Infinity Heating & Cooling

My AC system seemed to be running, but it wasn’t cooling the house. Based on positive Unilocal reviews, I called Infiniti and they sent Denis out to take a look. He arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and quickly got to work and diagnosed the problem: the start/​run capacitor had failed, so the compressor wasn’t running. He had a replacement part with him and the system was back to blowing cool air within 15 minutes. Denis checked a few more things and explained what he was doing and why, which I really appreciated. The whole service call took about 30 minutes. Denis knows his stuff and is very professional.

My air conditioner was shutting off intermittently on one of the hottest days yet this year. this started to occur around 6 PM Friday night. I searched via Unilocal and Infinity has great ratings from almost all of the reviews I read. I then called 4 different businesses. 2 did not answer so I left a message; one had an answering service and infinity had a live person who set an appointment on the spot! (only one other company even bothered to return my call and that was not until the following morning). It just so happened one of the Infinity techs, Coel was close by ands could arrive within the hour. GREAT! After he arrived and inspected the unit, he determined it apparently froze possibly due to extremely dirty filters. It also needed to be charged. He was prompt, did not suggest more work than needed, took the time to explain what could have happened and what to look for and to call again if needed. I highly recommend Infinity to anyone in need of expert, reliable, honest, customer friendly Heating or air conditioning service. A First Class Operation!

Awesome company to work with. From my initial call to our service, everything was spot on. Denis did a great job investigating the odd smell from our AC and then servicing it to prepare for our warm summers. He explained everything and gave tips to keep the unit in good shape. Overall super nice guy. It’s always nerve wracking having to call a company you’ve never used before but I was pleasantly surprised by their service and rates. We will not hesitate to call them in the future for any of our cooling or heating needs.

After getting screwed over by a technician with Honeybee, my neighbor referred Infinity Heating & Cooling and Denis was able to diagnose the simple «sabotage» within seconds. Infinity Heating & Cooling is the only company I trust with future heating or cooling issues.

Well, I have to echo the rest of the folks that have left reviews here. My 12 yr. old ac unit went out and I started getting estimates to repair it verses buying a new unit, I opted to replace the whole unit. I got multiple bids and meet with their techs to discuss them. Infinity was about the 3^rd company I contacted. I made an appt. with them, and Denis was the tech that came out. We hit if off pretty fast. I’ve been in construction for over 30 years and have a pretty good feel for guys that know their stuff vs. guys that are trying to convince you that they know their stuff. He went up and looked at it and talked to me about my options. Repair vs replace.
Over the next few days I got more bids, some were close to Infinity’s, some were higher.
So in the end I went with my gut instinct. I figured when Denis came out, he represented the face of the company, and from what he said they were all passionate about customer service. That’s important to me. I could’ve gotten the same unit at about the same price elsewhere, but would the company be there after the install? I feel they will. So I told them lets do it.
I met with the owner Rich on the day of the install. Him and another tech named Cole did the actually install. Like I said, I was in construction so I like to see how things go together. I went up and watched them for pretty much the whole process, and watching them work and talking with them made me more confident in my reason for picking them. The install went good and when they first started the new Trane unit up I was standing 2′ feet away, and actually didn’t realize it was on. It was that quiet! They went down and installed the new thermostat and we were good to go. I was happy and I know my 83 year old Mom was happy with their speed and efficiency.
So thanks guys for a great job and thanks to Alex for keeping me updated on the phone of when and who would be there to do the job. Little things like that make you feel like your business is important to them.

When our AC went out we hoped it was just a simple fix. Turned out that it wasn’t, and major repairs were required. Being that the cost was so high, I was extremely careful in interviewing contractors and getting quotes. To make matters worse, I had no experience with HVAC systems and I needed to learn how they work so that I could make an informed decision.
Not only did Richard at Infinity give us a great price, he spent an inordinate amount of time discussing the work with both myself and my wife. He really went out of his way to make sure that we understood what was happening and that we were comfortable with the work being done. We interviewed a number of other contractors who instead used that time to push scare tactics and up-​sell us on things we didnt need.
They were very inflexible on setting up terms, instead they will try hard to push you to use their their third party lender. That wasn’t what we wanted, but it may be good option for some people.
All in all, we were very happy with the service we received from Infinity and I won’t hesitate to use them again. Our new Trane condensing unit is purring like a kitten and pumping out plenty of cool air just in time for summer.

I live in CA but have a rental property in Las Vegas and was having issues with my AC unit (so these kind of issues have an added level of stress). I put in a quote/​service request and it was responded to within an hour. My friend who was supposed to meet the tech (Denis) at 4 wasn’t able to get there until 5 but Denis said no problem and showed up later. His work (and customer service) was second to none. He told me what the issue was, offered suggestions over the phone, fixed the problem, and took payment all within an hour. Highly recommended!

This is the first ac company that I can trust. They are so knowledgeable and not pushy. We have a dinosaur of an ac unit and we are first time homeowners, they gave me all the informaion i needed to make the best decision for my home and family. They explain how everything works… as the tech said «questions dont cost a thing» We will be getting a new ac unit with their help and expertise. I will give an update after we have the new unit installed.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for ac service.

Great company, honest, and reasonable prices! I was able to get a same day appointment and the company texted me before the technician arrived. Denis was friendly and courteous. I totally was expecting a repair that was in the 100’s of dollars — since it seems like nobody will even look at a problem without wanting a hundred bucks. Denis found a quick fix and was done in about 30 minutes, and for only $ 35! Highly recommend!

What a great local company. Denis is a professional that takes great pride in his work. Very knowledgeable and communicates to the customer as to the work that needs to be done. Company very responsive to customer and prices very fair. Will call them again whenever we need their service.

I mean, read the reviews below on Denis — one N! — and you won’t be disappointed either. I also feel obligated to write this because he whacked his head on my ceiling fan and I feel REALLY bad!
We just needed our microwave properly vented to the outside of the house. It ended up being a way easier job than expected, but Denis explained everything to me and made sure that everything was sealed properly and there was no leaks. He also was impeccably on time which is rare in the service industry and a nice change. He is great at his job and so personable… and no Richard he didn’t bribe me for a review ;)
Anything else we need for our HVAC I will not hesitate to call you guys. Job well done!

Let me tell you, it takes a lot to impress my mother. However, she was impressed with Infinity Heating and Cooling. The individual who came to the house, Denis, took the time to inspect the problem. He looked the the heating unit and inspected it carefully, only to find the issue with the thermostat. He replaced it and my mom stopped having issues with the heater turning off. She was very happy with the service. She stated Denis was very professional, on time, and did an excellent job. Now, its not often my mom gives a compliment, and thus, I would trust them with my heating and cooling needs. Personally, I have not had to use them, but my mom (who does not how to use Unilocal) insisted that I take the time to give them an excellent rating b/​c Denis was extremely patient and re-​checked the problem numerous times until he figured it out and then fixed it. He was honest.

After my home warranty expired, which wasn’t what it was cracked up to be to begin with, I searched the web and Unilocal to find a reliable service company to help with my aging air conditioning system. Thank goodness for sites like this where contractors are held accountable. I value honesty as the number one criteria for selecting a company, and after having Infinity service my air conditioning system, I must say, I think they are highly trustworthy and honest.
Denis (yes with one N) was the tech sent to my home. He called to let me know when he was on his way and arrived exactly when he said he would. He immediately greeted me and was highly professional and knowledgeable. I told him about the noise I was hearing and he started testing and evaluating the system, explaining things and keeping me informed with results he was finding. Everything was straight forward, no games, no ambiguity, and this was very much appreciated due to my limited knowledge of HVAC.
Turns out some kind of transfer switch was corroded and failing, and it was the source of the humming and noise that I was hearing. Denis didn’t pressure me, he just gave me the facts, and I made the decision to replace the switch. Everything else checked out fine, and he even gave me some tips about how to keep the unit clean and highly functional in order to extend it’s life cycle.
I highly recommend this company for any HVAC needs, and I must commend Denis, specifically, for renewing my confidence in home maintenance contractors.

Denis was awesome, he was honest and upfront with costs of various possibly problems. Turns out my fuse was just popped and I had extra so he popped it in and back to normal. I appreciate him not trying to hit me up for charges I didn’t need and offered advice and services for the coming summer. Thanks Denis, I will call if anything comes up again!

I was put in touch with Infinity via my home warranty company. Although my warranty company sucks, I was delighted to see they sent a very highly rated contractor to my home. Dennis was the tech who came out and confirmed what we suspected. We need a new compressor. Infinity provided us an estimate and we thought about it for a few days, but today Dennis came and fixed our unit. As my husband is a retired mechanical contractor, who was absolutely impressed with Dennis’ skills, knowledge and professionalism. Highly recommended.
