History

Established in 2000.

Dr. Arian has been practicing Dentistry for over 15 years since 1998 but he started his solo practice at the current location in 2000. Las Vegas dentist, Dr. Arian, has trained with the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and will incorporate into your care the latest and most advanced dental technology and techniques.

Dr. Afshin Arian earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California Irvine and his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He has studied many courses at the California Implant Institute, which allow him to perform dental implant surgery and restorations. He also completed a one-​year residency in advanced education in cosmetic dentistry at the University of California in San Francisco and took an additional two years of training in orthodontics.

He has enrolled in the continuing education curriculum at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). He has also taken many other continuing education classes at different venues as well. Dr. Arian is a member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association and the International Association for Orthodontics.

I had a dental emergency and called the office Thursday trying to find out if they can see me as soon as possible. To my amazement they could see me as soon as this afternoon. You can’t do better than that! When I arrived at the office in the a.m. I was promptly taken into the examination room, x-​rays of the tooth that bothered me were taken as well as the pantographic (full mouth) X-​rays. 10 minutes later I was seen by dr. Arian. He was very knowledgable, laid back and did not skimp on time talking to me about my condition and available treatment options. I really appreciated him being very friendly, communicative and explaining everything to me. I also appreciated the fact that he took his time and did not rush me or try to talk me into any expensive procedure. He totally put me at ease and I liked that a lot. His dental assistant who was helping me (unfortunately I don’t remember her name) was super friendly and knew what she was doing. The front desk staff was also very nice and accommodating! I will certainly see them again, ‘cos they offered me the sort of care I was hoping for.

I have never wrote a review for anything, but I had to brag about my dentist. I used to be scared and had major anxiety when going to the dentist. Man he made those fears go away. He is gentle, thorough and really takes his time. I am actually comfortable sitting in his chair, the staff are extremely nice. Feels like family when you walk into the office. I have never had a good dentist which is probably why I had major problems with my teeth because I feel most of them are about the money. I had gums growing over my temporary crown. Now most dentist would not tell you that, they would just put the permanent crown over it and say oh well. I was shocked that he told me and he took the effort to lazer the extra growth so it would be a healthy fit and did not charge me extra for it. I had also went it to get my filling checked and again he looked at it adjust it and did not charge me. It was new to me because my old dentist would suck those $$$$ from you. I am thankful for this awesome service. This office actually works with you if you have money issues so you can have that healthy smile. I am telling you I thank God for giving me a honest dentist who cares about his patients. He is truly awesome.

Everyone is very friendly and they treat you as a family. Dr. Arian is a great dentist i got my tooth pulled out and I didn’t even feel that much pain. I highly recommend this place.

Great Dentist! the atmosphere is not like a normal dental office, it is very warm feeling and everyone is so helpful and kind. I was having alot of pain on a tooth and they saw me right away were very caring and concerned and it was not pricey but affordable. A nice lady that works there in the front signed me up on a dental payment plan with no money down! I was so happy, not only to be out of pain but they made everything fit my budget! This place is a keeper, it was very clean, new technology. I was so happy to be out of pain and love how personal they are! I am definitely going to be returning.

I haven’t been going here long — only about a month — but I’ve been 5 times already (!) so I felt I was qualified to give an accurate review. I have never written a review on Unilocal before but Dr. Arian and his staff deserve a glowing one.
Having new dental insurance, I was so bummed to find out that my favorite dentist in Vegas did not take my insurace. So I looked online and decided between either Dr. Arian or another doctor much closer to my home. When I called both places, I decided to go to Dr. Arian because his reception staff were SO friendly and accommodating. It’s been my experience that reception is usually whatever; even at the dentist I loved going to before– never rude by any means but just nothing for them to be proud of. These girls are awesome– so sweet and their follow up communication is on point, from emails to text reminders.
Both my xray and cleaning appointments went very well and the doctor and staff were very friendly. Next, I had 3 different visits for fillings; 9 fillings total and a sealant. That’s what happens when your teeth are more susceptible to cavities and you skip the dentist for 3 years in a row. I usually don’t have any problems with pain from the needle and this was also the case with Dr. Arian. The doctor and the awesome girl who always helps with fillings — I’m sorry, I don’t remember her name — kept checking on me and making sure I was okay and numb enough. It was as painless and as comfortable as possible.
All the positive reviews on here are testimony to how great these guys are. As for the negative reviews– pay them no mind. The guy who only came in for a cleaning and then claimed they don’t seem up to date on technology. I have no idea what he’s talking about lol. Everything seems pretty consistent with what you find in a dental office. The guy who said they are pushy is really off as well. They have also told me about additional services but not in a way that made me feel like they were trying to sell anything to me. I never had a dental office let me know what else they do like that. It’s good to know because I’ll probably do whitening with them.
If you’re unsure about a dentist– give this place a try. I drive 30 min from my home to get there and it’s absolutely worth it.

My family loves coming to see Dr. Arian and his staff for our dental needs. From Deanna at the front desk, always happy to answer my endless questions about my insurance, to Christy, Nicole, Tammy, Crystal — everyone who has cleaned our teeth over the years — they are friendly and comfortable to be around. Even my 3 year old enjoys getting his teeth cleaned. They’re very gentle and make it fun for him. Dr. Arian himself is a kind and patient guy, taking the time to answer my questions about various procedures, never making me feel rushed into a decision. I appreciate his perfectionist nature — he truly wants my family to have healthy mouths. We’ve found our family dentist and would recommend his office to anyone looking for a great dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Arian for over a decade now. I like the fact that he is a perfectionist. When it comes to my teeth, I want everything to be just right and he delivers on that. I have had fillings, a root canal and cleanings done there. I have had many friends and family go to him and they have all been very satisfied. If you have real dental problems, he’s the one to see.

I had such a great experience going to the Las Vegas Smile Center. The dentist took great detail in explaining things to me. And he spent the time to listen to my questions and concerns. The staff was super friendly from the receptionist to all the assistants. Everyone seem to genuinely care about me. They helped me to get the financing I needed for my procedure. I was really blown away by the extra mile they all seemed to go to help me with my needs. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

The best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Arian was very professional, knowledgeable, and confident. Dr. Arian addressed all my dental issues and answered all my questions. The whole staff was super friendly and comforting. I had a large treatment plan but they actually brought me back for a complimentary treatment consult. In this meeting they went over my treatment plan and all the options Dr. Arian gave me during my exam. The office also had great financing options available. I’ve had some treatment done already and I am extremely happy with his work. He pays amazing attention to detail. I am so thankful I found an amazing dental office. I highly recommend this office.

I can’t say enough good things about Las Vegas Smile Center. I am not someone who enjoys going to the dentist due to some really bad and painful experiences in the past. These experiences caused me to avoid dental work for many years and put my dental health in a bad position.
A couple years ago, I needed a tooth pulled urgently. I looked up ‘Emergency Dental’ and found this place. The pain was so bad, I decided to give it a try and the entire process went as quick and as painless as possible. Dr. Arian and the staff were very patient with me and the anxiety I had about getting the tooth pulled.
I needed a lot of work, and LVSC worked with me on putting together a plan that was comfortable for my budget. You don’t find this sort of flexibility in a lot of other dental practices. They really worked with me to make the work affordable, and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy.
The staff is always professional and courteous. Everyone treated me with kindness and respect.
Being that I have anxiety about the dentist, they do provide some treatment options to help with that. I used the happy gas for my root canal and crowns. It really calms the nerves and I barely remember the actual procedures. Its just as good as expensive IV sedation, for me at least, and much more affordable. Dr. Arian always takes care to make sure I am not in pain.
My one complaint is that they aren’t open on Fridays, but I can’t give anything less than 5 stars. I’ve had a lot of work done, and LVSC has gotten a lot of my business. I still have more work to do over the next few years, and I can’t imagine taking my business anywhere else.

Dr. Arian is an amazing dentist! I’ve been his patient for over 10 years now and will not go anywhere else! He is always honest about what is going on with my teeth and he actually has a sense of humor! Shocking, right??? :)
I actually did cheat on Dr. Arian once, since I live and work in Henderson; so I wanted to see a closer dentist. That one visit that I didn’t book through Dr. Arian has cost me a great amount of money! Dr. Arian’s diagnosis/​suggestions are always on point and addresses the issue from the beginning. I definately learned my lesson.

Dr. A is amazing! I had a really bad tooth issue and he fixed it right away and PAINLESSLY! (I did opt to get the «laughing gas» since I’m so nervous) I hate going to the Dr, but the service was quick staff was super nice and helpful and everything was SUPER CLEAN! Which I loved! They also have payment plans available. Although certain procedures are a little more expensive, I highly recommend this place!

I visited Las Vegas Smile Centre today, in town with a tooth that has played up for a couple of days. After calling in the morning I was fitted in around 2pm. I was very impressed with the care and concern shown by the Dr and staff, with an infection in the tooth not much to be done but treat and then give me all the options. I can continue the trip with my friends and hopefully delay tooth removal until I return home to Australia, if not guess its Vegas here I come again for treatment

Easily the best dental experience I have ever had.
I have had the worst experiences finding a truly ethical and skilled dentist. I have lived in Vegas for over 20 years and until now I have never had an experience worthy of a return visit.
I tried nearly a month ago to see a dentist for a simple tooth extraction and of course the first interaction is a 30 minute up-​sell on all the things I need to get done. When I said I was only interested in the extraction at the time, given my current pain and discomfort, his office told me that my insurance required that I be referred to an Oral Surgeon even for a simple extraction with no complications. This turned out to be an absolute falsehood.
A friend referred me to Las Vegas Smile Center and so with a lot of skepticism I booked a new appointment to have my tooth pulled.
My appt was at Noon. I arrived 15 minutes early to complete my paperwork. I was in my car driving away at 1220 and very impressed.
The staff is genuinely friendly. No scripted hellos like every bank seems to do now. Every person I met there took an interest in making sure I was comfortable. I even had a chat about the gym with one of the assistants.
The dentist was punctual, friendly, responsive and PAIN FREE!!. This was one of those experiences where I didn’t even know that he was done until he told me. During the process he kept asking me If I was comfortable. Most impressive to me was that this Dentist took the time to ask me what «I» wanted from him devoid of any sales pitch. When I made him aware of my needs he gave me a few options and simply asked that I followup when I was ready. How great is that?
I finally found an ethical, affordable and honest dentist after 20 years.

In the early hours in Las Vegas I found myself in the need of some emergency dental work. A friend referred me to Dr. Afshin Arian. He took my call very early in the morning; I told him about my dental issues and informed him that I could not wait much longer. The pain was too much. After reassuring me that I could meet him at his office and he could start working immediately I was starting to get relived.
Dr. Arain’s office is welcoming, extremely clean and well appointed. His assistant Diana greeted me and led me to the exam room while she and my assistant completed the paperwork. Dr. Arain has a warm bedside manner and was gental yet thorough in his examination of my issues. Before I knew it I was no longer in agonizing pain and was on my way to enjoy the rest of my visit to Las Vegas.
Dr. Arain went above and beyond what you can expect from a dentist at 8 in the morning. While my early morning visit might be unique, I’m sure my general experience is not. I can recommend with confidence Dr. Arain and his staff to anyone in need of a great dentist office.

Great service today by these guys! I needed a cleaning, they were fast, kind and very, very professional!
It is my first encounter (since I moved in Vegas) with a dentist and the services are up to the european standards, without paying top money! I’ve been using other services on different dental offices before just to be a little bit scammed! Lots of advices for maintenance from these guys that usually you won’t get it other places, they’re just interested in having as much or as many damages as possible so they can take your money! Dr. Arian is THE guy I want to take care of my teeth from now on! Thank you and your beautiful team!!!

I found the LV Smile Center in a google search, they have a good website which shows that they care about their business and a nice promotion for $ 169 for new patients, that included everything I needed (I haven’t visited a dentist in a long time :().
The staff was really friendly unlike the dentist office I used before, and Dr. Arian is very experienced in his job. He gave me a few advises, and I think I might start flossing my teeth this time (I really hate flossing :/).
