for hair and makeup services through Chapel of the Flowers. Katie showed up to do my hair. She was nice and talkative. I have very short hair, very simple to style, and not realizing they won’t blow dry your hair until it was too late to cancel my hair appointment, it literally only took her 5 minutes to put a headband on me and hair spray it. As she packed up, (for some reason they make two different people do your hair and makeup, even though according to Katie they do both), the makeup artist called needing to be let up to the room by someone with a key. Katie offered to take the key down to her (I don’t recall her name, but she had green hair). 20 minutes later, the makeup girl finally comes up. She wasn’t friendly at all. My airbrushed foundation was so dark and so so thick it looked like I was wearing a mask. Not blended at all, I literally had a line around my face. She quickly put some mascara on, getting it on my nose and under my eyes, so that when she wiped it off with a Qtip she left streaks in the makeup. When I looked in the mirror I wanted to cry. I told her I didn’t like that the foundation was so dark and thick, and she told me its makeup for pictures and it needs to be that way. Wtf?! I also pointed out the streaks down my nose where she had wiped it with a Qtip to get the mascara off, and she said she didn’t do that. So rude and unprofessional! How about you just fix it?! Her way of fixing it was to cake on even more foundation in a lighter color. I looked ridiculous! After she «fixed it» she told me to go take a look, and that she wouldn’t leave until I was happy. By then I had 30 minutes to finish getting dressed and ready before the limo would arrive, and I knew she wasn’t going to fix it like I wanted. I just wanted her to leave! She did, and I wiped as much off as I could before applying my own powder to try and even it out/​hide the mask line. I also had to curl my own eyelashes and put on mascara, she got more on my face than my lashes. She also rests her hand on your mouth the entire time she’s applying eye makeup. Never again!!! Don’t waste your money!!!

Glamsquad 702 did my hair and makeup for my wedding a week before Christmas. Let me just say that the team that I got were professional and they did an amazing job. Below is an explanation of why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.
I had Katie to do my hair and I told her exactly how I treat my hair and how I wanted it done. She did an amazing job. I have very long hair and it didn’t hurt when she styled it. She knew exactly what to do and how to take care of my hair.
Alex did my makeup and he did do an amazing job as well. However, when I told him that eyeliner (even waterproof eyeliner) doesn’t stay on my face for too long it seemed like he didn’t believe me. Sure enough, about an hour after he left, the eyeliner was gone. So I had to reapply the eyeliner myself before my wedding. Other than that, Alex did an amazing job doing my makeup just as I wanted. Natural and to look good in photos. That’s just the way I wanted it.
I would highly recommend Glamsquad 702 to anyone who wants to get hair and makeup done for special occasions. They are worth the money. Like I said, they are very professional and they are very friendly!

I had the most amazing experience with Glam Squad 702! All of my life I have struggled with a poor self image and this year I lost weight, got engaged and decided to get my hair and make up done for my wedding. James came to my hotel room exactly on time, set up his equipment and got to work. He knows his craft, he was AMAZING! He did the updo that I showed him a picture of and it was beautiful! I also had airbrush make up which I recommend because it really is nice for pictures. When he was done I went to look in the mirror and never felt so pretty. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! They are professionals that know what they are doing. As for James he is a miracle worker that has passion for what he does.

I researched online for a makeup and hair stylist for my wedding day in Vegas. From New York, it was difficult to have a «trial» so I put all my trust in Glam squad 702 and placed a deposit 6 months prior to the big day. I sent pictures with my info and could not have made a better choice!!! James and his assistant came to my room at the Wynn on time and provided me with exceptional service. I went from normal to supermodel glam in 2 hours flat. My hair was done by his female hair stylist and was perfect!!! Exactly like the picture. I asked James for a neutral smokey eye look with lashes and I barely recognized myself at first! The makeup looked exceptional in my photos. I would highly recommend this group!!! Thank you so much for making my wedding day beautiful!

I am trying to keep a light heart but this experience had me cry for the hour drive home from frustration. I went for a trial, this was not my wedding day, thank god.
Pros– they sent parameters via email when I paid my deposit. They were extremely patient when I had to reschedule last minute due to unforeseen circumstances at work. Also, with complaint I was promised a refund for services. Hope to see it.
Cons– I must have a stupid expectation that a bride should feel beautiful and the people giving that service should care in that. My expectations were too high I suppose. Make up was completely uneven, did not match my skin tone, and I was shown final work in a dark office bathroom mirror? This isn’t even a salon. Seeing look in daylight was shocking. People at Michael’s art supply openly laughed. Awesome. Exactly what is wanted as a bride on your wedding day, good thing it was simply a trial. As for the hair… It was the exact style spiral curl half pony tail bun I gave myself for the 7^th grade homecoming. Bridal? Really? I am not a make-​up nor hair person but this was pathetic. I was told, «don’t worry, we will fix it on the day.» I paid the same, fix it it now while I am here for the trial. But the owner apparently took all of the hair and make-​up supplies with him before my trial was finished. The owner was 10 minutes late and the trial only lasted 30 minutes. I did voice concerns while there but was blown off. Phone was more effective. Good luck if this is what you want!

I picked Alex based on the Unilocal reviews I read and now I know why! I had a fabulous experience with Alex he’s AMAZING. He showed up on time and was a delight to work with. He was exactly on point with what I was looking for and gave me the most beautiful old Hollywood glamour look for my special day. I wish I could pack him in my luggage and take him with me. I wanted to like these guys so bad. I booked them through Vegas Weddings after looking at all the positive reviews and the before and after pictures they had in their page. I even cancelled the salon appointment I had at the hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was one of the few horrible ones that you do not want to have on your wedding day.
Booking them was fast and Jessy is very responsive and easy to work with.
The day of the event they were supposed to arrive between 3.30 and 4. I had to be ready downstairs at 6 to take the limo. They told me they needed one hour so we had good time in case something went wrong. I was there and ready on time with 2 of my friends. I was getting hair and make up and my friends blow-​dry. At 4 no one was showing up so I decided to call. They called the stylists and they said Katie and Celine were arriving. Ten minutes passed, and nothing. I called again. Jessy said that they should have arrived already. I was already stressed out. Then they knocked on the door. I greeted them and let them know I was happy to see them since I was already starting to panic. They had very unfriendly faces, did not even apologized for the delay and just came up with a very rude «we can tell, we are in between appointments.»
I am sorry, I believe I was an appointment or what is that supposed to mean? That they were doing me a favor by being there? I though that was completely rude.
Ok, at least they were there, or that is what I thought. They came in and started putting their stuff on the nightstand and dresser. I don’t know if I got Celine or Katie but she was very rude. She put her stuff on top of my wedding jewelry so I offered to clear the space. I guess I got her on the wrong day. I showed her several pictures of what I wanted. A low mock messy bun (my hair is not long) and pulled back to the side on the front. She was rude about that too. She said my hair would be difficult to work because it was short but she would try.
While they were working, we tried to talk to them, we were trying to chill and have fun. We didn’t get more than a few words in very bad manner. When she was done, she took a picture to show me and OMG. Nothing like what I asked and showed. She decided that instead of a bun, she would do a rose. Was that really the time to get creative? And the front, instead of side pulled back of the ears, she had my hair covering my face and forehead. Even though I was stressed out, even though they were late, rude and did not do what I asked, I was still calm and polite. I knew with that rudeness of her, I did not want to upset her, I just wanted my hair done for my wedding. I said «you know, I think I would like to have the front like pulled back and more like…» And due to my stress and that English is not my first language I could not find the right words to explain, so she yelled at me. She yelled «IF YOU DON’T TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT I CAN’T DO IT, YOU HAVE TO TELL ME!!»
That was when James arrived for my make up and that was when I started crying. I completely broke down. James was quick to step in and tell her that she could leave, that he would finish and fix my hair. Then she left. Time was super tight by then. James was wonderful, he has a low soothing voice and having my girls there helped a lot to calm me down. However, I have puffy eyes in my pictures from the intense crying I did during my styling session. He fixed my hair but it wasn’t perfect. I am sure if he did not have to fix it and if he had more time, he would have done a great job. He fixed it as best as he could for the little time we had left and with what he was working with, the crappy job that woman did. But no it was not perfect, no it was not what I expected or dreamed of. My make up was ok. I said I did not normally wore a lot of make up and he applied it very natural and light. I was in such a shock that I didn’t tell him I wanted it to show more, but I admit that was my omission since I was already very upset at that point.
Honestly, I do not think the result was worth what I paid and the horrible experience just before to my wedding was unnecessary.
Again, as I said, James was great and he did what he could with the time left and with what she had done. But that does not dismiss the fact that she was incredibly rude, that she did something completely different to what I asked and that she yelled at me and made me cry on my wedding day.
I know they said they stay until you are happy, but as I mentioned, they were late and by the time James was done I had barely enough time to get my dress on and run to the limo.

I booked glam squad though chapel of the flowers and omg… Alex did my make up so beautiful! I have gotten my make up done in a lot of places such as Macy’s, sephora, Mac ect. But by far Alex did the best job! I have never been so happy with my make up before! He made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. He was also extremely friendly, and fun! Very easy to talk too. He knows how to do make up! My make up lasted ALL day, fake eye lashes, and tears! None of my make up got messed up! I highly recommend you book your make up appointment here and possibly ask for Alex! Thank you so much Alex and Glam Squad for making me look beautiful on my wedding day!

I booked the Glam Squad for my wedding at The Chapel of the Flowers on March 7, 2015. James and his assistant came over to my hotel room and got me and my sister ready. I got the old Hollywood glam with red lip look. Hair done with volume and very glamorous. Even help put my veil just right on my hair. Greatly recommend!

I just got married in vegas 2 weeks ago and glam squad did my hair and airbrush makeup. I was really nervous and they were very calming. They talked to me while getting me ready and calmed my nerves. They were very complimentary and asked me what I felt comfortable with. They were understandably running 10 mins late and called to let me know. They were very professional and efficient. I loved both my hair and makeup. I would recommend this company 100 percent! Thanks for helping make my wedding magical!

–Be sure that you give them a several hour cushion to get to you fixed up pretty.
–If you’re getting your hair did and your make-​up done, please please PLEASE be considerate to the other brides with their appointments that day and be ready when the Glamsquad gets there.

I had a good experience. My wedding was on 10÷11÷14. They work in teams of two, so I got Elise (whom communicated with me the whole time) and someone else whose name I don’t think I was told. But they were both lovely– very sweet, extremely enthusiastic, playful and did everything that you wanted.
They showed up almost an hour after the appointment time, which was booked between 12:30 PM-1:00 PM. I was already on top of this because I read several reviews regarding them not being on time so I made sure to book a good couple hours before I was getting picked up by the limo. I am being forgiving about this because they said that they’re always arriving early but that it only takes that one diva Bridezilla to decide that she’s going to do something inconsiderate like take a shower right at her appointment time («True story!» they said), which then sets the domino effect of making the rest of their appointments after that one extremely late. Apparently, this is not an unusual thing.
I showed them two photos on my laptop of how I wanted my hair. They took one look at it and Bam! Done. I absolutely loved my hair. It could not have looked nicer. Considering my hair is down past my waist, they were quite fast in getting it puffed up and curled. The only thing was that the curls started to straighten out just a little bit after an hour, though it lasted that way the rest of the day into late night. So make sure they get lots of product in that sucker.
They did not spend a lot of time on anything. It was pretty quick and after they were done, they had me look at it and asked if there was anything that they needed to fix or adjust. My husband absolutely loved how I look and he never likes when I wear make-​up. Everyone thought it looked nice. I got compliments, even from strangers I passed by.

I flew to Vegas with my fiancé and two friends. We landed Sunday night and I booked Glamsquad for that Monday afternoon.
The artists were on time and made me feel so comfortable! My friend had a blast just watching them sculpt my hair and face, and we both adored their funny banter. They immediately told me how beautiful my eyes were sans makeup… Which made me love them even more.
Anyways. They had photos printed out of what I had requested a month prior, and set straight to work. They took maybe a little over an hour to do my elbow length hair in glorious victory rolls with soft curls down my back. Oh, and transform my face into a gorgeous, Jenna Jamesonesque visage of beauty. They were excited the entire time, you can really tell this is their calling. They’re artists in the true sense of the word and they don’t just want to see you made «more beautiful,» but they also want to let the true you shine. Cheesy? Sure, but that’s the amazing experience I had.
My smoky eyes had a pop of iridescent sparkle and a flick of winged liner. The showstoppers were the faux lashes and strong brows that made my eyes look almond shaped and exotic. My cheekbones looked like a model’s and my lips had a subtle «my lips but better» color.
And hey, the hair lasted all week! I got SO MANY compliments in many languages by hundreds of people while walking the Vegas strip and Fremont with my funky retro ‘do. And this was three days after the wedding. Score!
Y’all made this Detroit-​born Iowa-​cured girl a very very blissed-​out lady on her special day! My skin is oily as hell, I’m a crier, and Vegas isn’t known for early nights or temperate climes. But still, I looked luminous all night long. Even my friends were stunned and my friend’s husband deemed me «radiantly beautiful.»
I HIGHLY recommend these lovely people. I cannot imagine a better experience. If I find myself in Vegas again, I will get my hair and makeup done as a treat – it’s cheaper than a massage at the hotel spa and it’s saying a LOT that I would prefer it!
