This was my first time to use a nanny service while in Vegas and I was very pleased. Janell was always prompt and professional in responding back to my questions and she actually contacted me the day before the scheduled service to verify everything. Lynda was my nanny for my 3 month old daughter. She made me feel very comfortable from the start. She gave me a detailed log of feedings, diaper changes, etc. after the night was over and she texted me with updates throughout the evening. She also made a very cute craft with my daughter’s footprints that will always be a reminder of my daughter’s first trip to Vegas and my brother’s wedding. I will definitely use Happy Kids and Lynda again! Thank you for everything. It was such a relief to enjoy my brother’s wedding and not have to worry about my little one, knowing she was in capable hands.

On behalf of Happy Kids Maui, I would like to address Mal D’s negative review of Happy Kids Las Vegas. (Our nannies never sat for his kids, so they couldn’t be the «worst babysitters.») Happy Kids Maui went into Las Vegas with a woman who, unbeknownst to us, had signed a non compete form with our competition. She was a nanny with them but never on the office side of their business. She started Happy Kids in Las Vegas and things were going great. Our competition took her to court and the judge ruled that Happy Kids had to cease doing business because of the non compete. We took the judgement seriously and quit sending nannies out on jobs. This is an unfortunate situation, as we were providing jobs and offering a valuable service for less money than the competition. We hope to get this situation cleared up and get Happy Kids back in business.

I was pretty nervous to have someone taking care of my 2-​year-​old boy without knowing and meeting once. But my worriness was gone right after I talked to Janell and she was so sweet. Just got back from our trip from Las Vegas with the kids. We used Happy kids twice while we were there and could not be happier. The communication from Jannel the manager and Tammi our nanny was superior. Tammi showed up early to our hotel, brought lots of toys and was so lovely and professional. The kids went for a nature walk, swimming, out for ice cream and pizza and were bathed, teeth brushed and fast asleep when we got home. I felt so comfortable leaving the children with Tammi. The kids loved her and couldn’t wait for her to come back for day two. Worth every penny for a night or two out. We will definitely call Happy Kids next time we travel to Las Vegas.

We were very impressed with the personalized service and professionalism of this company. The manager, Janell, made contact with us to figure out who would be a great fit. The nanny, Ms. Tamara was professional, credentialed, background checked and already a teacher. We felt very safe leaving our child with a highly competent individual. The communication is excellent between the client and the company. The nanny provided a written up detailed report of all of the activities, food, and other routines. She also brought plenty of toys that are developmentally appropriate. Janell cares about the services and even follows up to make sure that your expectations are met. We will definitely be working with this company for our childcare needs on our return trips to Las Vegas. Thank you to Janell and Ms. Tamara for providing the high level of care, so that parents may truly relax and enjoy their time off. Simply a wonderful experience. After numerous failed attempts to get a nanny during the day, happy kids came to the rescue. Janell who runs operation took my call and gave me confidence that her company and the specific nanny would take care of my kids. The nanny was on time, prepared and professional on arrival. She took great care of my 6 and 9 year old for 5 hours. The kids reported having a great time with her. In fact, their only complaint was that I came back too soon! I would absolutely recommend this service! Janell called me to follow up shortly after the nanny left. Great customer service. As a bonus the rates were very competitive.

During our family spring break trip, my husband and I wanted to enjoy an evening out in Vegas without the kids. After searching the internet, I came across Happy Kids. Janell contacted me within 30 minutes of sending an inquiry. She was very professional and went over every aspect of the business with me and answered all questions I had thoroughly. The nanny we were given was Tamara– she was absolutely fantastic! She arrive at the time specified and was very professional. She brought a suitcase of toys, games, puzzles, and paint with her which my kids thoroughly enjoyed. I received text updates on my children throughout the night and a detailed sheet of what went on when I returned. My children really enjoyed having her here and were requesting that she come back throughout the following day! Their rates are fantastic! I’m not sure how my wife found these guys (because they don’t come up when you search for babysitting in vegas on Unilocal), but I’m glad she did. We travel a lot with our 4 year old and 11 month old daughters. We’ve used babysitting services in Chicago, Napa, Mammoth, and Vegas. This was one of the best experiences we’ve had. Janell was very prompt and responsive, answered all our questions, and provided us with background information on our sitter for the night. Our babysitter Tamara was fantastic. She was great with both kids, and when our daughter Molly showed how much she liked Doc McStuffins, Tamara bought some DocMcStuffins puzzles and activities to do with Molly on our second night with her. She gave us a comprehensive report on Megan (our 11 month old), when she ate, when she changed her, etc at the end of the night, and what activities she and Molly did during the night. She was able to keep Molly entertained the whole night without the TV (which is better than I can do). And their prices are better than any other service we’ve used ($ 28/​hr for two kids!). I just wish they were in all the other locations we usually travel to. Needless to say we will be using them again (actually, we already did — we had an unexpected trip to Vegas just 2 weeks later because the snow was so lousy in Mammoth). We even called to concierge at our hotel to recommend them rather than the (more expensive) other service they recommended to us prior to our checking in.
