Not bad, not bad. Service was kind of slow but it’s an airport restaurant so it’s to be expected. The food was pretty good, breakfast burrito was pretty flavorless but adding the salsa made it great. Home fries were amazing.

It’s was just ok. The service was slow and the food mediocre. The server was nice enough but the restaurant seems a little disorganized. And the price is expensive for just so so food.

Very disappointing. Seems management keeps them open past close to make more money at the cost of quality and customer service. I asked the cashier what she liked, «chicken!» So I got the grilled chicken burrito, with no rice or beans, add guacamole($ 2.50 more). I get the burrito in about 7 minutes… I get the spicy sauce. Mind you my plane is boarding, so I need to eat n run. I take a bite and it is stewed chicken with some pico de gallo in it. I tell the cashier who says«oh, I will get your guac for you.» She did not get it to me for a while, and my burrito was done by the time it was at the counter. For $ 2.50, I received 2oz of guac. This place is an embarrassment to any restaurant with management… don’t go. The kitchen staff were just waiting to leave and the quality showed. As far as I am concerned, they owe my $ 12.50.

Man, on my home and this time around its dinner time. I didnt realize from the last time the menu here is really bare. It was a little busy. You seat yourself environment. I first ordered a spicy mango margarita. Not good! There was no spice at all. Im not sure if they put in the drink or not, but i couldnt taste it. For dinner i ordered the chimichanga again cause i liked it the first time. NOPE. Its supposed to be crunchy cause its fried, but it came soft and watered down. The best thing on the plate were the beans. Not coming here again. Better off going next door to burger king. The service suxked this time. Watress didnt ask me how i was doing. And i didnt even finish my cocktail. Booo

Out of chips… so no nachos, chips and salsa, etc. Tried for chicken quesadilla… ran out of chicken and forgot to press start to cook more. Whoever is doing the ordering needs to re-evaluate how they are doing it. That being said, we had a firecracker of a waitress in Stacie, who took her restaurant’s shortcomings in stride and kept our drinks refilled. Not the best, not the worst, but not having chips in a Mexican restaurant is a major faux pas.

You’d think servers in a restaurant in an airport would have an understanding of how precious time is when catching a connecting flight. I seated myself as the sign instructed and waited 10 minutes without even the slightest acknowledgement from multiple servers that I’m not invisible. I finally got one of their attention and asked her how I place an order. She pointed to another server and said«your server,» as she rushed away. The server she had pointed to was clearly serving a different section but I waited patiently another 5 minutes, at which point I got up and left since my time until my next flight was getting shorter. After reading the reviews here, it appears that maybe they did me a favor.

Blah… Standard, frozen, pre-prepped restaurant food… bland. The pork nachos were OK, but the cheese was not very good and there was minimal pork on the marginal, kinda stale tortilla chips. The rice, beans, and lettuce were, again, standard restaurant cheap stuff from a restaurant supply. Gross… My chicken ‘burritos’ were bland with minimal chicken and nasty cheese. Service was slow, as stated by others. Never again!

Was«stuck» in Vegas airport on a 4-hour layover(really should have just left the airport and explored The Strip), I was hungry for breakfast and didn’t have a lot of options. I have had Tequileria before for a quick quesadilla in-between flights and it’s pretty hard to screw up a cheese quesadilla. But today was the first time I actually sat down and ate in the restaurant. My server was friendly enough and took my drink order right away(just a glass of water) — but then it was 10 minutes before I saw the water, or her, again. It was breakfast so I ordered the Huevos Rancheros. The food came out fairly quickly. The eggs were cooked well, as were the«home fries», but everything else was a mediocre, soggy mess. Too much salsa, cold tortillas, cold beans, and overall a kind of «blah» breakfast. I was hungry so I ate it, unfortunately — then discovered better breakfast options in other terminals of the airport. Live and learn.

This review is for the location that is at McCarren Int’ airport in Las Vegas(Terminal C). We always stop here to have a tall cold beer and some mexican food or just chips and guac while we wait for our plane. Service was horrible for a while last year, but it has improved and the last few times we stopped in, we have been greeted right away and given a table with quick order service which is what you need at an airport restaurant. The food comes out fast, hot and delicious basically every time and I have never had any complaints about anything I have ordered. Next time you are flying out of LV and are in need of a cold one or a quick bite before flying out, check this place!

Very slow service. Waited 5 min to be greeted. Another 5 min after order to get drinks. Another 5 to get the chips(yeah a Mexican restaurants you need to order chips btw). Food is mediocre. Try to avoid this place.

Ugh, the dreaded lengthy flight delay that leaves you no choice but to go to a restaurant and pay the«have to sell my kidney» prices at the airport because you’re so hungry and bored. Too tired to go on the lengthy walk for food and a drink, I opted for here since it was right by my gate. After getting a tall draft at the same price of a domestic twelve pack, I made my dinner selection. I know it’s lower end airport food at high end prices, but can you at least go a step above Taco Bell? Heck, Chipotle is a Michelin star restaurant compared to this place, both in food and service. I won’t be lazy next time and do the walk.

Food — nasty Service — subpar Pricing — on par with airport pricing Food — food arrived fast, looked good, but cold, never a good combination, it means that the pre-prepared food is not being held at the correct temperatures. I did food service for 15 years, and know that food doesn’t die that quickly on the pass… Service — my waitress seemed annoyed at every little thing(things like taking my order, bringing my drink and food, even taking my money!) Pricing — my meal(carne asada nachos with soda) came to ~$ 20 before tip. Now here’s hoping I don’t pay for this meal in other ways on my flight to Atlanta other than paying with my credit card…

I am rating this on the«airport food» curve where 5 stars is Tortas Fronteras at ORD and 1 star is the Hearth at YYZ. If you’re at the far end of Concourse C, you have few choices including Burger King, Nathans Famous and a few other fast food places. If you’re actually looking for table service, Jose Cuervo’s «Tequileria» is it. What is a «Tequileria», exactly? Is it a place inside of an airport that serves very overpriced margaritas that are mostly mix and Taco Bell quality food? Must be so, because that’s what you’re getting here. Seating is «seat yourself». In a «Tequileria» setting that means grab an open table, which will probably be dirty and watch the staff desperately try not to make eye contact with you for a good 10 minutes. Eventually(maybe), one of them will make a mistake, accidentally acknowledge you and as a punishment, have to take your order. You might be worried about missing your flight but no fear, your food will come out INSTANTLY. No, it’s not tequila infused ninjas in the back preparing your dish at lightning speed, everything is premade and thrown on a plate. My chicken tacos($ 12) were literally indistinguishable from Taco Bell’s Chicken Soft Tacos. Same cheap iceberg lettuce and«shredded cheese» toppings. Some Fire Sauce would have been appreciated because these mofos are bland. I’d say skip the food but honestly, there’s really not much better in this concourse. Two stars — one for being the only sit down place in C, the seconds because my dinner did not result in The Troubles on my 3.5 hour flight home. Also, note to self — rent a space in the airport, buy a bunch of Taco Bell meal kits and call myself a «tequileria» = PROFIT.

This is my third or fourth time lunching here on the way to somewhere else in the country. I have to say the menu is good for Mexican place at the airport. I have tried the beef and carnitas tacos, and they are good for this kind of place. The service is fast, attentive and courteous which is what the doctor ordered when you have 45 minutes till your connecting flight. They have 6 or 9 onces choice for wine. Always go for the 9, better value. It’s a bit expensive, but it is an airport concession after all

Very lackluster service. The first thing the waitress said to us was«I’ll get to you in a minute». I realize that it’s busy and in an airport but it’s also filled with travelers with limited amounts of time who are also stressed out from being in an airport After asking the server what we should order that we could expect to receive and eat quickly within our 45 minute time frame and let her know exactly when we needed to leave we made our orders. We received our food right about the time we really needed to be getting up to go. We ended up running to our plane and boarding last without actually finishing what we ordered. The food was decent from what I could tell. I scarfed a little of what I had ordered because I was really hungry so I can’t say that I actually tasted it much.

This one star goes to this place for playing the Warriors game along with the Lakers game on a legendary night in basketball history. My girls and I were headed back to the Bay Area from a short Vegas trip and wanted nothing else but to watch the Warrior game on TV before we boarded our flight. If you didn’t know already, Vegas is primarily an LA Laker zone(apparently) and Kobe was having his last game that night… of course everyone wanted to see it! But, it was also the night that the Warriors would break the Chicago Bull’s most wins in a single season record. Having both games on was TOTALLYNECESSARY! Thank goodness this place decided to play both games(unlike every other bar in the airport). Enough of that, besides the basketball games, this place was nothing but uncomfortable. The workers here were just talking smack to each other and discussing their personal problems outright in front of all us customers. If that wasn’t uncomfortable enough, one party who was trying to get seated seemed so uneasy about how the servers talked to each other, that they just straight up walked out of the place. Lastly, one of our friends who met up with us had to literally get out of her seat to seek out someone to take her drink order. She wanted to order a margarita, and about three servers just replied with, «Not my section!» Or, «Your server should be coming.» About twenty minutes of searching for a willing worker, the bartender said, «Oh honey, you’ve been waiting too long. Let me just take your drink order.» Although I didn’t take a bite of their food, I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to waste their time here unless this place is the only one playing what you want on TV. Sadly, that was the highlight of this experience.

This is a solid choice especially for breakfast. Barbacoa and huevos is my go to selection. Scrambled eggs with tasty sliced beef. That’s all I need but it comes with tortillas and home fries if you want to carb load. I’ve had the chicken enchiladas for lunch and the were fine. This is not a one star place so try it for yourself. Oh and service is pretty fast and food doesn’t take long which is good when you are on a layover.

I was a little nervous walking in here after seeing the poor rating on Unilocal of this place, but when I’m hungry and craving Mexican, there is no taming the beast. After my experience, I would say don’t be afraid to come in here, just don’t have high expectations. After sitting down(it’s seat yourself) it took awhile for our waitress to come over and take our drink order. Once she did we ordered two waters, the chips and salsa and I got the barbacoa tacos done American style. The food came out surprisingly fast so this food is not made to order. It was warm, but not hot. The chips and salsa are huge. My mom and I realized we should have ordered one entrée with the size of the appetizer! Overall I wouldn’t not eat here again, I just might try a different option first.

Rarely do I depart from Gate C, however, in the past, JCT was a decent place. No longer. I ordered Huveos Rancheros, which was a mistake. Served up on a cold plate was the first sign of disaster. Just a nasty meal. Yet, I was hungry, so I attempted to eat what I could. Now, an overly friendly bartender, wanted to just chat me up with nonsensical conversation. «You don’t like Red Rock Casino, why???» Etcetera. Dude, I stay at The Cosmo! Already irritated by my lack luster meal, I just bit my tounge and left, rather that telling him to shut up which would not have been very nice.

I really didn’t want a sandwich so we decided to try Mexican. Total miss with the queso and salsa and their menu even seemed bland. I decided to go with the Taco salad since that looked the most appealing from looking at Unilocal photos. I got a a salad, not in a taco shell, and a few tortilla strips on top. The salad was very bland. Go for the sandwich. Not a fan. I’m giving 1 star for the food and an extra for the waitress. She was really sweet and on top of service.
