Las Vegas Future Floors

My wife an I are from California, but we have a place in Las Vegas and we needed to replace about 50 linear feet of moulding that was warped by a toilet tank leak. We simply looked up recommendations on the Internet and one was nearby — Future Floors on Dean Martin. We went in and braced ourselves for the impossibility of finding any way to match the 6−½″ custom baseboard. We ended up meeting and explaining our situation to Eric Jordan, the owner. He was a very nice man and he took a look at the sample we brought in. Within a couple minutes he had found the correct moulding. He noted they didn’t carry it in stock. But rather than offer to order it for us, he knew we needed to save time, so he sent us to a place where he thought they should have it in stock. He wrote the model number down for us, provided us directions to get to the place and even called ahead for us to make sure they did have it. We were almost in shock it was so easy. Mr. Jordan was friendly, read our situation and helped us out enormously, saving us a lot of time with his expertise. Although we didn’t end up purchasing anything from Future Floors, we believe they would be a great place to buy flooring from since the owner is so genuinely helpful.

I am disgusted at the guy that answered the phone! He needs training on customer service skills. He was rude, uninterested and condescending.

I am giving the co. 4 stars because the installation done by one of their employees (Julio) was flawless. No seams on the door transitions, and the baseboard corners were installed beautifully. I cannot say more for the installation completed by Julio and his team. They took approx. 1 hr. to clean up daily, to make sure the job was done right and no debris was left at my home. Extremely «conscientious» installer (too bad he is not the owner!!)
Why the 4 stars? Well, because of the customer service following up with the tear down. The team sent to tear out my floors were basically the 3 stooges. They were rushing to remove the floors, and my furniture ended up with broken legs. Many walls were scratched, pcs. of drywall were chipped, front door received a dent with their equipment running in and out of my home, workers were irritated when I requested from them to cover my kitchen opened area to avoid getting dust there. Basically, totally inconsiderate group of men, just concerned to finish their job in the least amount of hours as possible to get more money for the job completed; no concern for the property or valuables of the homeowner.
Then when the dumpster arrived at my home in the evening, I had no idea it was coming that particular day. The dumpster truck damaged my driveway and chipped part of my curb! Then I’m having my HOA hounding me down for these damages, that appear minimal in the eyes of the owner of the co. I was insulted over the phone, called various names, where a contractor has no right to speak to a customer in the way the owner addressed me. Again, poor professionalism and disrespect! No calls received from their team to notify the homeowner of any service being performed; calls arrived only after the work was completed and the final payment had to be picked up from my home. Poor communication on the part of the team at Future Floors and poor customer service. No following up, until after I hounded them down with complaints. The customer cannot be on top of the contractor, but the other way around. That is my main complaint here. More professionalism is needed to earn 5 stars from me.
So, if the areas mentioned above are corrected I believe the co. would get my 5 stars for excellent service. The installation was excellent, but the other areas lacked attention on the part of Future Floors.

Update: My curb was never repaired by Future Floors. They said they would call me with a follow up, and walked away without repairing anything! I spoke to their buddy the dumpster co. (they have a 3 yr. relationship, so why ruin that with customer repairs/​complaints) and the co. threw the ball back at Future Floors. Basically, I am responsible to repair my concrete curve after the dumpster was brought into my driveway to be turned, when I was never notified a dumpster was arriving that evening. So, I was not there to receive the dumpster, but just to see the damages after the fact! Future Floors wanted proof of pics taken of the damages, letter from my HOA, to show them a damage was done. Very professional way of responding to customers. They will get so many referrals from me now!!- Then, they have the owner’s son answering phones (send the young man to a communications class please!!- so he has the proper diction when speaking the ENG language!!) — anyway, he does not know his right from his left and cannot notify customers of appointments, but after the workers have already arrived at your door! — that’s what you call NEPOTISM at its best! — so this is my latest former customer complaint, because that’s exactly what I am now.

I researched many review sites, visited stores from North LV to Henderson and decided to go with these guys. I can not say enough good things about Future Floors. The service was outstanding, the price was good, the installation (by Julio) was a real work of craftsmanship. I have never seen a better installation of hardwood floors and tile, ever! I am a perfectionist and there was not one thing wrong with this job. We had about 1,000 sf of tile removed and 1400 sf of hardwood flooring installed.
Eric, E.J. (Eric’s son) and Lynette are super people. They say what they do then do what they say. Do not make a decision without visiting their showroom, and don’t forget to ask about the «green dot» pricing and all that it includes.
I really believe you absolutely can not go wrong.

A great family run business that delivers exemplary service and quality. The Jordans’ are an awesome family and their «Craftsman Installer Julio Caesar» who also does quality control will deliver the job as you want it guaranteed, no doubt in my mind.

Eric and the entire team at Future Floors had one thing in mind, our total satisfaction! We have been to a few flooring retailers and there was always a question left in our minds about something, but with future floors that was different from the moment we walked in until the flooring installers left. The attention to detail and the craftsmanship is top notch. We are absolutely satisfied with the end-​to-​end experience of Eric and the Future Floor experts.

Stopped by while searching for some supplies for a DIY flooring project. Personal service was spectacular! I have some pretty unique issues with my project and the folks at the store figured out what I would need, called their suppliers to find the best deal, and arranged for me to pick it up right away instead of waiting for it to be shipped into the store.
Great pricing, great service. I highly recommend these guys!

This place was our second stop for getting a laminate quote for our new home. Eric and his family where so friendly and knowledgable! Eric really took his time to explain the different products and installation process. After measuring (and some issues with our closing costs being more than they should have…) we were slightly over budget for the laminate and new base. Eric was more than willing to try and find ways to cut costs and make us happy. After eliminating 1 room and base we came up with a price that we both agreed on. Eric’s guys started 2 days early to my surprise and were all very friendly when I made a pit stop at the house and saw they were there. They finished in 2 days and left the home very clean. I would highly recommend this family owned business to anyone! Hopefully when we can, we will be using them for carpet replacement in the remaining areas of our house and finally get that baseboard we dream of.
