History
Established in 1997.
The idea of an all-you-can-eat buffet and extensive game room was exactly the combination John was looking for. After the success of the first location, John continued to build larger stores with more food and fun. John will admit that it motivated him further when he had so many people telling him that he was crazy to build a 16,000 sq. ft. pizza parlor in Victorville, even crazier to build a bigger one in Bakersfield at 26,000 sq. ft. and absolutely nuts for building Fresno at 50,000 sq. ft. He likes to prove something can be done when others say it can’t! Today you can visit John’s Incredible Pizza Company in Victorville, Bakersfield, Fresno, Modesto, Montclair, Roseville, Riverside, Buena Park and National City in California, as well as Beaverton in Oregon — and the company continues to grow.
Meet the Business Owner
John P.
Business Owner
John Parlet, Owner and Founder, moved to South Dakota in 1972 determined to fulfill his dream of selling pizzas to the public. He opened John’s Pizza Parlor as a 2,000 square foot, 65-seat, full-service restaurant. John’s commitment to serving «good food with a good attitude» proved to be a key to his success and soon the pizza parlor evolved into John’s Pizza, Pasta, Homemade Ice Cream and Fun Factory. After decades of running and expanding the Ridgecrest store, John sold it and started the John’s Incredible Pizza Company concept in September 1997 in Victorville.
