Hot Diggity Dog Daycare

This is the most disorganized business I’ve ever experienced. We sent our dogs there before a move to Colorado. It was originally a late pickup, but I called to tell them it would be earlier, no notes were changed. They made our transport guy wait because they hadn’t done our dogs nails, which they had known about for days! THEN, they didn’t give the transport guy any of the food we had left for the trip. NO FOOD FOR A 12 HR TRIP. Plus their dishes from being fed the night before were filthy including one having dog feces all over it. I have moved out of state now but Las Vegans DONT SEND YOUR DOGS HERE

I use this facility for boarding my dogs while I travel for work and they alway take very good care of my dogs. My dogs are older and one cannot hear or see but she does great here since they offer private boarding. Love the animal handlers and you can tell they just love their job!
I travel a lot for work and I have access to my dogs here any time day or night here, which is important for me because I don’t like to be home without my fur babies!

I have used HDD since they opened. If they gave 10 stars it would not be enough. Wonderful owners. Kind and caring staff. The daycare is always clean and they truly love all the animals that come there. I trust them 100%. So happy we have them. Thanks HDD.

This place is clean, affordable, and staff is friendly. My babies were here for private boarding. They get their own space to play during the day and you have the option to watch them online if you choose too. We had them washed and dropped off when we got back. They were the same… happy, which to me says a lot about their stay. Thanks for taking great care of our babies and next the time we are out of town we will definitely be dropping them off here. Wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thanks again!

Everyone at Hot Diggity Dog Daycare is so nice. It was our first time leaving Ellie at Daycare and we were nervous, but all went well. She was a private board and had her own room.
The staff is very knowledgeable. We already have plans to take her there in November, and again in July.

Took my dog here while I was moving across country wanted to see family there for a few days. Staff was great dog has fun very clean nice place. I’m going back up there for Christmas and will ping taking my dog there again!!!

My Irish Setter is here frequently for daycare and occasionally for boarding.
I am completely and totally thrilled with the level of care my dog receives here, the people who provide it, and the flexibility and helpfulness of the staff.
I am of the mind that a good dog is a tired dog and to that end they do well. There are cameras available for you to check in on your animal.
Important to note that this place is almost exclusively inside. Dogs cannot cool themselves like people and can in fact suffer a heat injury at a relatively low temperature as well as the sun burn and eye damage just like people. To that end, this place is perfect for dog daycare in Vegas.
The hours are long and flexible. If you need them, someone is there. They are staffed 24 hours a day.
The employees are fantastic, one comes to mind immediately that is among the best I have dealt with anywhere. Her name sounds like Rhonda but it is something else like Alonda or something.

My boy loves it here! Friendly staff, very accommodating, and you get a punch star card for every stay, once filled you get a free day. They are awesome. I had a horrible experience at Doggie District, they’re a rip off. I would try Hot Diggity Dog Daycare before being lured by any other Doggie Daycare.

I’ve taken my female pitbull here for daycare on the weekends and for boarding when I am on my vacation. My pibbles love this place. I know because every time I bring her here she enters wagging her tail. It’s a sure sign that she is comfortable not only with the staff but also the other dogs who are there for daycare and boarding.
The one thing I like most about this daycare is that they have a staff member staying overnight with the dogs. I have boarded my dogs at other daycares that close sharply at 7 because they don’t have overnight staff. It has always made me wonder what would happen to my dog if a fire broke out at those places. By the time anyone responded, the boarders would probably have perished. When I leave her with Hot Diggity Dog, I am confident that someone is there to help if there was an emergency.
The second bonus is the discounts that they provide for long term boarding and repeat daycare customers. And they also do a fabulous job at grooming my girl. I really appreciate the discounts as well as the great care that Hot Diggity Dog provides. I only wish they would open another daycare in Henderson.

I absolutely LOVE Hot Diggity Dog Daycare and so does our beagle, Lilly! We have been using their services since they first opened. She spends many nights there while we travel out of state.
I really like the facility, they have huge windows so the doggies can look outside while in a large play area together. They have the dogs separated according to size. She only goes into her kennel at feeding or night time… she runs around and plays with her doggie friends all day!
I love the flexibility of hours, I can pick up and drop off Lilly whenever I want.
They also provide nail trimmings and bathing which is awesome!
I drive about ½ hour to take her there, but to me it’s worth it, I know Lilly is well taken care of and she is extremely happy (major tail wagging) when we pull in the parking lot!
All of the employees are very nice, you can truly tell they care about their 4 legged guests!!!

The lady that worked the grave shift tonight– was so sweet ! She even let me rinse off my dog! –just incase he decided to roll around in others pee, haha. Thanks again!

I feel bad that I’m just now giving this place their 5 stars. But we have been taking our Lucy here for a few months now and they treat her like family. The place is always clean and I appreciate how they treat my dog.

I took my dog here twice. The first time it was fine, the second time not so much.
I picked him up and he had dog poop attached to his behind and the whole area was very sore. When I called to complain to ask for a refund I was told that the manager would call me back since it was later on at night. This was fine since I figured a manager wouldn’t be in at 11pm but it took TWO days and another phone call for someone to get back to me! I feel that a frustrated customer should be taken care of within 24 hours.
When the manager called me he said he talked to someone that was with my dog towards the end of the day and they didn’t see any poop on his butt. This made me feel like he thought I was making it up and that this had happened once I took him home, which was NOT the case.
He asked how he could assist me and I said if he would be able to give me my money back or help pay for the vet bills that would be great. He said he wouldn’t be able to give me my money back but would be able to help with the vet bills. I asked him to pay the while thing ($ 90) and he said he would only be able to do half ($ 45). I was this was fine because I didn’t want to argue but I didn’t think this was right. I wouldn’t have had to go to the vet if my dog was treated probably at the day care. He first asked if instead of a check if I would like a gift card for $ 45. I replied with «no thank you» because I will not be going back here again. I finally got the check in the mail about 2.5 weeks later.
I would be careful dropping your pet off here.

I’ve taken my Grimmy here a few times now since he has had artistic episodes in the past when left at home alone (paw painting with poo). He seems to rather enjoy his play dates there and the staff always seem happy to see him.
I also really enjoy the fact that they are not breed ignorant. Rather than just telling me no because my fur babby is a pit bull, they have an evaluation to ensure a dog would behave well while playing with others. This goes above and beyond what other doggy dare cares around me are doing.
I’ve not tried their self service bathing area, but I think that is a great idea. They even offer manicure services for dogs (reasonably priced as well… a nail trim is the same price as the groomer that I take him to every 2 to 3 weeks as his nails grow lightening quick).
I really can tell that the staff actually care for animals, even seeing one of the girls bringing her own fur baby in.
They are even understanding of Grimm’s elevated energy level (he loves to accost his friends with loads of kisses and will literally play all day long with other doggies if allowed), which I find awesome.
The indoor play area is great in my opinion because of the heat Vegas has to offer.
I only have one complaint really. I wish that the weekend day care hours went later than five pm.

K’Leeci and I are still new to Hot Doggity Dog but it was truly love at first sight! ;) K’Leeci is just a year and a half old with both an energy level and an attitude 2^nd to none. She’s a very good girl, she’s simply spunky! A lot of other facilities couldn’t have handled her. These guys are awesome. They took her in from day 1 and seemed completely willing if not happy to work with her. I love being able to check in on the camera (mostly for proud mommy moments… haha). I would absolutely LOVE if they had an outdoor cam I could watch, but I’m kind of obsessed with my baby and that may actually prevent me from working at all. Haha. We have only used their day care services thus far and, again, I can’t say enough about it! The staff is friendly and learned her name and quirks on day 1! I’m so glad I found them and that K’Leeci gets to hang out with them. She gets SO excited to go and is practically jumping out of the car window as we pull up.
K’Leeci is a pit bull terrier mix who can be a bit bossy. After watching just 1 interaction via webcam of Little Miss copping an attitude and the staff’s ability to check her, I am sold. They know when to let her play rough, when to tell her «enough», and when to give her a bit of a puppy timeout. As a dogmom there’s little more I could ask for from her caretakers. BUT they take it up to 11 («and that’s one louder, isn’t it?») with the TLC they put in. You can tell they genuinely care about these babies and want them to be happy and healthy.
LOVE it. LOVE HDD!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a doggy daycare closer to our house and went here for an assessment.
First, I experienced an overwhelming smell when we walked in.
Second, the ladies were hanging out at the front desk when we walked in and that led me to think that dogs are probably unsupervised more often than not.
Third, we went to the back to look at the boarding rooms and they looked so depressing. It was like boarding a dog in a coat closet.
Finally, the space outside just wasn’t sufficient for a large dog to enjoy the sunshine and run around.
I should add that the employees were very nice and did a great job showing us around. We just didn’t feel comfortable leaving our dogs after visiting other doggy daycares in town that offered more human supervision and outdoor play space.

My family loves this place! We take our dog Annie here whenever we have to take a trip and she can’t come with. I love that we can see her on the ODoggy app so we can make sure she’s okay!!! She always looks like she’s having a good time. When we get her back, it does take awhile for her to go back to her usual self because she wants attention and has been rough housing with the dogs. But it just takes a few days! Yesterday, we found out that they post pictures to Facebook! We were SO happy to see all the photos of her and thought that was so thoughtful for them to do! Overall, we love this place and keep coming back! (:

Boarded our 9 mos pitbull while we enjoyed a thanksgiving in Vegas. He was able to play with other dogs. Reasonably priced and really nice staff!
I am amending this review and it took me awhile to update:
We realized after we picked him up that his injuries were extensive. We had only been told about a neck injury (a large gash that they treated with antibiotics) but later we found that he had bloody scratches along his sides, as if he had been mounted.
We also noticed that he was timid and scared (his tail covering his backside) at the dog park recently. We have never seen him act like this prior to going to the day care.
They did take our dog in last minute during a holiday which we appreciate. But our advice is that maybe for younger dogs, it isn’t ideal, as there are a lot of other dogs and it can be overwhelming.

Not sure who loves HDD more, us or our dog. They keep him busy and tire him out so that we can have some quality human time. We’ve tried a couple other places but we always come back to HDD! Our dog gets excited when we tell him he’s gonna go play with his friends and see «the girls». It’s totally worth the extra couple miles for us because we trust them so much with our little boy.
Bonus: they give Military discounts. I’ve been trying to convince all of the Joe’s to bring their dogs here.

So we’ve been using HDD for about a year and a half.
They had me nervous a few months ago with all of the new (employee) faces coming and going, quality took a slight dip but they noticed and got it back where it belongs. I cheated on HDD and took our pooch somewhere else to try out, he seemed to like it but he didn’t get excited like he does at HDD.
He gets so happy when we pull up outside. He loves all the girls, they take good care of him, I never have to worry. When we pick him up he still has that smile on his face. I will never doubt you again. Even though you’re clear across town from us, we still bring him here. Love their grooming, boarding, and daycare. Great prices, convenient hours. Not to mention the web cams put my mind at ease. I can easily find our dog and see how he’s doing.
I recommend this place to all my friends with pups, just give it a try!
