Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas Airport

We spent one night here to be near the airport. We probably should have just stayed at the airport. Hate to be negative, but our room, while quite clean, was on the small side and noisy. Not only did we hear others in adjoining rooms but there was a mechanical noise in our bathroom that couldn’t be stopped. It was, however, drowned out by the noise of the AC, so there’s that. The front desk personnel were very nice, check out and in went smoothly. Not a ghastly stay by any means, but we’ve visited many better Hamptons. By the way, there are no restaurants or anything else nearby, so you’ll need your car or a taxi to get a meal. The Hampton does operate an airport shuttle every half hour.

Spent a night before going home. Staff are friendly and shuttle driver is very good at her job. Room is clean and comfy, breakfast is hot and many choices. You could return your rental vehicle a day before to save some money and they will take you back. What happened to me was they had some problem to find me a shuttle to take me back but then they told me to hail a cab and they would pay for it. It is quite brilliant!

I recently stayed here for a business conference and was pleased with the hotel! I never normally stay at Hampton Inn’s, but overall, very happy with my stay. Nice clean room, immaculate fitness center, free coffee and tea all day long, free wifi, great variety to the free breakfast, and very good customer service. I wish it was within walking distance of more restaurants as it doesn’t have a restaurant otherwise (that said, they have delivery to several restaurants in the area). Happy with my stay — thank you!

We stayed here for one night while we were in town for an event. Parking was easy, check in was fast and we were given a king suite on the 3^rd floor. The elevators were clean but really slow. It wouldn’t have been bad but the cleaning staff were using them most of the time and their carts took up the entire elevator.
We arrived in the room and the electronic key actually worked the first time! The room was very clean. We had a couch that was quite comfortable, along with a flat screen TV and about 60 channels. There was also a mini bar area but we forgot to bring drinks! The lighting in the bathroom/​counter area was excellent, as was the water pressure!
The bed was uncomfortable and only made worse by the air conditioner unit 2 feet away blowing directly on the bed. There were two units in the room but they were both controlled together on the wall. We had to make a choice between freezing all night or turning off the unit and going into thermal overload! We chose to leave it on half the night and turn it off the other half. Strangely enough, our friend, Larry the cockroach didn’t seem to mind the temperature as he was scurrying around the bathroom in pure delight! My wife didn’t have any shoes on when she found him at 2:30am so she just put the trash can over him so he wouldn’t be inclined to crawl in bed with us. That’s not the kind of threesome I keep requesting! We’ll see if the cleaning crew finds Larry in the morning!

WOW! I am horrified with this hotel. I wish that I could give the hotel a negative star rating. Let me explain why.
I booked the hotel weeks ago because there was a huge music festival going on and most of the city was full and completely booked.
When I first checked in, they seemed pretty nice. Although when I asked for a small refrigerator to be brought up to the room to keep my medication in, they informed me that they could not accommodate my medical need. I asked for a manager, but apparently there was no one on duty to assist me for over a hour. I decided I would check back later.
When I opened the door to my hotel room, a terrible scent greeted me. I didn’t know what it was until I took off my sandals to walk over to the bed, and I stepped in a big damp stop of carpet. That’s when it hit me. There was VOMIT there, and it was poorly cleaned. It was still wet in the carpet, and I stepped in it! I immediately called the front desk and told them of the terrible incident. The front desk lady told me to come down to her and move all of my stuff out of the room. So I carried all of my luggage down there with me, to which I was informed it would probably be another hour until I could get another room. I asked once again if I could have a refrigerator in my room for my insulin and she told me I could keep it down the way with the maids! What if my blood sugar gets really high and they can’t get it for me in time. I don’t think they understand the reality associated with things like this.
After this unfortunate experience, I asked if I could use the business center so I can book another hotel and be refunded for my stay. She said yes. 5 minutes later, she came into the business center and handed me room keys and said «ill have a refrigerator to your new room in the next 30 minutes, don’t book somewhere else».
I went up to my new room and it didn’t smell bad! I cant tell you how relieving that was, but once I sat down I noticed a BLOOD STAIN on the pillow!!! And when I pulled the blanket down there were yellow stains on the sheets. I am getting sick just thinking about it. I took the pillow down to the front desk and asked for a manager, which is when I heard a woman named Lucy say very rudely «What do you want». I told her about the vomit in the first room, and how the employee was very nice and quickly assisted me with a new room. Then, I handed her the pillow with the blood stain and I pulled out my phone to take a photograph but she took it away from me immediately. She told me to go up to the room, and the maids would change the sheets. She also said she would call to see if she can compensate for the inconveniences.
The maids quickly came up and asked me if I wanted to move rooms again. I have spinal problems and it is too difficult for me to move all of my heavy luggage 3 times, so I told them that the room is fine as long as they change the sheets. Surely enough I am waiting in my room for Lucy to call me, and the phone rings. I answered and she said «We don’t feel that we can meet your cleanliness standards, so we are going to refund you and you need to vacate the room». I told her that the sheets were clean now and I’m fine with the room, its too difficult for me to move again with my medical condition. Surely enough, she said «I am going to have you escorted out if you do not leave in the next 5 minutes.»
I went downstairs to speak with her, and I asked her to explain how she can do that because I do not understand. I wanted clean sheets without blood and vomit in the room. She proceeded to start yelling at me and humiliated me in front of 6 other people in the lobby. I couldn’t help but start to cry from the way she had treated me. I moved all of my stuff to my car while in terrible pain from my spine. When everything was moved I went back to her and gave her the room keys and asked if I could sit in the lobby to call corporate and use the wifi to book another hotel since I am not from the area and it was 115 degrees out side. I told her that she city was totally booked, to which she replied, «I know its not my problem. She again yelled at me and said I can if I want, but then it will be trespassing and she will call the police.
I sat in the hot parking lot suffering from the heat and in tears because I needed to sort out the issue with corporate. They told me I would not be refunded for 48 hours, and in the mean time the entire city was full. Each time corporate would talk to this hotel and transfer back to me, there was a new problem. She lied and said that I was still in the room. She watched me leave and came outside and saw me sitting in my car. I will never, ever, stay at this hotel again. Vomit and blood are both health hazards, and the poor service is by far unacceptable.

Lovely experience… I stayed last weekend during the iheartradio event and I can’t complain. I believe I paid like $ 119 a night. It was a nice and quiet ambient, breakfast is included so we went down to check it out… It needs some more variety but descent for the hotel size I guess… Their waffles are soooo good though!!! The hotel cleanliness I must say is their best feature! There is also plenty of parking. It would be worthy of 5 stars but the room I was assigned had a HORRIBLE view it was literally a wall with bird poop EVERYWHERE! towards the bottom you can slightly see some cars parked but for the most part it was wall and poop outside the window definitely something no one wants to wake up to in the mornings.

It’s a Hampton folks! The place was very clean during my stay. The staff providing personable top notch customer service.
There is ample parking at this place and the continental breakfast is your run of the mill continental breakfast.
Trust me you won’t miss your fight if you hiding out at this hotel as the landing strip is directly across Sunset Blvd. Planes started dropping out the sky at 5:00 am.

First impression after exciting the elevator on the second floor, I was worried. Wide, empty, soiled carpet and marred walls.
Entered the room and forgot all about what I’d just come from.
Spacious. The room would serve well as a descent studio apartment. Everything needed and expected given the rate was available.
The lobby was adequate. The free breakfast was better than most.
There’s nothing nearby to walk to but the neighborhood was better than most given its proximity to the airport.

I normally stay at a hotel on the strip when I go to Vegas; however, this time the hotels were either sold out or extremely expensive. We decided to stay off the strip and after seeing good reviews on this hotel I decided to give it a shot.

My new favorite place to stay in Vegas.

This hotel was perfect for my family and I after 2 long flights. It was clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the young lady at the front desk was exceptional. She suggested a really good place for us to eat ! It was really quiet, forgot we were even near the planes (room 314).

I received the crib I requested, but my little one kept getting his arms and legs stuck in between the rails when he rolled around. I was afraid he would hurt himself while he slept, because he’s an active sleeper. Breathable mesh bumpers would have been nice.
My experience was great and I would visit again.

I stayed here for 2 nights. I was really impressed with the great customer service and overall cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. Every employee of the hotel that I encountered was very friendly. The room itself had everything I needed — big comfy bed, free Wifi, work desk, and large clean bathroom. There is free breakfast served each morning and I was very pleased with the selection (not continental breakfast).
The location is great especially if you need to stay close to the airport but can easily get to the Strip. Note that you can actually see the airport runway but the sound of landing planes never bothered me. I also requested a late check out and was given one extra hour. Overall I was very pleased with my stay.
I will definitely stay here again.

Clean, spacious, quite, and nice breakfast

Exceeded my expectations. Rooms were well kept and clean. Very spacious. Great if you have kids.

I live in Vegas — but sometimes I want to enjoy a little «Staycation». On a spur of the moment decision, I booked a stay here for the weekend. I’m glad I made that decision!
The staff, as I walked in were friendly & easy to chat with. I did arrive early, so they let me check in early!
The room was a surprise, it’s like a mini studio apartment, I could absolutely love here!
Clean, spacious an echoed relaxation.
I went out to eat then came back to enjoy the swimming pool. There were kids and families hanging out — no prob for me being from a large family myself, the weather was 90 degrees that day, who wouldn’t want to spend it in the warm, but cooling, water!
What I also liked about this location is that it’s central to many things I would imagine a traveller may need access to… for instance:
Main bus lines to the strip, airport is right next door for easy flight access, several diverse restaurants in the very near vicinity (e.g. Hawaiian, pizza, Mexican, deli’s, Japanese, American etc… also, many of them deliver right to your room!).
There are also nearby stores to shop at or get supplies (Walmart, 7 – 11, 99 cents store, Albertsons, Radio Shack, etc…)
Another amazing thing is, this hotel is directly across from Sunset Park, kids can play here, there’s sandy volleyball courts, basketball courts, football & baseball fields, duck pond, you can jog, walk, ride a bike, it’s a very large park spanning three of four blocks!
If you’re in town for business, if you want to be near to the strip, but not stay on the strip, or if you’re local and want to staycation for an affordable cost, I would keep this place in mind! :)

This review is only for their car park service.
I always park my car here when I’m going out of town… which has been much more frequently within the last year. The front desk is always very friendly and the shuttles to the airport are always pretty prompt. If its a busy time of day with a lot of customers, they always leave on time every ½ hour. Sometimes I’ve had to wait a little longer than I’d like when I land for the shuttle to pick me up, but its never been unreasonable. I also feel like its a much safer parking lot than some of the other hotels near McCarran and I’m never worried about leaving my car there for a long period of time. And if I have a morning flight and breakfast is being served, they always let me eat something before leaving for the day… a great perk!
My only complaint would be for one particular employee who works at the front desk. He’s usually there in the early mornings. He always makes me wait 30 mins for the next departing shuttle to the airport even though I get there on the ½ hour mark (which the employee I talk to on the phone the previous night instructs me to do) because the «other guests will be late». Well the other guests had not even boarded the shuttle yet so I’m not sure why I was asked to wait and take a later shuttle and almost miss my flight!

Parked my car here. Seems like a nice place but if there’s any issue they’ll expect you to resolve it and waste your time rather than assume customers are honest. I.e. Didn’t accept receipt on my phone, asked for confirmation number so I gave that after waiting on phone 10 mins for it, then they said that wasn’t good enough that they needed an email of receipt with confirmation. Idc whose fault it is just don’t make me jump through hoops while I’m trying to get to the airport. If my car ends up OK I’ll bump up a star. Its better to treat every person with trust rather than everyone like the few dirtbags in the world.

This hotel is lovely and the staff is so friendly! Stayed here recently, but lived here Mon-​Fri a couple of years ago, so have a lot of experience with this hotel and I’m never disappointed. It’s a clean hotel. There have never been any issues with the cleanliness. They have standard rooms and suites, with comfy beds and very comfortable duvets. This location is close to the airport, shopping, and The Strip. I didn’t have a car on this trip, and they have a couple of pretty good restaurants close by.
They have 24-​hour coffee available in the lobby, as well as coffee makers and coffee in the rooms. They have a pretty nice little breakfast with quite a few options. Also, they usually have a bowl of fruit out during the day and freshly baked cookies in the afternoon and evening.

We were traveling with a 7 ½ month old and needed a place to stay one night. I picked this particular hotel because of the reviews and I have to say I was very happy with our stay.
We got a King Suite and the room was a good size. There was enough room for all of our stuff as well as a playpen. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The Staff was excellent and friendly. The breakfast had a wide selection to choose from and we were very happy with what was served. If we are back in Las Vegas, I would chose this hotel again. It is close to the airport, but I didn’t hear the planes. It isn’t too far from the strip either.

Pleasantly surprised is an understatement! I was a little nervous to stray from the Red Rock, but wanted to be closer to the strip on this visit. The value on Hampton was unbelievable — I even «splurged» on a King Suite — and so was the entire experience!
The 2 ladies working my check-​in shift (3 pm on Saturday) were awesome! Very friendly, helpful, and set a great tone for our entire visit. Check-​in and –out were a breeze, and I felt like I was a VIP. :-) My BF went to the concierge at 2 am for a fork (he was able to microwave a Marie Callendar’s frozen meal after midnight, and dammit if he was going to let anything get in his way) — he said the guy at the counter was amazingly friendly and nice — way to go, Hampton staff!
Room was spotless, all appliances are high-​quality, bed is SUPER comfy, perfect AC (over 105 degrees this weekend!), refreshing pool area with towels, and OMG the complimentary breakfast was so good! Eggs, potatoes, ham, a waffle press, yogurt, cereal, pastries, juices, coffees… something for everyone and everything was great. They also have free coffee/​tea in the lobby ²⁴⁄₇.
This hotel is going above and beyond in providing high-​quality service for an affordable price in a safe neighborhood. Only a 10-​minute drive from the strip meant we didn’t have to ditch our friends, and having a mini-​kitchen in the room meant we saved some $$ from pricey Strip drinks. ;-)
On my «best» list for future visits — glad we found this place when we did!
