History

Established in 2012.

Horizon was founded by two Silicon Valley veterans, Roy Nakamura and Carolyn Renaud, who were looking for entrepreneurial opportunities away from the corporate rat race. They chose fast-​growing Las Vegas where they started out providing tutoring and training as well as repair and support for computer hardware and software. But the world was changing. Fast.

Roy and Carolyn soon found themselves spending more time designing websites than fixing computers. They then quickly learned that just building and launching websites is like writing a lonely library book that someone forgot to catalog (to use a metaphor involving Roy’s favorite hangout in Las Vegas — and yes, he’s not a typical Vegas resident).
