Manny does not have capacity for large jobs or consistent service; he is over his head. He does not appear to have employees, but uses part time workers as contractors who work after their ‘real job’.
He did not complete the job he was paid for. I made a progress payment (out of our agreement and out of desperation since the work was at a stand still) and never heard from him again. He left trash in the front yard for days and never removed it.
Endless delays, never kept a schedule he was supposed to. The person he used to do the work did not understand what to do or how to since Manny does not communicate well with his ‘employees’. He did not pay this contractor in a timely fashion even though I had paid him. I could go on. Stay away from this one. I’m with Amanda on her review, he is not only unlicensed but UNprofessional.

This is an unlicensed contractor, which like me will leave you no recourse if he screws something up. The contractor’s Boards says they can’t do anything for me unless I have a receipt, (which I didn’t get, possibly because he is unlicensed?). I thought Unilocal required licensing but apparently these sites can be auto-​generated by consumers giving reviews. You can’t say you weren’t warned.

My landscapers discovered a plumbing problem in the main line into the house and they wouldn’t go further until I fixed it. Manny picked up my call right away and said he had availability today (MLK Day). He arrived a little after his estimated time window (if he had updated me on the delay it would be 5 stars). But once he got here he jumped right in and quickly gave me a fair estimate. He knocked the project out, and went above and beyond to track down a hidden kink in the line we hadn’t seen yet. The price was very fair. He was friendly, tidy, & hard working. Would definitely call him back for future projects.

I had a mystery leak so i called Manny. He showed up on-​time and was very friendly in showing me what/​where the problem was. He quoted me a very reasonable price to replace the outside main line. I checked and he had the best price. Before back-​filling, he invited me to review his work and showed me that it was repaired correctly. The guy is honest, dependable and does great work. I highly recommend him.

When I called, he said he would come to give me a free estimate. Guy was supposed to come at 4pm. Arrives nearly 1.5 hours late. Then charges me $ 50 for service fee. His excuse was that it normally cost $ 65 for him to come out. Went from free to $ 50. Would not recommend ever. Ripoff!!!
Edit: There seems to have been a misunderstanding. Manny refunded my money. All is well.

Can’t say enough great things about manny… he is amazing. He was here within 35 mins of me calling him. He fixed my toilet. totally reasonable. Then on to the ac… my upstairs unit was put and I was getting hot… he bet the price by 200 dollars of another company. He was so nice, honest, and I had just a really great experience. I would absolutely to anyone. he is amazing!!! Thanks manny…

Manny is highly recommended!!! He helped me out replacing a water heater this morning and did an excellent job. His repsonse time was under 30 minutes and he was done with the job in less than 2 hours. That included pipe work and all. Very impressive. I’ll be keeping his info handy.

For an honest, good and prompt repair of your plumbing problems, I highly recommend Manny. He arrived in 2 hours and quickly fixed the leak. The other companies’ estimates were based upon the maximum distance for the repair. Manny’s reasonable estimate was based upon shorter footage based on his practical experience. We will use his services for any future plumbing problems.

Manny showed up with his partner within the hour to fix my broken AC unit. I was afraid the entire thing had blown but he said it was most likely the capacitor and he could fix that right now for $ 120. 30 min later, AC blowing cold air and the day was saved. Great service, nice guy, fair and honest. Highly recommend.

Called Manny today at 3:00 and caught him finishing up a job. I needed a water heater installed and I had exhausted my limited handyman abilities. Manny said he could be here in an hour and he arrived exactly one hour later. He had quoted me a flat charge of $ 150 for labor on the phone. He upgraded the drain, installed two new dielectric nipples and told me that he did not allow for replacing an electrical outlet and re-​plumbing the hot water recirculation pump due to a different outlet location on the new water heater. He asked if an additional $ 40 would be OK. It seemed totally fair to me.

We have the trifecta and Manny will get my future plumbing repair business-​guaranteed. By the way, he is a licensed AC technician, also.
