I came in just before 11, the girl behind the counter snarled something to her coworker like«I guess people can’t read signs, that. We close at 11 for lunch. Now we can’t go» first of all, it’s not my fault that your management isn’t smart enough to close ½hr before your lunch to allow time to clear out the people so you can have your lunch break. Second, I’ve had a bad day too and don’t need your attitude. Worst part was, the place was a mess! In the room where they drew the blood, there was trash on the floor which included the rubber bands they use on your arm to cut off the circulation and a sample vile(unable to tell if it had a sample in it or not. The guy who drew my blood actually did a good job despite tossing stuff around and obviously not wanting to né there. Again dude, not my fault you are missing your lunch.

It was not the worst experience, but was not the best either. I made an appointment a few days ahead of time, and completed the online information regarding my personal information and insurance. The lobby itself was rather small. Maybe 12 seats and a small 2-person bench. It felt cramped, and I am very uncomfortable in these types of situations. All but one seat was full, and only two of us had appointments. I was called up within 10 minutes of my arrival. They always ask for a credit/debit card for any balance owing that insurance does not cover. I always refuse this part. I pay my bills when they arrive, as I don’t want an unexpected charge coming through on my card. The tech who brought me back moments later for the blood draw was talkative. That part was nice, since no one really enjoys being there. She was quick about the whole process, but she didn’t quite get the vein at first. This caused her to push the needle slowly in a bit further. That hurt. That part was not fun at all. Considering I have had much worse situations, and the fact that I was out of there quickly as I had to return to work, I was okay with it. I would have preferred that she try again, rather than pushing the needle in further though. Ugh.

TMI alert… First, their form has a location listed that’s been closed for 8 months. Of course, this is the first one we go to. Bummer. To make the situation more awkward, my partner needed a stool sample tested which the doctor said would be given at the lab so my partner has to «go». We rush to the next location and the nurse tells him he had to go home to collect his stool sample and gives him a kit. Well, home is 40 minutes away and he still has to «go» but the lab won’t let him use their bathroom and the lobby bathroom are locked and the lab won’t share the key. A nice maintenance man let’s him into the lobby bathroom. The nurse said for my partner to collect liquid stool in one container. After he «goes» he tells the nurse that there wasn’t any liquid but the nurse says any stool will be fine. Now my partner needs to try to «go» again to gather another sample. Frustrating! Additionally, their Halloween decorations are too scary for little kids.

The employee drawing the blood was not gentle and even accidentally bumped the needle after it was inserted causing unnecessary pain for my wife. She also didn’t apologize for her carelessness. Unfortunately, this is the only provider that is in network for our insurance. We WILL be seeking another Labcorp location for future blood work.

My partner and I come here twice a year for blood work and every single time we come in, the staff is cranky, rude and often very public with why you are in the office. They roll their eyes at everyone, have conversations on speaker phone about testing questions, and will be blatantly rude for no reason. One lady specifically, Pam with dark hair and touches of silver, is exceptionally rude to those in the waiting room every single time we’ve been here. We only come here because it’s closest to our home and work but it’s gotten to the point where next time we will drive across town if needed just to have some privacy with why we are in the office along with some respect as people, let alone patients and customers.

I had a great experience getting my blood drawn. I made an appointment and arrived a little early and she was able to get me right in. I warned her that I sometimes faint, along with my pure disdain for needles. She was quick and mostly painless. Definitely recommend this place. I did dock a star because the other woman working in the place was a little salty and she also ignored the fact that I was standing waiting for the bathroom when she knew no one was in there. *the door had accidentally been locked by a previous customer. The least she could have done was acknowledge that I was standing there. I can’t remember the name of the plebobotomist(spelling?) that helped me, but she had short hair and was very nice. The other one had longer, blonde hair.

This facility is easy in and easy out. I have visited other places like quest and this was faster and I had almost no wait time On a Friday. I recommend it

Make an appointment. This place gets so packed that people are sitting on the floor. You can go online to make the appointment.
