La Marie Portraiture

Two weeks before our trip to Vegas, I decided I wanted to do a Boudoir Shoot as a Christmas gift for my husband and as a keepsake for me since I was going to be thirty soon. I didn’t think I was going to get an appointment because of my last minute spontaneous decision but I did!
I had emailed a couple different photographers in the area but no response was as prompt, friendly but still professional as La’s. I knew right at that moment that my experience was going to be simply amazing.
The day of my shoot, La and her team made me feel and look so beautiful. I was a bit nervous but La made me feel comfortable in my own skin. She paid attention to every detail and knew which poses were best for me.
The whole experience was awesome.
We received our photos and they are absolutely beautiful! And they are of ME! My husband LOVES his app on his phone. :) and I do too! The album is exquisite and will last a lifetime! I would definitely recommend La and already have! It’s something every woman should do!

Not only are the photos the best you will ever have of yourself or loved ones, but La and her team are professional, fun, and most of all make you feel comfortable! I am extremely pleased with all of my pictures! She makes it really hard to choose which ones to get! If you are looking for the perfect gift to give your significant other… or keep for yourself (as I did)…This is it! So beautiful and pretty and something you will get to keep for a lifetime!!! I highly, highly recommended using her! I would give 10 stars if I could!

La is amazing! There is no better word to describe her and the work she does! She is absolutely the best. I was so nervous going in, but her and her awesome team made everything so comfortable! I could never have imagined going to anyone else with such intimate and personal photos! I gave this to my husband as his wedding gift and he was beyond ecstatic with the result! ABSO-​freakinlutely La-​La-​LOVE La!!! After researching ALL the different photogs in the Valley (and believe me, I’ve looked into PLENTY), all roads led to La. I stumbled onto some of her photos online and cross-​referenced with Unilocal and Google reviews and they were all sterling. In fact, one of the reviews was from one of my oldest friends!!! If that wasn’t enough of «a sign», I asked my Aesthetician if she knew of any good boudoir photogs and lo and behold, she hands me La’s card. I knew right then and there it was meant to be…
I’m not shy by any means, but a Boudoir shoot, in my opinion, requires a level of comfort and intimacy between the photographed and photographer to truly capture the essence and sensuality of the woman. Although I only met La one other time prior to our shoot, she was very personable, pleasant, and immediately felt like we were fast friends.
Fast forward to the day of the shoot: Champagne, MUA extraordinaire (Rose), and VS hair maven (Tayler); check, check, and check!!! After getting all sexified (and primed with enough bubbles), the magic began. La knows how to make a woman look GOOD!!! She directs and poses you very well (especially for those who feel awkward moving in front of a camera) and she knows the flattering «angles» to make ANY woman look like a total bombshell!!! The reveal was more than I ever expected! All I could say was «Wow!» I think everyone who she’s photographed knows what I’m talking about.
I’m so glad I did it! Not only did it make a great gift for my hubby, but I’m immortalized in some of the most stunning, erotic, and sensual photographs I’ve ever taken.

I can’t say enough about La and her team! They are AMAZING! I believe every woman should splurge on this type of opportunity with her! Working with La and her team left me grinning from ear to ear! Not only is La extremely talented, creative, and professional, she has a way of making you feel at total ease and really beautiful! The images alone are to die for and allow you to see yourself in ways you only have dreamed. You can let your guard down and inhibitions go! Thank you so much La, as I got this as a gift for my husband but it was much a gift to me in the end! XO

Never have I ever thought I would have the courage to do something like this. La is fabulous with her work! First impression goes a long way with me and when I met her for a consultation she made me feel comfortable and welcomed. We talked about the process of the day, reviewed some of her prior shoots, and just talked like she was a long lost friend lol. From there I knew she was the perfect person to work with. Day of the shoot she had her team ready to make me look like some type of super model. The MUA Rose did wonders on my face and such a sweet soul. Tayler who tamed my mane was hilarious. La knows exactly what she is doing. Her direction for the photos will surpass your expectations! I’m in love with my photos! You are amazing La!

I had the most amazing experience with La! She is a Boudoir artist and I was blown away with her work! My photos were better than I could have ever imagined. She is the best! If you want the best you have to book her! She is completely professional and makes you feel so comfortable and beautiful. I will probably do this again! It was so much fun! I did this as a gift for my groom and I can’t wait for him to see! Thank you La for making this experience absolutely perfect!

Omg!!! If I could give La and her crew infinite stars, I would!!! I am extremely insecure with my body (I don’t and can’t even get myself to wear a bikini in the summer and I have never been naked with lights on with my fiancé). But, I decided after many years of pondering if I should go through with the boudoir, my future hubby deserves a gift he’ll never forget on our wedding day. I’ve called many places but something was pulling me to La Marie. From the moment I spoke to her and to this day, she made this process so easy and COMFORTING!!! I have never been so nervous in my life the day of the shoot and her all girl team made me feel like I was the princess of the day and so relaxed! I forgot I was naked by the end of the shoot and my self esteem shot up rocket high! I cannot thank La and her team enough to make an ordinary girl next door into a beautiful woman who looks classy and sexy! If you are considering doing a boudoir, don’t consider it. You MUST do it!!! I truly don’t know where to start about La and my recent boudoir photo session… :)! I’ve been curious re: boudoir portraits for years but always felt out of shape, not at my «prime»… doubtful I would approve of the «me» I’d see in print. All those worries fell away during my consult with La. Personable, kind and engaging, she immediately put me at ease! On the day of my shoot, I was transformed into a glowy, beautiful version of myself by skilled hair/​makeup artist, Brianna. I felt so empowered and confident! La and her «all female team» coached me through the entire session and the results were more amazing than I’d ever dreamed… classy, classic, sexy and cool. La’s photography is beyond compare! I now have a moment of my life and my body captured in time. It is a gift to myself I’ll always treasure (altho my significant other loves my pictures, too!). My experience with La Marie Portraiture was so wonderful! I decided to do the photoshoot as a present for my husband for our first anniversary. La was absolutely amazing throughout the whole experience.
I think one of the key things was that La took the time to meet with me before doing the photo shoot. She scheduled a consult for us over coffee. I was able to express my interests and get to meet La to become more comfortable prior to the day of the shoot. She explained to me in detail what I could expect and also helped me to get some ideas for the attire I would wear.
The day of the shoot was great. I was definitely nervous at first, as never having done something like this before. I was spoiled with great looking hair and makeup and felt so pretty. La had also brought some champagne and strawberries which was definitely a nice touch and helped me to relax a bit.
My photos came out absolutely beautful. I was so happy with the results and La created a photo book for me to give to my husband. He was very impressed and suprised! I will always cherish those photos, especially when I am older and can look back. I highly recommend La if you are looking to do any kinda of photo shoot where you want to feel dolled up and glamorous. I am even thinking of going back again to do another shoot. Thanks La for all your hard work and beautful photographs!

I absolutely loved the experience I had with La Marie! I was 9 months pregnant and doing a maternity boudoir shoot for my Fiancé and felt gorgeous. La and her team made me feel comfortable and were always checking to make sure I was comfortable. The photos came out beautiful and my Fiancé was blown away with the reveal. She was great at keeping in contact with me way before the shoot and even after with checking up with me about my baby. I highly recommend La Marie, she really cares about her clients and it shows in her portraits.

So… I loved it so much, I came back for seconds. My husband and I did a couples boudoir shoot and … It was Hot Hot Hot.
We both loved it. My husband loved getting a chance to experience what I had previously experienced. It was so much fun to get photographed by La. She kept us laughing and enjoying every second. Lots of heated, sensual moments paired with giggly loving moments. La found a way to bring out who we are as a couple in the photos, and for that we are eternally grateful.
My husband says it is definitely worth the money. The fun times and the beautifully stunning pictures that result from such a good time. La did such an amazing job, that we needed to have the photos. Now we have a stunning album to remind ourselves always of how sexy we are as a couple.
It was an amazing experience that I am so glad I had the pleasure of sharing with my husband. We will cherish the experience forever and fondly reflect on the photos.
Did I mention that I am going back for thirds? I’ve already booked a mother daughter photo shoot that I am so excited for.

Just– wow. She and her partners absolutely wowed me.
I had been wanting to do a boudoir shoot as a wedding day gift to my fiancé, but as I looked around I couldn’t find any photographers whose work I found tasteful. One day I found a brochure for La Marie, and when I looked her up I simply fell in love with her portfolio! I called her and we met up so she could show me how exactly this whole thing works. Now I was planning on losing a bunch of weight before doing anything like this– but she told me to not worry about it. What? I thought about it– and although I am now currently losing weight for the wedding, I was thrilled with the idea of being able to see myself at my own average size and be reminded that I am beautiful– even when I don’t feel like it. She gave me plenty of other tips and advice, and covered thoroughly what I was getting myself into. From day one, her goal was clearly to make me comfortable with this foreign (and admittedly quite awkward for me) thing, and to make me feel gorgeous.
We kept in touch all the way up to the photoshoot as I was constantly asking her advice as I went shopping for outfits and jewelry (which she gave me plenty of time to do), and she was always quick to respond to my questions. Not to mention that she was super excited right along with me!
The day of the photoshoot I ended up being late (which is not cool and I don’t recommend being late), BUT, she was so kind about it and did not seem bothered at all. She helped me carry all my things (as I had a big fluffy white dress to carry), and I was greeted in the studio/​hotel/​boutique room by mimosas and a super legit makeup artist!
The makeup artist was phenomenal, and we had so much fun just getting ready for the shoot. I am personally really uncomfortable with any sort of locker room/​changing/​underwear-​wearing anything in front of anyone– even other females. But the awkwardness was soon relieved as the three ladies made it a fun, comfortable, an even flattering environment. I never would have actually seen myself doing something like that, but the entire thing was an absolute breeze.
La kept in touch with me even after the shoot to let me know what was going on with timing and such for editing/​the reveal/​etc. When reveal day came, I was super nervous again! But when I saw the pictures, I was blown away. La didn’t photoshop me to look 3 sizes smaller (which she said she could do if I wanted her to), I just looked like me. A classy, glowy, lacy, gorgeous me. I wouldn’t say I have awful self esteem, but I had honestly never thought of myself as being that beautiful. I ended up not asking her to alter the pics any further, because that is exactly how I want to see myself.
The entire time what had been most daunting was the price. Now it was time to order prints. I was intimidated for sure, but she helped me choose the right products and even helped make a payment plan! Now I’m done paying for it, and it was even easier than I thought it would be.
Even though the process should be over now– I asked her to hold onto the book and sparkly flash drive until the wedding. And she was totally fine with that.
If I could give her ten out of five stars, I would. Her photography, personality, and professionalism are all through the roof. Whatever stage of life you’re in– this is a good time to remind yourself that you are beautiful (and possibly give your SO a REALLY super awesome present).

I absolutely love La! I worked with her on a present for my husband for his birthday and he was stunned by the pictures. I loved how she made me felt and how comfortable I was with her. This was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. I have recommended her to everyone looking to do Boudoir shoots! La Rocks!!!

I’ve always had issues with how I look. Most of the time, I feel like I’m not skinny enough or pretty enough, and I was always shy. Growing up with a mother who was a beauty queen probably attributed to this. It didn’t help, too, that I became a single mom at a young age. My self-​confidence hit rock bottom and I didn’t feel good about myself. I felt ugly, No matter how many times my S.O. tells me I am beautiful. And then I remember, from a few years back, how a photo shoot from college helped me boost my confidence and I thought to myself, maybe doing something like that can help me again.
And that’s how I decided I wanted to do a photo shoot. For months I did research, and never found a photographer that suits my taste. And then I found La. At first I got scared how everything will be, since she was mainly doing Boudoir shoots before. But the more I look at her pictures, the more convinced that I found the one :)
And I couldn’t have made a better choice. I was happy with everything, from consultation with La over the phone, to hair and makeup done by Leila, the moscato and the strawberries, and the session itself. They even helped me coordinate my outfits. I felt pampered, I felt beautiful, and I was happy. La is a great photographer. She made me feel at ease, she gave clear directions; it was almost like having your best friend take your pictures; I felt no inhibitions throughout the shoot.
The reveal was something else. I was so glad we were in a public place; otherwise I would’ve probably cried seeing my pictures. I never saw myself that beautiful. I couldn’t stop staring at myself. My face was numb at the end of the reveal from too much smiling and I couldn’t wait to show my S.O. the pictures for St. Valentine’s day. Safe to say he loved them as he refused to give me back my CD :) It definitely is an experience every woman should have and La and her team really know how to bring out the beautiful woman in you :)

I’ve been contemplating Boudair photos for several years and I am so happy that I found La Marie when I decided to jump the gun! Aside from the excellent treatment, hair, make-​up and overall such a comfortable environment, La’s talent to capture sensual beauty is/​was evident in her work! Gave the beautiful photo box and online media gallery to my husband as a Christmas gift and he is obsessed with it. In fact, he now hopes to receive new photos every six months! If you have any hesitation about getting Boudair shots done, go with La because you will be more than happy with the service and end result!

I was treated like a queen from the beginning to the end. I had it worked up in my mind that this would be an uncomfortable experience for me and I am happy to say that I left that photo session feeling so much more confident about myself. My first meeting with La was for my consultation, we went over all my ideas for the shoot. La was very patient and very knowledgeable. She helped me with creating a magical experience. When I went for the actual shoot, I was very nervous! Moments after I arrived we laid out all of my outfits and Hannah worked her magic on my hair and make-​up. When I looked in the mirror, I hardly recognized myself, I looked like a super model. My nervousness now turned into excitement! Just like most women, I have many insecurities. I’m not sure how La did it, but she made me feel very comfortable with my body. I knew for a fact that these pictures were going to be fabulous and I could hardly contain my excitement waiting to see the finished product. After a few weeks La had me over to her place to reveal the most beautiful pictures I have ever taken. The whole experience was absolutely ahhmazing and I hope that everybody can experience that sense of ease and comfort that La made me feel!
